00:00Welcome to Montmartre, the most visited place in the most visited city on the planet.
00:11Montmartre is a must in Paris and if you happen to be here for the Olympics, what better way to see it than in this classic.
00:20This is a Citroën 2CV, a revolution of a car.
00:24They began to build it in 1948, they built it until 1991, they made over 5 million of these.
00:33This beauty, they call her Marie-Jean, belongs to the Parisi Tour Agency, which specializes in bespoke tours.
00:45Owner Yannick and manager Antoine are ready to take us on a journey to the heart of Montmartre.
00:52Montmartre is the soul of Paris.
00:55Today we are going to see obviously the Sacré-Coeur, which is the crown of Montmartre,
01:01but we are also going to see some of the most secret spots in Montmartre that, well, not a lot of people know about.
01:09They come at you fast, Picasso's home and studio for 10 years, one of the windmills immortalized in a Van Gogh or Van Gogh painting.
01:18The Montmartre museum where Renoir lived.
01:23This was Renoir's studio, at the heart of Montmartre and at the heart of the Impressionist movement.
01:30The light is perfect here, north-facing, the same all day.
01:33Here he painted some of the most immortal paintings of that era.
01:40His vineyard wasn't bad either.
01:43We reach the Sacré-Coeur, a 19th century church perched high above downtown Paris,
01:49with its unique Roman Byzantine architecture, white travertine stone and panoramic views.
01:55It's no surprise that more than 10 million people visit each year.
02:00But park Marie-Jean in front of it and there's only one winner.
02:04But will the Olympics benefit companies like Parisi Tours?
02:08Paris is going to send amazing images to the world, so that's perfect for us, for all Paris.
02:18Sadly, we have to say au revoir to Yannick, Antoine and Marie-Jean, as they have another tour waiting.
02:27Ken Brown, CGTN, Paris.
