Neighbor's dog comes knocking on this family's door every day to play with their dog and it's the most precious thing ever ❤️ We spoke to Nicole about how Pita was the first to welcome her family into the neighborhood and how she's been a part of their family ever since!

00:00This is our neighbor's dog, Pita.
00:04She has her parents' permission to come knock on our door anytime she'd like to come over and play with our dog, Fia.
00:13Did you give her candy?
00:17We would play fetch,
00:20tug-of-war.
00:22We'll spend time together.
00:25We might give her a couple of treats.
00:28And then we would walk her back home.
00:34So when Pita would go back home, Fia would look out the window wishing Pita was still over.
00:39You're sad I kicked your buddy out?

00:44She'll be back.
00:45Pita became such a regular part of our weekly routine,
00:49but sometimes we're not always available. So she might go into our yard and roll around for a few minutes and
00:56then just walk back home right where her dad is.
01:00When I would come home from work, I would already see Pita sitting there at our door,
01:05patiently waiting to be let in to play with Fia.
01:10Hey Pita, you want to go see Fia?
01:17Other times, Pita would already be over. Hi, Fia. Pause, pause.
01:23Who else is here? Oh, Pita, did you bring me a toy? Oh my gosh.
01:28There's honestly so much happiness because Pita's in our life.
01:34When we first moved into this house,
01:37it came with a little bit of nervousness for my husband and I.
01:41It was a totally fresh start for us.
01:43And this meant that Fia had to leave all of her doggie friends behind.
01:47As we were making this big life transition,
01:49one of the best things is that Pita was the one there to greet us when we moved in.
02:02And she's been there ever since.

02:07We have a great relationship with Pita's parents. We pass food back and forth.
02:18I became friends with Pita's mom.
02:21She's been a dog that's been able to unite all of us.
02:25And she's been a great mentor.

02:37And really create this very fond memory that we will always hold on to.
02:46But trust us, now we know that we can never move.
