00:00After reading this verse, you must have heard a lot of these names, right?
00:09You know, many years ago, such people have stepped on this earth,
00:13who are still present among us after so many years.
00:16Where are these people?
00:17This is a mystery, but they are here.
00:19This is a truth.
00:20But the question is, who are these people?
00:22And what have they done that they have been living for so many years?
00:26They are among us and we don't even know.
00:28So if you like immortality as a concept, then this video is for you.
00:33Because in this video, we will talk about such people who have literally got a boon from God,
00:40to be immortal, to be alive.
00:52Ashwathama
00:53If there is talk of Mahabharata and there is no mention of Ashwathama,
00:57Guru Drona's son Ashwathama, a Chiranjeevi,
01:00along with being immortal, he was also one of the avatars of Levan Buddha.
01:05Guru Drona wanted a son and that's why he was doing penance.
01:08Because of this, Lord Shiva happily gave Guru Drona a son as a boon
01:13and gave that son the boon of Chiranjeevi's immortality.
01:16And not only that, there was a gem on this child's forehead,
01:19the wearer of which ceased to have any fear from any living beings lower than humans
01:24and was even safe from weapons, from hunger, from diseases.
01:27But when Ashwathama grew up, he went on to become friends with Duryodhana.
01:31And because of this friendship and the hunger to acquire power,
01:35he took the side of Kauravas in the Mahabharata war.
01:38And we all know what happened after that.
01:41Afraid of his emotions, Ashwathama made so many mistakes in the Kurukshetra war
01:45that Lord Krishna snatched the gem from him to punish him.
01:49And he cursed him that his wounds would never heal.
01:52His entire body would become the victim of leprosy.
01:55It will also be covered by pus and ulcers.
01:58Lord Krishna also said that Ashwathama would live his entire life as a patient.
02:03And no one would come to help him.
02:05No one would even provide him food or shelter
02:07because anybody who comes near him will be disgusted of him.
02:10But the most surprising thing is that a few years ago,
02:13a theory emerged in which a doctor from Madhya Pradesh claimed that he has seen Ashwathama.
02:18The doctor said that a few years ago, a patient came to him
02:21who had an unusual wound on his forehead.
02:25He also said that even after so many treatments and medicines, the wound was not healing.
02:29So one day, while doing the check-up, the doctor asked the patient jokingly
02:33that the wound on your forehead is not healing.
02:36Are you Ashwathama?
02:37And that's it. What happened after that was very shocking.
02:40The doctor claims that as soon as he asked this,
02:43that person, that patient disappeared from there.
02:46Not only that, no one from the entire staff saw him go out.
02:49And this is not the only theory.
02:51There are many other theories about Ashwathama.
02:53But you tell me, what do you think?
02:55Would this have happened? No?
02:57Tell me in the comments.
02:58Lord Hanuman.
02:59Just like Ashwathama is one of the legendary characters of Mahabharata,
03:02Lord Hanuman is the greatest warrior of Ramayana.
03:05Lord Hanuman is the true devotee of Lord Ram.
03:07And he was always meant to be with him.
03:09When Ravana abducted Sita Maya and took her to Lanka,
03:12Lord Ram was very worried at that time.
03:14He was in a very miserable space.
03:16Because Lanka was very far away.
03:18And the distance to reach there was very difficult.
03:20But because Lord Hanuman could fly,
03:22he covered this long distance.
03:24And in Ravana's palace, in Ashok Vatika,
03:26he found Sita Maya.
03:28Now after this, there are many theories that tell us
03:30how Lord Hanuman got immortality.
03:33According to some scriptures, it is believed that
03:35as soon as Lord Hanuman found Sita Maya,
03:37he told her that she is the messenger of Lord Ram,
03:39she is his companion.
03:40So out of happiness and gratitude,
03:42Sita Maya gave him the boon of immortality.
03:45Apart from this, when all the characters of Ramayana
03:47attained moksha,
03:49Lord Hanuman requested the gods
03:51to let them live on this earth
03:53as long as Lord Ram's name is being taken on this earth.
03:56That's why even today, if a true devotee
03:58takes Lord Ram's name,
04:00Lord Hanuman is found there.
04:01In fact, it is also said that
04:03whenever there is a Ram Katha on this earth,
04:05Lord Hanuman is the first to come
04:07and the last to go individual lord.
04:10There is another theory that says
04:12that after killing Ravan,
04:14when people asked Lord Hanuman
04:16to prove his loyalty towards Lord Ram,
04:18Lord Hanuman tore his chest
04:20and told everyone that in his heart,
04:22Lord Ram, Sita Maya and Lakshman reside.
04:25After this, seeing Lord Hanuman's love
04:27and loyalty,
04:28Lord Ram blessed him with immortality.
04:30Maharishi Ved Vyas
04:32We celebrate Guru Purnima every year,
04:34but do you know that
04:36Guru Purnima marks the birth anniversary
04:38of Maharishi Ved Vyas?
04:39The son of Mahabharata's author Parashara and Satyavati,
04:42Maharishi Ved Vyas represents
04:44intelligence, wisdom and vision.
04:46And if you translate the word Ved Vyas
04:48into Sanskrit,
04:49it means the one who classified the Vedas.
04:51Ved Vyas ji is considered
04:53to be one of Vishnu's many avatars.
04:55In Vishnu Puran, it is said that
04:57Ved Vyas is a title
04:59that is given to the Veda compiler
05:01in Vishnu avatar in every era.
05:0328 Ved Vyasas have taken birth on this earth
05:06and Maharishi Ved Vyas is at 24th one.
05:09It is believed that Ved Vyas ji
05:11has experienced 3 Yugas.
05:13He was born at the end of the 3rd Yuga.
05:15He witnessed the entire Dwapar Yuga
05:17and also some initial days of Kalyug.
05:20No one knows what happened
05:22to Ved Vyas ji after this.
05:24Some people believe that he never died.
05:26He continued to be immortal.
05:27Some people also believe that
05:29Ved Vyas started living in a small village
05:31in Northern India
05:33due to the violence in the world.
05:35He is still there.
05:37Vibhishan.
05:38You must have heard this saying
05:40that five fingers are not equal.
05:42Let me give you a real life example of this saying.
05:45You know about the two famous brothers
05:47of Ramayana, right?
05:49No, I am not talking about Ram and Lakshman.
05:51I am talking about Ravan and Vibhishan.
05:54The saying I just told you about these two brothers
05:56fits perfectly.
05:58Where one brother was destroyed
06:00due to power, greed and deceit.
06:02The other brother became immortal
06:04due to his goodness and truth.
06:06Vibhishan was Ravan's younger brother.
06:08When Ravan abducted Sitamaya
06:10and brought her to Lanka,
06:12it was Vibhishan who raised his voice
06:14and called this act unethical.
06:16But Ravan did not listen to him.
06:18Eventually, when Vibhishan realized
06:20that truth was going to win in the end,
06:22he helped Ramji.
06:24He saved Sitamaya from Ravan's clutches
06:26along with Ramji and Banerjee.
06:28And he proved that you always
06:30have a choice to make the right decision.
06:32It is said that when all this ended,
06:34then Vibhishan was declared
06:36the king of Lanka.
06:38And he was blessed with immortality
06:40so that he could always guide the people of Lanka
06:42on loyalty, right conduct and dharma.
06:44Pashuram.
06:46Pashuram is Vishnu's 6th avatar.
06:48And he is also considered as one of the most destructive avatars.
06:50Pashuram is considered to be an extremely skilled warrior.
06:52Along with that, he is also the master of
06:54all weapons, shastras and divine weapons.
06:56Not only this, he is also known
06:58by the name of army.
07:00He was born in a Brahmin family and
07:02it is believed that he was born to
07:04wipe out all evil from the world.
07:06But it is believed that Pashuram is immortal
07:08and is still present on our earth.
07:10But why? Because according to Kalki Puran,
07:12when Kalyug was about to end,
07:14Vishnuji would appear in his last avatar,
07:16Kalki Avatar.
07:18And then Pashuram will re-emerge as a martial guru.
07:20And as a martial guru, he will guide
07:22the Kalki Avatar on how to use
07:24astras, shastras and divine weapons.
07:26Because of this, all the evil in the world
07:28will be wiped out. Mahabali,
07:30who is known by the name of Bali, is an
07:32Asura King. And the three worlds
07:34found in Hinduism, i.e. Triloka,
07:36also have a king. After seeing Bali,
07:38Indradev, who is considered as the
07:40King of Devas, developed an unhealthy
07:42arrogance towards Bali in his mind.
07:44Because of this, he went to Vishnuji
07:46and requested him to
07:48subdue Bali.
07:50With no other choice, Vishnuji took the Vamana Avatar
07:52and went to Bali.
07:54After reaching Bali, Vishnuji said
07:56that he will give him the land
07:58that is covered by four steps of his feet.
08:00Now, seeing the size of the Vamana Avatar,
08:02Bali immediately agreed. But he says
08:04that he should not judge the book by its cover.
08:06Here, the same thing happened. Within the three steps,
08:08Vishnuji's Vamana Avatar captured
08:10all three worlds. And after that,
08:12Bali had no option but to surrender.
08:14But according to the word given by Bali,
08:16there was still one step left. So, Vishnuji
08:18asked Bali what to do about this last step.
08:20On this, without even thinking twice,
08:22Bali kneeled down and bowed his head.
08:24Seeing this, Vishnuji was so happy
08:26that he not only banished Bali from the underworld,
08:28but also gave him a boon
08:30of immortality, making him
08:32a Chiranjeevi. By the way,
08:34every year, one day, he comes to the earth
08:36to meet his subject, and that day is
08:38celebrated as Onam. Kripacharya
08:40is one of the most important characters of Mahabharata.
08:42And why not? He taught
08:44the young prince of Mahabharata
08:46warfare and its related techniques.
08:48If I give you some background about Kripacharya,
08:50you'll be shocked to know that
08:52he was not born from a human womb.
08:54Yes, you heard me right. In fact,
08:56his father was born from the semen
08:58on the ground of Sharadwan,
09:00which made him a really special character
09:02throughout the Mahabharata. I mean,
09:04there is no other character in Mahabharata
09:06who is born from extraordinary
09:08methods instead of a human womb.
09:10But what makes Kripacharya
09:12so special? Well, it's
09:14because of his attitude. He
09:16never liked or promoted any
09:18person. He was a very
09:20dignified person. There are many stories
09:22that tell us that Kripacharya knew
09:24that the war on Kauravas
09:26was pointless. But still,
09:28he fulfilled his duties
09:30and took the side of the Kauravas
09:32in the Mahabharata war, because they were
09:34the Kauravas who nurtured Kripacharya
09:36with basic necessities like food,
09:38shelter, etc. Then the question
09:40arises, how did Kripacharya get immortality?
09:42A theory tells us that
09:44seeing Kripacharya's unbiased and impartial
09:46attitude, Lord Krishna gave him
09:48the boon of immortality.
09:50So these were the 7 characters
09:52who became immortal
09:54due to their goodness or evilness.
