00:12:12So there's another Secret Service scandal this weekend.

00:12:30It's a Kamala Harris rally somewhere close by.
00:12:32She appears on this video to be taping
00:12:35over a security camera, and then there's an allegation
00:12:39by the owner that the Secret Service broke into her place
00:12:44or picked the lock or something like that
00:12:46and used their bathroom and basically left this thing
00:12:50dirty and stuff, so here's the agent.
00:12:52This is from a Business Insider video.
00:12:55Looking at the security camera, you'll see it's a salon.
00:12:58You see it's a salon front porch.
00:12:59If those of you who listen on Apple,
00:13:01she's looking up, she doesn't know what to do.
00:13:03She goes away, she sees this security camera.
00:13:06She comes back, you'll see in a few minutes,
00:13:09and she places some, basically some just what appears
00:13:13to be some kind of duct tape over the camera
00:13:16to block this camera out, and again,
00:13:18the bathroom thing turned into a big deal.
00:13:20The salon owner says they weren't authorized
00:13:22to go in there.
00:13:23She's saying they came in and picked the lock
00:13:25and did all this.
00:13:26Now, there's a couple points I wanna make here, okay?
00:13:29If this is true, if all of, and this,
00:13:33I'm applying to Bongino.
00:13:34I have no reason to believe, by the way,
00:13:35the salon, there you go.
00:13:36You see the camera's blacked out
00:13:37because now the security tape goes over.
00:13:38You hear some of that sound in the background.
00:13:40That's obviously from the camera.
00:13:42If this is true, if the allegations turn out to be correct,
00:13:47ladies and gentlemen, the Secret Service
00:13:49or any police department, whatever,
00:13:50without some kind of a warrant,
00:13:52has no authority whatsoever to break into your place.
00:13:56There's a name for that.
00:13:57Any of you guys know what it is?
00:14:00It's called burglary.
00:14:01There's a,
00:14:02they, these guys are very crude.
00:14:05They think this is like a trick question.
00:14:06That's got a name.
00:14:08That's called burglary.
00:14:09There is no exemption to burglary
00:14:12without warrants and other things
00:14:14where you can actively force your way in.
00:14:17If this is true, the Secret Service and whoever did that,
00:14:21because there's no doubt it happened, okay?
00:14:24The only question is who did it?
00:14:26Because the Secret Service has already made
00:14:28some sort of apology for it.
00:14:29So no one's disputing the story
00:14:31that the ladies' salon was in fact used and broken into.
00:14:35It's only the who did it portion.
00:14:37The safety camera thing, let me get to this first,
00:14:40because I feel like I owe you a little bit
00:14:42of inside expertise on this.
00:14:43And I'm never going to bullshit you.
00:14:44You know, I have been very, very, very, very,
00:14:47very harsh on the Secret Service.
00:14:49The active director is a total nightmare.
00:14:51The acting director right now needs to resign immediately.
00:14:54The agency is broken.
00:14:56It needs entirely new leadership.
00:14:57The eighth floor needs to be cleaned out.
00:14:58No question about it.
00:14:59I will say this though.
00:15:02Taping security cameras over, wait,
00:15:05with a big asterisk first.
00:15:08Taping over security cameras is pretty common.
00:15:12However, here's the asterisk.
00:15:15We asked permission first.
00:15:19This isn't hard.
00:15:21Now, why do you tape over security cameras?
00:15:24I've already discussed this before.
00:15:26We usually do it obviously with permission
00:15:29because you don't want people knowing
00:15:30the movements of your protectee.
00:15:32So if we're walking in a hotel,
00:15:33whether it's with Trump or Bush or Obama or Biden
00:15:37or anyone else for that matter, Harris,
00:15:39you don't want people to know.
00:15:41We'll usually staff a Secret Service agent
00:15:43in that hotel security room.
00:15:44There's always a security room with a bunch of cameras.
00:15:47But we typically tape over the cameras
00:15:49in the areas they're going to be because of a couple things.
00:15:52You want to just hear the truth?
00:15:53I'm going to tell you.
00:15:54You don't want people knowing where she is
00:15:56unless it's us, you get what I'm saying?
00:15:59And also, you know, folks, protectees do weird things.
00:16:02I mean, this is the part I shouldn't tell you,
00:16:04but I'll tell you anyway.
00:16:05They pick their nose and stuff, like weirdo stuff, you know?
00:16:08You don't want them on camera, someone's taping it.
00:16:10So that's typically, but they do it with permission.

00:16:16And she's saying that they didn't get permission
00:16:18to do it and did it anyway, it's just freaking weird.

00:16:33They're kind of hinting it wasn't them.
00:16:36I don't know, hinting it may be the local police or whatever.

00:16:45to the Secret Service.
00:16:46If you guys are going to be responsible for security then,
00:16:51you guys are responsible for security.
00:16:54If it's your poststanders, if it's your HSI guys,
00:16:58if it's police officers doing it, it's your responsibility.
00:17:03If this happened, you were responsible.
00:17:09The only thing I can think of is,
00:17:11when I first got in the Secret Service,
00:17:12this guy told this story in the training center about,
00:17:14hey man, we got to do what we got to do for protection.
00:17:16I'll never forget, a lot of students thought
00:17:18we could break into places if it was a protection thing.
00:17:21They did, I had to explain to them later
00:17:23when a bunch of other guys, it's not really the case at all.
00:17:26I'm guessing that may have happened in this case.
00:17:28Oh yeah, we're just going to use it.
00:17:29It's in a federally protected area.
00:17:30That's not the way any of this works.
00:17:34I'm just asking you to apply the Bongino rule
