00:00In the UCI World Tour, a new year means new equipment, and 2024 is no different, so we
00:06thought we'd give you a full rundown of the bikes, kit and colours filling your screens
00:11this year. So, let's get into it.
00:19There's little change at the Alpecin de Kunic squads. As the men's team enters its second
00:24season as a World Tour team, men's and women's teams are both still riding Canyon bikes.
00:29The Aeroad, Ultimate and Speedmax will be at the team's disposal, fully clad with
00:34Shimano Dura-Ace groupsets and wheels. The team is sticking with Italian componentry
00:39for the rest of the bike, with Vittoria tyres and Selle Italia saddles.
00:44The squad also has current cyclocross and road race world champion in the shape of Mattia
00:49van der Poel, so look out for his special edition rainbow bikes this year.
00:54Though the women's team will be racing under the Fenix de Kunic name, they'll be riding
00:58the same bikes and similar kit.
01:02It's a similar story over at the French outfit, Arkea B&B Hotels 2, with just a couple
01:10of changes to the team in 2024. They'll still be riding Bianchi bikes, using the Specialissima
01:16and Oltre XR4 on the road, while the Aquila CV will be taking care of time trial duties.
01:23Shimano still provides the team with groupsets, but instead of Dura-Ace wheelsets and Continental
01:27tyres, Arkea will be rolling on Vision hoops clad with Vittoria rubber. The Italian theme
01:33is completed with Selle Italia saddles.
01:39Another team making the switch over to Vision wheels is Astana Kazakhstan. The team has
01:43swapped out the somewhat confusing dual usage of Karima and Headwheels in 2023 for just
01:49Vision this year.
01:50Thankfully, what the team hasn't changed are the beautiful Wilier Trastina bikes. The
01:56team will once again be using the Zero SLR, Filante SLR and Turbine SLR, all in the stunning
02:02Mottled Blue paintjob from last year. Groupsets are once again handled by Shimano, saddles
02:07by Prologo and a slick pair of tambled Vittoria Corsa tyres finishes off each bike.
02:18The special edition Tour de France kit used by Bahrain-Victoria-Sint-2023 was properly
02:23classy, and it seems like we weren't the only ones to think so. For 2024, the team
02:29has all but copied the kit which was such a hit last July, with a new white and light
02:33blue colour scheme on bikes and Lycra.
02:36Beyond a colour change, though, it's business as usual for the team. They'll once again
02:40be riding the Merida Reacto and Merida Scultura in road races, alongside the Merida Timewarp
02:46for those days against the clock.
02:48The bikes will be shod with Shimano groupsets and Prologo saddles, rolling on Vision wheels
02:53with Continental tyres.
02:59Primoz Roglic signing with Bora-Hansgrohe might have just been the biggest transfer
03:03for 2024, but while Roglic will be racing a totally new kit, it is a setup that the
03:09German WorldTour team has tried and tested for the last few years.
03:14Bora-Hansgrohe is sticking with Specialized for 2024, riding just two bikes throughout
03:18the entire year. The Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8 will be the team's only road
03:24racing setup, while the Shiv TT will take care of those flat-out timed blasts.
03:29SRAM makes its first appearance on our list, providing Bora-Hansgrohe with Red Axis 12-speed
03:34wireless shifting, and builds are finished off with Specialized in-house brand Roval
03:38wheels and finishing kit.
03:45In SRAM, you guessed it, we'll be riding Canyon bikes with SRAM groupsets. The women's
03:51WorldTour squad keeps its colourful livery this year, which will be seen on a mixture
03:55of Aeroads, Ultimates and Speedmaxes in 2024. SRAM Umbrella brand Zipp will once again provide
04:02the wheels, which will be mated to Schwalbe tyres, and the bikes will be finished off
04:07with saddles from Ergon.
04:13Orbea finally sees its entry to our list now, with women's team Serra Tizit WNT Pro Cycling.
04:19The German squad will be riding the Orca on the road and the Ordu in time trials, kitted
04:23out with Shimano Dura-Ace shifting and Orbea in-house brand Oko wheels and finishing kit.
04:312023 was a breakthrough year for Cofidis, as they took their first Tour de France stage
04:38win in many years. They'll be looking to build on that success in the coming year and
04:43will do so with pretty similar equipment. They'll be riding the Look 795 Blade RS
04:48on the road, covered in Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupsets and Prologo saddles. Karima wheels
04:54will be fitted, typically the MCC Evo 47mm, paired with Michelin tyres.
05:02It's all change at Decathlon AG2R Le Mondial team, formerly AG2R Citroen. You can say goodbye
05:11to brown shorts and hello to Van Rysel bikes, which make their debut in the World Tour this
05:16year. The Van Rysel RCR Pro will be the French team's bike of choice, and it's been making
05:21quite the stir as one of the most affordable bikes in the peloton. Shimano groupsets will
05:27clad both the RCR Pro road bike and the XCR time trial bike, along with Deda handlebars,
05:33Fizik saddles and Swiss sidewall sets and Continental tyres.
05:42Another team that sees little change is EF Education Easypost. They'll still be riding
05:47Cannondale bikes, Vision wheels and handlebars, Prologo saddles and Vittoria tyres. Shimano
05:52again provides the groupsets. In fact, they outnumber SRAM 23-10 in our list.
05:58The biggest change is that they'll only be riding two bikes, the Super 6 and the Slice
06:03TT bike. It's business as usual for the women's outfit too, with setups being shared
06:08across both men's and women's teams.
06:15After a staggering 22-year partnership with bike sponsor Lapierre, Groupama FDJ has finally
06:21moved away from the French brand. Instead, Wilier steps in to sponsor its second World
06:26Tour team in 2024, with the French team using the Zero SLR and Filante SLR road bikes, alongside
06:32the Turbine SLR TT bike. The rest, however, is the same, with FDJ opting for Shimano Dura-Ace
06:39shifting and, usually, C50 wheelsets, Prologo saddles and Continental tyres.
06:45The women's squad run under the FDJ Suez name and will also be using Wilier bikes built
06:50to the same specifications as the men's.
06:55It's all change at Human Powered Health for 2024. The American outfit, which only
07:01has a women's World Tour team, has left a long-standing partnership with Felt and
07:06moved over to Factor bikes for this year. The team will ride the O2 and the Ostro VAM
07:12and Hans OTT bike, all specced with Factor's sub-brand black ink wheels and handlebars.
07:18The red group sets would also be fitted to the bikes, alongside Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.
07:28Both team management and equipment have changed at the Ineos Grenadiers this year. While long-standing
07:34partner Pinarello will once again provide its Dogma F road race bike and Belida time
07:38trial bike this year, Fizik saddles and Princeton carbon wheels are gone. Instead, the top-ranking
07:45World Tour squad will use Prologo saddles and Shimano Dura-Ace wheel sets, as well as
07:50Shimano group sets and Pinarello house-brand Most Talon handlebars.
07:59The circus is gone from Intermarche 1T for 2024 as the team looks to build on what was
08:04a pretty tough 2023. They'll do so on pretty much the same bikes as last year, however
08:11riding Cube bikes for another season.
08:13Binium Gourmet will be contesting sprint finishes aboard the Cube Lightning C68X aerobike, while
08:19the likes of Luis Mentes will be seen riding the Cube Lightning C68X Air in the mountains.
08:26The Belgian squad are still riding Shimano group sets, Neumann wheels, Continental tyres
08:30and Prologo saddles for the 2024 season.
08:38After a successful season in 2023, Lidl Trek has chosen the if-it-ain't-broke-don't-fix-it
08:44approach to their setup for this year. Mads Pedersen will be looking to recreate the successes
08:48of last year's Tour de France on the same Trek Madone, and Mountain Days will see the
08:53Trek Emonda come out to play.
08:54It's a full American-Italian collaboration when it comes to the builds too, with Pirelli
08:59sorting the tyres and SRAM is still handling the group sets, leaving the Trek subsidiary
09:04Bontrager to fill in the gaps.
09:07It's business as usual for the women's squad too, with both teams riding the same
09:10bikes in the Lidl-inspired colours that were introduced midway through last year.
09:18Movistar Team heads into its 10th year of partnership with Canyon in 2024, and they
09:23are both keeping kit and bike setups pretty much the same for the new year. Both the women's
09:28and men's teams will have access to the full complement of Aeroad, Ultimate and Speedmax
09:33for the 2024 season.
09:35Clad with SRAM Red group sets for the fourth year in a row, the teams will be rolling on
09:39SRAM subsidiary Zipp wheelsets, fitted with Continental tyres.
09:44Fizik saddles are still present, making the only change a very humble one. Look pedals
09:48have been switched out for the time alternatives.
09:55Back in December, Israel Premier Tech confirmed on social media that it had dropped out of
09:59co-title sponsorship with the women's team, leaving them simply as Roland Cycling Team
10:05in 2024.
10:07And with Israel Premier Tech went the Factor bikes too, with Roland making the switch to
10:11Pinarello bikes. Their Pinarello Dogma F road bikes will be fitted with Shimano group sets,
10:16Vision wheels and Sellitalia saddles.
10:22No name change, no kit change, no bike change. It's all the same at Soudal Quickstep.
10:28The stacked Belgium team are still riding specialised bikes, with Shimano group sets.
10:33It's the most streamlined sponsorship in the WorldTour too, just two main brand sponsors,
10:39as specialised in-house brands account for finishing kit, wheels and tyres as well.
10:48They might not have changed the bikes, but Team DSM Fermnich post-NL are carrying a different
10:53look into 2024.
10:55The new Dutch title sponsor has brought with it an orange and white theme to both bikes
10:59and kit.
11:01The team's Scott bikes have received nothing more than a new lick of paint, still equipped
11:05with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 and C50 wheels, Vittoria tyres and Scott's own brand Syncros
11:11finishing kit.
11:12Men's and women's teams will be seen riding the Foil RC on flat days and the Addict when
11:17the going gets steep.
11:23The Australian outfit is sticking with Giant for the 2024 season, but once again, there's
11:27a jazzy new colour scheme to boot.
11:30The men's team will ride the Giant TCR, Propel and Trinity, while the women's squad
11:35will use the Liv Langma.
11:36All bikes will be fitted with Shimano Dura-Ace Shifting, Continental tyres and Giant house
11:41brand Kadex takes care of the wheels and finishing kit.
11:46It's hard to see how Team Visma-Lisabike can top their 2023 season.
11:52They won all three Grand Tours, along with a copious number of other races, aboard Cervelo
11:57bikes, so it's no surprise that they're sticking with the Canadian brand for 2024.
12:03Jonas Vinaigarde will still have the choice of the Cervelo S5, R5 and P5, with both men's
12:08and women's teams using the Reserve wheels, SRAM groupsets and Sellitalia saddles.
12:18Team SD Works Pro Time is home to our Women's World Road Race champion.
12:22Look out for her gorgeous custom-painted Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8 in 2024.
12:28Though the rest of the team doesn't get rainbow privileges, they'll still be riding
12:31Specialized bikes.
12:33Team sponsor SRAM also provides groupsets in the form of its Red Axis Wireless 12-speed
12:37Shifting and Specialized subsidiary Roval are responsible for the wheels and finishing
12:42kit.
12:44It's another year on show stopping bikes for UAE Team Emirates.
12:51Both men's and women's teams will ride Colnago V4 RSs on the road, and the Colnago
12:57TT1 in the Chrono category.
13:00Once again, they have some of the most blinged-out bikes in their peloton, with Envy's currently
13:04unreleased handlebar, along with carbon-tied disc rotors and chainrings.
13:09Wheels are also handled by Envy, and the bikes are finished off with Prologo saddles and
13:13Continental tyres.
13:19The Danish women's pro team will once again be aboard their bikes.
13:22The Tarmanese brand is providing the team with its VSRU road bike and the TSRF Time
13:28Trial bike for the 2024 season, which will once again be fitted with DT Swiss wheels,
13:34Shimano groupsets and Prologo finishing kit.
13:37Let us know down in the comments below which bike you'd most like to be riding this year.
