It has been a couple of months now since the Co-op Live’s infamously tricky start to life in Manchester, so we used Noah Kahan’s gig there to try and assess just how much things have improved.

00:00Hi, I'm Theo with Manchester World and tonight I'm going to go see Noah Khan at the Co-op Live.
00:04So I want you to come along with me, we'll see how convenient the transport links are,
00:07we'll see how well everything's set up because it's been a couple of months now since its tricky opening
00:11and we want to see how well it's fit into the Manchester landscape.
00:14So we're on a very packed tram at the minute on the way to the gig.
00:19From where we got on, trams to the Etihad campus come every 12 minutes or so, so fairly frequently
00:25and obviously with your Co-op Live ticket you get free access to the tram
00:29so it's a good example of the city sort of helping make things more convenient for you.
00:32So we're on our way there now, it looks like a bunch more people are about to get on so I'm going to stop filming.
00:37We're just outside the Co-op Live, it only took around 15 minutes, again really really convenient, really easy.
00:42So let's go in now, we'll show you around a little bit and we'll see how things are looking inside.
01:00So we are well and truly settled now, we're in the Amp Club at the Co-op Live so it's a little bit bougie.
01:08We've had some food, we've got a pizza and chips which cost around £20 combined.
01:12It's not cheap but you're always going to pay a bit extra in the arenas.
01:16In general the experience has been really easy, really fuss free.
01:20Co-op Live has fitted seamlessly into Manchester's infrastructure and despite a shaky start it's really going now.
01:28So we're not far off the opener coming now so we're going to get ourselves set and get into position.
01:40So I'm walking out now and I mean it was a spectacular evening, Noah Carn is a top top performer.
01:45I mean it's been brilliant, easy, convenient and again the sound was a standout.
01:50It was top top notch in terms of sound quality.
01:53So yeah, that's all I really have to say.
