00:25you know, rap can be there, rap must be there, because this is the quality that has been showing up in rap artists in recent years,

00:34the fact that a lot of bad things appear, a lot of good things also appear, so this needs to be valued, you know?

00:40But in the end, it's all a reflection of my taste, of the music I want to make, and my music is that,

00:46it's a mixture that brings together Pericles, Lagom, Lenin and Melita.

00:55A whole city has its name, your little hand holds my finger, makes life part of me.

01:03And a 36-year-old guy who makes a song that matches what he listens to, what he likes, what he does at the age of 36,

01:11being a father, doing rap for more than 15 years, consuming the things I consume, both reading,

01:19cinema, records, and everything else, and allowing these things to be part of my production process as well.

01:27So, that's it. At this point, this new perspective of Rashidi comes up, a lot is said about the industry,

01:36about the tiktokization of music and art in general, of the content itself,

01:43and this has its advantages for those who quickly adapt, understand the language, can communicate,

01:50and for those who were born, maybe, grown up surrounded by these things,

01:55but it has its disadvantages for those who want to work in other times, in other terms.

02:00So, it's a kind of general message, a kind of alert, but it's the truth, right?

02:08It's the truth. So, it's a message to the music industry, when we get to a place where we discover that it wasn't like we imagined,

02:16it wasn't a band of people in love with music, wanting to make music grow more and more and reach more people, no.

02:23They were people with interests, and many of these interests are sometimes even excuses.

02:29So, they are people with interests that sometimes command people who are passionate about making music, you know?

02:37And that's why it's such a difficult thing, and it's not uncommon, quite the opposite,

02:48So, it's kind of a look behind these crises, behind this emotional shock that artists always suffer,

03:11because that's it, people live in an emotional whirlwind, and they need a lot of wisdom, patience, calmness to deal with all of this.

03:21I'll record with Rico Dalla San, a guy I love, I didn't have the opportunity to do anything with him,

04:18we're talking about embracing more people, reaching more people and touching more hearts,

04:29so I think it has this potential, and of course, we want to open portals of festivals, awards,

04:35a Latin Grammy, why not? I'm not going to complain if this portal opens in front of me, you know?
