Ukrainian troops in Ukraine's Sumy region travel from and towards the direction of the Russian border. Ukraine says it has thrown thousands of troops at Russia's bordering Kursk region in a lightning operation that caught the Kremlin off guard and has seen Ukrainian forces capture more than two dozen Russian towns and villages. Some armoured vehicles are daubed with a white triangle -- the insignia apparently being used to identify Ukrainian military hardware deployed in the attack.
