देश की आजादी के पर्व स्वतंत्रता दिवस के मौके पर हर घर तिरंगा अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसी के साथ ही उत्तर प्रदेश के उन्नाव में जल शक्ति मंत्री स्वतंत्र देव सिंह ने विभाजन विभीषिका कार्यक्रम के दौरान कहा कि कांग्रेस ने 3 दिन के भीतर देश का बंटवारा स्वीकार किया था। बंटवारे के दिन लोग घरों में सो रहे थे और अचानक भागना पड़ा। देश का बंटवारा कांग्रेस, मुस्लिम लीग व कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी ने किया था। जनसंघ संस्थापक डॉ. श्यामाप्रसाद मुखर्जी की बात न माने जाने पर उन्होंने कैबिनेट से इस्तीफा दिया था। इन लोगों ने लाशों से समझौता किया था। देश के बंटवारे के दर्द को भुलाया नहीं जा सकता।
