00:42The Court of Appeals orders the freezing of assets and properties of doomsday preacher
00:46Apolo Kebuloy.
00:47At least 10 bank accounts under Kebuloy's name, 7 real properties, and 5 motor vehicles
00:53are ordered to be frozen.
00:54The freeze order also included Kebuloy's Kingdom of Jesus Christ and Suara Submedia
00:59Corporation, which owns the franchise of Sunshine Media Network International, or SMNI.
01:04The CA's freeze order takes effect immediately and lasts for 20 days, unless extended by
01:09the court.
01:10These are the people and entities included in the order.
01:13The Three Canadas, Simanez, and Roy are Kebuloy's co-accused in the human trafficking and child
01:18abuse cases.
01:19Pauline Canada was arrested last July in Davao City.
01:22Kebuloy is wanted for child and sexual abuse and human trafficking.
01:26Aside from local cases, Kebuloy is also wanted in the United States for a string of offenses,
01:31including sexual trafficking.
01:35The C siblings, heirs to one of the biggest conglomerates in the country, SM Investments
01:39Corporation, are still the Philippines' richest in 2024, according to Forbes Asia.
01:45That despite their combined net worth inching down to $13 billion from $14.4 billion in
01:502023.
01:51Ports billionaire Enrique Razon Jr. ranks second for the first time, thanks to dollar
01:56gains and global trade rebound.
01:58Lance Gokongwe and his siblings, who ranked seventh in 2023, don't make it to the top
02:0210 list in 2024.
02:04But Puregold's Lucio and Susan Cole make it to the list this year.
02:08The country's top 50 richest have a combined wealth of $80.8 billion.
02:13Meantime, the country's gross domestic product grew by 6.3% in the second quarter of 2024.
02:19This figure beats the 5.8% GDP in the first quarter and is also much higher than the 4.3%
02:26in the same period last year.
02:29Taylor Swift's Eres Tour concerts in Vienna have been canceled after the government confirms

03:41and its civilian volunteer arm awards Anderson with a Search and Rescue Medal.

03:52Anderson helped rescue residents who were stranded in their homes in Barangay Santo

03:58On July 25, he was recorded helping transport a family's child out of their home after they

04:16OPM icon Eli Buendia will release a new single, Bulaklak Sabuan, on August 16.
