00:15When the raiding team arrived at this apartment building in Olongapo,

00:21they climbed to the third floor and here they saw the illegal construction of teeth pecking braces.

00:29According to the CIDG, it was intentionally placed far from the public's eyes so that the person can operate safely.

00:37The 21-year-old woman who is being accused of making and watching braces was arrested.

00:42In the investigation of the CIDG, the suspect is an online seller and has no background in dentistry,

00:47especially in the construction of braces.

00:49She might have seen on the internet how to install braces.

00:54It's very dangerous because she doesn't have enough knowledge.

00:57She might have a big problem.

00:59Her teeth might fall out.

01:02Her bones might be destroyed.

01:06In Sablan, Benguet, the CIDG raided this apartment building.

01:09The illegal construction of braces was also done.

01:12The wife of the person operating the braces was arrested.

01:14The dental chair used is a massage bed.

01:17According to the Philippine Dental Association,

01:19their use for dental procedures is below the standard.

01:23These illegal practitioners don't have a proper standard of care

01:27or they don't know how to maintain their equipment.

01:30Their equipment is not sterilized.

01:32We don't know if they used it in the past and they will not use it again for other patients.

01:40It results in diseases.

01:42The Philippine Dental Association is warning the public

01:45about the illegal construction of braces and pecking dentists.

01:50There are a lot of pecking dentists online.
