China launches new constellation of satellites for internet service

China sent a new group of 18 satellites into space from Taiyuan City on Tuesday, the first batch of the Qianfan constellation, also known as “G60 Starlink”. This year is the first year for the constellation construction, and a total of 108 satellites are expected to be launched. The network is designed to provide high-speed, secure and reliable broadband internet services.
