"I'm a new owner of ducklings and didn't realize the seriousness of leaving them alone near water, assuming they knew how to swim," Alyssa told WooGlobe. "I found two of them drowned and felt horrible! Having done CPR on puppies before, I tried it with the ducklings, and it worked! They are now alive and healthy, and five months old."
Alyssa mentioned that the CPR process took six minutes. The fear she must have felt about possibly losing her first farm babies is unimaginable.
But as they say, all is well that ends well.
