On August 8, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged in a private ceremony, attended by their family members. Nagarjuna Akkineni shared the first pictures from the engagement ceremony on his X account, confirming the couple's union. Soon after the photos went viral, fans of actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu began trolling Chaitanya and Sobhita. While many encouraged Samantha to stay strong, a few users took nasty digs at the couple. For those unaware, Naga Chaitanya was previously married to Samantha. Four years after their wedding in October 2017, they separated in 2021.
