Former President Donald Trump told reporters he was involved in a helicopter emergency landing with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown. Brown rejected Trump's account, saying they had never been in a helicopter together. A spokesperson for former California Governor Jerry Brown said Trump apparently confused Willie Brown with Jerry Brown. Jerry Brown and Trump had toured wildfire damage by helicopter in 2018, but there was no emergency landing. California Governor Gavin Newsom also disputed Trump's story, saying he was on the helicopter with Jerry Brown and Trump and it did not crash.
