make room for new emotions
Watch the new trailer for Disney & Pixar's Inside Out 2, only in theaters June 14! #Insideout2
The little voices inside Riley’s head know her inside and out—but next summer, everything changes when Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” introduces a new Emotion: Anxiety. According to director Kelsey Mann, the new character promises to stir things up within headquarters. “Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, might be new to the crew, but she’s not really the type to take a back seat,” said Mann. “That makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds.” A trailer, poster and film stills are now available for what promises to be the feel-good (or feel-everything) film of Summer 2024.
Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, “Inside Out 2” releases only in theaters Summer 2024.

00:06Sadness is in the house!
00:10It's anger!
00:11Let me at him!
00:14We gotta get our mouth guard, people!
00:16Fear!
00:17No, no, that's not ours!
00:18Disgust!
00:19Glad to have her on our team.
00:21Our little girl's growing up so fast.
00:24Ow.
00:25Sorry.
00:27It should be nothing but smooth sailing from...
00:30Hello!
00:31I'm anxiety.
00:32Where can I put my stuff?
00:33A new emotion!
00:35Oh, I'm sorry.
00:36We wanted to make such a good first impression.
00:38What do you mean, we?
00:41I'm envy!
00:43Look at your hair.
00:44Oh yeah, not happening.
00:46That's on we.
00:47On what?
00:49It's what you would call the boredom.
00:53What's your name, big fella?
00:55That's embarrassment.
00:56Welcome to headquarters, embarrassment.
00:59Oh, we're doing a fit.
01:00No, going high.
01:02You got a real sweaty palm there, buddy.
01:07Look, we all have a job to do.
01:08I plan for the future.
01:10You wanna sit with us?
01:11These girls are so cool!
01:13We can't let her know we're excited.
01:14I got this.
01:15Uh, Joy, I'm just curious, maybe I could...
01:18Thank you, not now.
01:19Yeah, yeah.
01:21That's not gonna haunt us for the rest of our lives at all.
01:23Oh, you feel it already!
01:25I know change is scary.
01:26Let's do this.
01:27Hey, Riley!
01:28But we need new friends or we'll be totally alone in high school.
01:31That would be hold in with the new.
01:34Riley's life requires more sophisticated emotions than all of you.
01:37You can't just bottle us up!
01:40We are suppressed emotions!
01:45Let Operation New Riley begin.
01:48You aren't packed yet?
01:50I'm the worst!
01:53Well, that's a preview of the next ten years.
01:56Come on, Riley means us.
01:58Have I ever steered you wrong before?
02:00Many times.
02:05What is that?
02:06It's a sarcasm!
02:07Sarcasm?
02:08Boy, are we so lucky we ran into you guys!
02:11Boy, are we so lucky we ran into you guys!
02:17Wow, those guys are jerks.
