00:00It was a brilliant performance across a huge amount of sports, so from a UK sports point of view we'd set out a medal range of expected between 50 and 70 medals
00:09and the team delivered 65 across 18 different sports which is vast, not many countries get to do quite that breadth of sports.
00:16So really really fantastic, so many, and it's not just, it's very easy to get into the numbers, the medal counts,
00:22but to be honest every single athlete that went out there has performed brilliantly, got an amazing story to tell.
00:29Not everyone, you know, a gold medal is possible, realistic, so I think the biggest thing for us is about how we maximise the potential that we have.
00:38And we often see a high rate of conversion into the gold medals, and we haven't maybe had the same conversion we've had in the past,
00:44so that's a piece of work for everyone to do, to review that and see okay where was the potential that maybe we didn't quite maximise.
00:50The thrill that the Olympics and the Paralympics will do as well brings back to the nation is just a wonderful reminder that these huge moments matter,
00:57and I think LA will be just as brilliant.
