We celebrated the 9th anniversary of Take the Bridge with a first for the unsanctioned road race: tackling the George Washington Bridge. Since there’s no set course, Take the Bridge favors the bold and sidesteps convention. Rooted in community (all paces, all faces), it’s the most fun you’ll have running.

00:00Tonight, you're coming with me to the ninth anniversary of Take the Bridge.
00:03Unlike any other race you've done before, I've joined Men's Journal and 5-Hour Energy
00:07to bring you to the ninth anniversary of Take the Bridge right here in New York City.
00:11Take the Bridge, it's an unsanctioned race popping off in cities like Paris, New York,
00:15LA, and more. There's no set course or distance. The start time and more are emailed to runners
00:20the night before, and then you find out every single thing at race day check-in.
00:24Other than that, there's no rules. It is a free for all race to the GWB
00:28and back with the fastest time wins. Hitting side streets, jumping over barriers,
00:33or even in my case, taking an elevator. Shout out to 5-Hour Energy, Men's Journal,
00:38and Take the Bridge for having me, and I cannot wait to race with you guys again soon.
