00:00The celebration of the birth of Antipolo Rizal's children is said to be like a gunshot.

00:05The suspect is the one who committed the murder.

00:08EJ Gomez has the first news.

00:15On the afternoon of this week, this man took a video to celebrate his 51st birthday.

00:22That video was taken by his nephew in their house in Barangay Santa Cruz, Antipolo City.

00:28But the joy came when he went home because he was very drunk and his nephew pointed a gun at him.

00:35We drank, we enjoyed, we joked, we sang.

00:39When he was already drunk, he suddenly kicked the table.

00:44We let him go home because the alcohol was broken.

00:47His nephew went home to ask about the reason why he lost his cell phone.

00:53My father-in-law answered that he lost his cell phone.

00:57He went home and when he came back, he took his gun.

01:00His nephew, who works as a security guard, pointed a .38 caliber revolver at his relatives who were with him to celebrate his birthday.

01:11The gun was immediately stolen from him.

01:14I defended myself because I heard someone pointing a gun at me.

01:19It's a good thing that there was no bullet because he was already drunk.

01:24If there was a bullet, my son would be the first one to die.

01:27He went to sleep here in the barangay and filed a formal complaint against his nephew.

01:32In his house, the suspect, who was sleeping because he was very drunk, was caught by the people of Barangay Santa Cruz.

01:39He was taken to the police station.

01:44He was very drunk when he celebrated his birthday.

01:48This morning, our suspect was already drunk.

01:51He insisted that he didn't throw the gun.

01:54In the video, we can see how hard it is for the suspect to sit down.

01:57He defended himself.

01:59I'm not drunk yet. Why would I do that? We're celebrating.

02:03It's my birthday.

02:06We're just fighting the case. I'm not pointing a gun.

02:11He also insisted that he didn't throw the gun and he was framed up because of his nephew's jealousy.

02:17No. Why would I frame him up?

02:21How can I be jealous? I was the one who went to the security guard.

02:26At the custodial facility of the Police Community Precinct of Antipolis City, the suspect was arrested

02:32for the case of frustrated homicide and robbery in the Republic Act 10591 or Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
