00:30Allah SWT reminds us in Al-Quran that we should not ever betray Allah and His Messenger and we should not betray the trust that has been given to us.
00:44This assertion is made so clearly and so firmly. However, what is meant by betrayal to Allah and His Messenger?
00:53How do we betray Allah and His Messenger? And how do we betray the trust that has been given to us?
01:00Wait for the answer in a moment in My Quran Time, Quran, Salat and Infaq.
01:14O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and His Messenger.
01:28O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and His Messenger.
01:46And keep your trusts while you are learning.
02:16How are you ladies and gentlemen at home and our audience in the studio today?
02:21I pray that Allah SWT grants us health, safety, prosperity and always increases our faith so that we are more motivated to get closer to Allah SWT through His Glorious Word.

03:24Alhamdulillah today I am accompanied by Sheikh Al-Qari, Sheikh Al-Qurraq, Ustaz Al-Qari, Al-Hafidh, Sahib Al-Nafas Al-Tawil.
03:35If it is long, it means the one who has a long breath.
03:38MashaAllah, Al-Fadhil, Ustaz Tirmizi. Assalamualaikum Ustaz.
03:41Waalaikumussalam.

03:46I am well, Alhamdulillah.
03:47You are cheerful.
03:48I am not cheerful, Ustaz, because I heard your recitation was too melodious, Ustaz.
03:52Please share a little bit, what song did you use, Ustaz?
03:54MashaAllah, what song was it?
03:56This song is close to our Malay people.
04:00It is close to the Malay rhythm.
04:03If we look at it, there are a lot of Nasheed-Nasheed or Malay rhythm songs from this Taranum song.
04:11That is Taranum.
04:12I am really interested in this Taranum.
04:14Jiharkah?
04:15Jiharkah.
04:16Jiharkah, MashaAllah.
04:18You are right, Ustaz.
04:19I am really interested.
04:20I heard it just now.
04:21I feel like, don't stop.
04:22I want to feel like, Ustaz, don't stop.
04:23Keep going, Ustaz.
04:24Let your mind go to the end.
04:26Do a little bit.
04:27Allah Akbar.
04:28It's okay, Ustaz.
04:30But Alhamdulillah, MashaAllah.
04:31When we say recitation of the Quran, it is recited well.
04:34Sometimes it can permeate the heart.
04:37Sometimes we can cry listening to it.
04:40Allah Akbar.
04:41JazakAllah Khair.
04:42Thank you, Ustaz.
04:43Al-Fadhil, ladies and gentlemen.
04:45Before we go any further,
04:47let's first look at the synopsis for our second verse today.
04:52The first verse for the synopsis is,
04:55Allah's advice is to always be grateful for His favours.
04:59The second verse is in Surah Al-Anfal, verse 27.
05:02It is a prohibition to betray Allah, the Messenger and the commandment given to us.
05:09Ladies and gentlemen,
05:10let's start our session with a short prayer.
05:13Subhanak la'ilmanana illa ma'allam tana
05:16innaka antal alimul hakim
05:18rabbi zidina ilma warzuqna fahma
05:21Allahumma inna nas'aluka ilman nafi'a wa zidina ilma
05:25So, to further bless our knowledge session today,
05:28I would like to invite Al-Fadhil Ustaz.
05:30This time, please read a little bit with the song Ji Harkah.
05:33Ji Harkah.
05:34Yes.
05:35Ustaz, start with Ji Harkah.
05:37Finish it with Ji Harkah.
05:38I have to finish it, right?
05:40Okay, go ahead, Ustaz.
05:41Alhamdulillah, thank you.
05:43Our host and our audience who always cheers us up.
05:48If we want to cheer people up, we have to cheer them up first.
05:51As for us, we have to be patient.
05:53Ya ayyuhalladhina manusbiru wasabiru
05:56If we want to be patient, we have to be patient.
05:58If we are not patient, it is difficult for us to be patient.
06:01Therefore, Alhamdulillah, we are together with Dr. Ma'arif Musa
06:05to understand these two verses together.
06:08Let's not forget about Guru Istiqamah who is always with us.
06:12And today, Alhamdulillah, we are in the studio.
06:14We are delighted again with the presence.
06:16MashaAllah.

06:29Muslimat Masjid Darul Ihsan.
06:31SS15, Subang Jaya.
06:34MashaAllah.
06:35How are you all?
06:37Alhamdulillah.
06:38MashaAllah.
06:39Semangat semua?
06:41Nanti kita ada satu blog yang untuk sama-sama kita baca Quran dan hafazan.
06:45Kena keluarkan suara kuat.
06:47Pastikan suara kita sampai pecah lah.
06:50Television nanti, insyaAllah.
06:52Sampai ke langit, insyaAllah.
06:54Dua ayat yang akan sama-sama kita bacakan.
06:57Saya bersebut ciharkah ni.
06:59Lagu-lagu Melayu bukan nasyid saja.
07:01Lagu-lagu Melayu memang dekat dengan ciharkah.
07:03Hatta orang Arak sendirilah.
07:05Kalau kita biasa dengar Allahirrahmanirrahim.
07:09Banyaklah lagu ciharkah dia.
07:11Antaranya, saya bocorkan.
07:19Lagu apa tu?
07:25Lagu irama dia tu.
07:27Dia suka dengan ciharkah.
07:30Ciharkah ya?
07:33Kalau saya nak belajar ciharkah melalui lagu penyamun tu boleh tak?
07:37Itu kena hati-hati. Boleh.
07:39Untuk kita dapatkan rentak melodi sahaja.
07:42Tapi bila kita nak baca Quran, tak boleh lah.
07:47Itu rosak Quran.
07:49Kita mesti lagu itu mengikut Quran.
07:52Jangan Quran ikut lagu.
07:54Kita ambil lagu ini, kita pasang pada Quran.
07:57Bahkan akan hilang.
07:59Elemen tadabbur akan hilang.
08:01Pakat gelak semua.
08:03Kena jaga-jaga.
08:05Narik.
08:06Alhamdulillah.
08:08Kita teruskan.
08:09Tak tahulah jadi ke tidak.
08:10Ciharkah.
08:11Kita cakap banyak.
08:12Dua ayat.
08:1326 dan juga 27.
08:57Alhamdulillah.
09:27Surah Al-Quran.
09:51Dan ingatlah ketika kamu para muhajirin masih sedikit tertindas di bumi Mekah
09:55dan kamu takutkan orang-orang Mekah akan menculikmu,
09:58maka dia memberi kamu tempat menetap di bumi Madinah
10:01dan dijadikannya kamu kuat dengan pertolongannya
10:04dan diberikan kamu rezeki yang baik
10:06agar kamu bersyukur.
10:07Wahai orang-orang yang beriman,
10:09janganlah kamu mengkhianati Allah dan Rasul
10:11dan janganlah juga kamu mengkhianati amanah yang dipercayakan kepadamu
10:15sedangkan kamu mengetahui.
10:17Tuan-tuan dan puan-puan dirahmati Allah SWT.
10:20Peringatan daripada Allah SWT ini datangnya selepas apa?
10:24Selepas penceritaan tentang peperangan badar.
11:10Kita merasakan seolah-olah kita hebat.
11:12Kita merasakan seolah-olah strategi kita berjaya.
11:48Peringatan-peringatan ini diberikan tak kala kita sedang merasai kejayaan
11:52agar kita rendahkan diri kita, menyadari.
11:54Kejayaan itu adalah daripada Allah SWT.
11:57Seterusnya, Allah berbicara pada ayat yang ke-26

17:42تَنْتُمْ قَلِيلٌ
17:50The Prophet SAW, in the 6th year after the Prophet SAW ascended to heaven,
17:58he only had about 60 followers.
18:0460 followers. What can be done with 60 followers?
18:09So, at that time, they were few.
18:14They were few and they were a very weak group.
18:19They were exposed to any danger that came to them.
18:24That is why, if we look at the history of Islam,
18:28at the very beginning of Islam,
18:33there were many companions of the Prophet SAW who were tortured by the polytheists.
18:40We can see how Abu Bakr RA defended the Prophet SAW.
18:46He was beaten until he lost consciousness.
18:51But, just as soon as Abu Bakr RA woke up,
18:55the first question that was asked was,
18:57how was the Prophet SAW?
19:01We can see how Zubair ibn al-Awwam was tied up.
19:05He was tied up and he was smothered.
19:09Ladies and gentlemen, if we live under the smell of smoke,
19:12we will find it difficult to breathe.
19:14They had smothered Zubair ibn al-Awwam
19:17and while saying,
19:19do you want to return to their religion,
19:21which is the original religion,
19:23Zubair ibn al-Awwam remained firm in the religion of Islam.
19:27We can see how Khalid ibn Said was tied up
19:31and left to starve for days.
19:34We can see how Bilal ibn Rabah,
19:37a very famous story that all our children learn,
19:40how he was dragged on top of a very hot sand field
19:44and left on top of a very hot rock
19:46and was smothered with other rocks on top of him
19:49just because he wanted to force them to return to their original religion,
19:54which is the religion of disbelief.
19:56We can also see how the Prophet SAW himself,
20:03how the Prophet SAW himself was hurt
20:06when the Prophet SAW was performing his prayer.
20:10He was dragged from behind
20:12until he was tortured by the Prophet SAW.
20:15This is what we call,
20:19a situation where the Muslim army is weak.
20:22We cannot do anything.
20:25Some of the companions were also
20:28stabbed from behind.
20:32Some were killed.
20:34So, we are at a stage of
20:38Just remember,
20:39this verse was revealed after the battle of Badr.
20:43So, a situation where we have seen success,
20:46we have been able to repay
20:48the evil that they have done to us.
20:50We have been able to kill
20:52the so-called oppressors.
20:55So, Allah SWT reminds us
20:57that in the past, you were in a weak state.
21:01You were afraid that from left and right,
21:05people might kidnap you and torture you.
21:09Without being questioned.
21:11When bin Rabah was tortured,
21:13there were many people passing by,
21:15but no one could save him
21:17other than Abu Bakr.
21:20So, this group was always in a state of fear.
21:24Then came Allah's help.
21:27Then Allah SWT ordered the Muslims to migrate.
21:31To where?
21:32To the land of Madinah.
21:33Because that was the beginning
21:35of the domination of the Muslims.
21:38That was the place where Islam would spread widely.
21:41That was where the power of Islam would rise.
21:50Allah SWT allowed them to settle in the land of Madinah.
21:54And Allah SWT gave them His help.
21:59If we look at the battle of Badar,
22:01how Allah SWT sent angels from the heavens
22:05to help the Muslim army.
22:08Allah SWT gave to the Prophet SAW
22:12his followers,
22:13among whom were war experts.
22:17Allah SWT sent to the Prophet SAW
22:19companions whose spirit of struggle
22:21did not fade easily.
22:23Even though they were facing such a large army.
22:29Because of that,
22:30Nasrid was added,
22:32returned to Allah.
22:34Nasrihi,
22:35Damir,
22:36was returned to Allah.
22:38Meaning, this help was from Allah.
22:40And if that help came from Allah SWT,
22:44then no one could defeat the Muslim army.
22:48And Allah SWT has given sustenance to the Muslims
22:55from a good sustenance.
22:58A good crop.
23:00And if we look at the history of Islam,
23:05poverty,
23:07and the Muslims,
23:08we see that they are related to each other.
23:11If we read in the Bible,
23:15the Prophet SAW was told that
23:17he was allowed to leave the house
23:19because he was hungry.
23:22He was allowed to meet Abu Bakar
23:24and asked him.
23:25He also left the house.
23:26The Prophet SAW asked Abu Bakar,
23:28why did you leave the house?
23:30He was hungry.
23:31He was looking for food.
23:32Umar RA,
23:34the same thing.
23:35He met the Prophet SAW.
23:36The Prophet asked,
23:37why did you leave?
23:38Because he was hungry.
23:39So, ladies and gentlemen,
23:41the struggle of Islam is not all
23:43sweet.
23:45The struggle of Islam,
23:47the Prophet SAW was hungry.
23:49What was the struggle for?
23:50To convey the religion to us.
23:53To save us all from the fire of hell
23:56in the dark of the hereafter.
23:58So,
23:59then Allah SWT gives sustenance
24:02that overflows the soul
24:03to the Muslims on earth.
24:05Ladies and gentlemen,
24:08may Allah SWT have mercy on us.
24:10Before we finish the interpretation of this verse,
24:12let us first look at the word
24:14which is our choice today.
24:17Ladies and gentlemen,
24:18our word is
24:20khanah.
24:22The word khanah,
24:23which is treason,
24:24has been mentioned in the 27th verse.
24:29This word has been mentioned 16 times
24:31in the Quran.
24:32The Surah that contains this word,
24:34among them is
24:35Surah Al-Ma'idah, the 13th verse,
24:37Surah Yusuf, the 52nd verse,
24:39and also
24:40Surah Al-Tahrim, the 10th verse.
24:44This is what we call treason.
24:46khanah yakhunu
24:48In this verse, Allah SWT says
24:50la takhunu Allah wa'l-rasul
24:53wa takhunu amanatikum
24:55Do not betray Allah and His Messenger
25:00and do not betray the trust
25:03entrusted to you
25:05while you know.
25:07What does this interpretation mean?
25:09We will complete the interpretation
25:10in the 26th verse shortly.
25:12Ladies and gentlemen,
25:13do not go anywhere.
25:14My Quran Time,
25:15Quran, Salat and Ifaat.
25:39Al-Ma'idah
26:09O Allah
26:24Al-Ma'idah
26:37Al-Tahrim
26:49One thing,
26:50I will go back to the point
26:51that the professor mentioned.
26:53We realise that we can do that
26:55in Ramadan.
26:57That is one of the clues for me.
26:59Professor, please give us some advice.
27:01This is actually not,
27:03this is a common problem
27:05that we face
27:07and we pay attention to our friends.
27:09For example,
27:10when I was studying,
27:12I had a friend who was fasting.
27:14He was fasting.
27:15But in Ramadan,
27:17he can stop.
27:18It means that he can actually stop.
27:20He does not even break his fast.
27:21There are people who break their fast
27:23but they do not break their fast.
27:25They can stop in Ramadan.
27:27After Ramadan,
27:28they start their fast again.
27:30I think this is the same
27:31with other things.
27:32There are people
27:33who like to watch movies
27:35or watch bad things.
27:37But, in Ramadan,
27:38they can stop.
27:39This shows that,
27:40firstly,
27:41they have the strength
27:42to do those things.
27:44However,
27:45at the same time,
27:46they actually need
27:47the support system.
27:49And make it for us
27:51two proofs,
27:55O Lord of the worlds.
28:19In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
28:49Alhamdulillah,
29:01we are back
29:02with My Quran Time.
29:03Quran, Salat, and Ifaat.
29:05Alhamdulillah,
29:06we were able to listen
29:09to the explanation
29:10and explanation
29:11of the words
29:12of Dr. Muhammad Arif Musa
29:13just now.
29:14And we gave the opportunity
29:16for the doctor to rest for a while.
29:17As usual,
29:18we will go a little deeper
29:21and perfect some of the
29:23rules of Tajweed
29:25in the verses
29:26that we have read
29:27and discussed
29:28just now.
29:29That is in the 26th verse.
29:31We can focus
29:33in the 26th verse
29:34on some of the words
29:36that we feel
29:37are important
29:38for us to know
29:39the mistakes
29:41or the common mistakes
29:43that are done
29:44by the reciters of the Quran.
29:46As usual,
29:47I would like to encourage
29:49all of you
29:50who are here today.
29:51Once again,
29:52we welcome
29:53the Muslims
29:54from Darul Ihsan Mosque,
29:56SS15,
29:57Subang Jaya.
29:58Hopefully,
29:59all of us
30:00will get
30:01the journey
30:02that we call
30:03the Quran,
30:04inshallah.
30:05Alright,
30:06let us see
30:07the first word.
30:09وَذْكُرُوا
30:10What is the first verse?
30:11The 26th verse.
30:28The same.
30:29One, two, start.
30:30وَذْكُرُوا إِذْ أَنْتُمْ
30:37One more time.
30:38A little more spirit.
30:39وَذْكُرُوا إِذْ أَنْتُمْ
30:45There are a few laws there.
30:47The first one is the letter م
30:50which meets the letter ح
30:53in two words.
30:55What is its law?
30:57مَعْ جَئِزْ مُنْفَصِل
31:02So, we read it
31:04with the number 4
31:05or 5 letters.
31:06Okay.
31:07So, we have to
31:10lengthen the vowel sound.
31:12وَذْكُرُوا
31:15Our voice from the throat.
31:17The airway from the throat
31:19to the mouth
31:21covers the throat.
31:22That's the sound.
31:23وُو
31:24That long sound.
31:254 or 5 letters.
31:27Lengthen the sound.
31:28Don't hold it.
31:29وَذْكُرُوا
31:31That's not right.
31:32The sound is not in the right place.
31:35Or
31:36وَذْكُرُوا
31:38That's too much.
31:39It's too nasal.
31:40وَذْكُرُوا
31:42That's not right either.
31:44It's the sound of the throat.
31:46Where is the mouth?
31:48Where is the throat?
31:50The throat covers the throat,
31:52the throat and the mouth.
31:53وَذْكُرُوا
31:56If it's too long,
31:57don't hold it.
31:58Just count it.
31:59Okay.
32:00You can't cut the frame
32:02if it's too long.
32:03Okay.
32:04Then,
32:05meet Hamzah from below.
32:07You have to be careful.
32:08Why?
32:09In the chapter on Hamzah,
32:10I've mentioned that
32:11Hamzah is a special chapter.
32:13Because in the knowledge of Quran,
32:15it's discussed specifically
32:16about Hamzah.
32:17How is Hamzah?
32:19How is it read?
32:20Because there are many ways
32:22to read Hamzah.
32:23Because there are many ways
32:25to read Hamzah.
32:26That's where the most
32:28mistakes are made
32:29to the reader.
32:30For example,
32:31here
32:32وَذْكُرُوا
32:33We've opened our mouths
32:34because we're saying
32:35the letter R
32:36in front
32:37with a dead vowel.
32:38وَذْكُرُوا
32:41وِذْ
32:42It's not clear.
32:43Hamzah from below.
32:44It's still affected by the mouth.
32:46When it's the mouth,
32:47it's close to the letter W
32:48because we've opened our mouths.
32:50In front, it's W.
32:51وَذْكُرُوا
32:53وِذْ
32:54We don't want to say
32:55I and W.
32:57Because we're already
32:58in the letter M
32:59in front.
33:00So,
33:01press the voice.
33:02The intonation of the voice.
33:03The voice is pressed a little.
33:05This is not a song anymore.
33:06This is a voice.
33:07اِذْ
33:08It's pressed
33:09so that Hamzah
33:10has a clear intonation.
33:11وَذْكُرُوا
33:14اِذْ
33:15اَنْتُمْ
33:17One, two, start.
33:18وَذْكُرُوا
33:22اِذْ
33:23اَنْتُمْ
33:25We want it clear.
33:26Okay?
33:27We don't want
33:28وَذْكُرُوا
33:29اِذْ
33:30اَنْتُمْ
33:31اِذْ
33:32We don't want it like that.
33:33Okay?
33:34Then,
33:35ذَا مَتِي
33:36meets
33:37with
33:38Hamzah.
33:39Which we read
33:40clearly
33:41ذا مَتِي.
33:42اِذْ
33:43اَنْتُمْ
33:44اِذْ
33:45اَنْتُمْ
33:46اِذْ
33:47اَنْتُمْ
33:48اِذْ
33:49اَنْتُمْ
33:50وَذْكُرُوا
33:51اِذْ
33:52اَنْتُمْ
33:53وَذْكُرُوا
33:54اِذْ
33:55اَنْتُمْ
33:56وَذْ
33:57اَنْتُمْ
33:58اِذْ
33:59وَذْكُرُوا
34:00اِذْ
34:01اَنْتُمْ
34:02وَذْكُرُوا
34:03اِذْ
34:04اَنْتُمْ
34:05PAUL
34:29a lot of people do it wrongly
34:31so we read according to our rewaya
34:33we don't read in saktah
34:35we read in mat
34:37and we don't read in saktah
34:39so we explain the hamzah
34:41so why do we read it in saktah
34:43some read it in tasheeh
34:45to make it easier
34:47to read the hamzah
34:49so we be careful

35:35why do I give an example
35:37there is a high voice
35:39there is a low voice
35:41because sometimes
35:43when our voice is not comfortable
35:45it is easy for us
35:47to make a mistake
35:49we read too low
35:51who doesn't hear
35:53mustada'afoon fil ard
35:55so the letters are not beautiful
35:57even if it is too high
35:59we cannot read it

36:05not too high

39:09So, that is the way for us to say Zauq Pada Bacaan and so on.
39:14So, today, I am also inspired when Dr. Arief said,
39:17start with Jiharkah, finish with Jiharkah.
39:19Until the end, I am Jiharkah today.
39:21But, that is it.
39:22Hopefully, we can all clean up the mention of Al-Quran letters.
39:27Sometimes, through the intonation of our voice,
39:31the pressure of the voice.
39:32It is not related to the melodic melody.
39:34The pressure of our voice to explain and express
39:37each and every letter of Al-Quran.
39:39So, until next time, we will take a break for a while.
39:42This is My Quran Time.
39:43Quran Salat Infah.
40:07Al-Quran Al-Fatiha.
40:37Al-Quran Al-Fatiha.
40:56Al-Quran Al-Fatiha.
41:26Al-Quran Al-Fatiha.
41:56Al-Quran Al-Fatiha.
42:18Al-Quran Al-Fatiha.
42:43Alhamdulillah.
42:44We are back in My Quran Time.
42:46Quran Salat Infah.
42:48Alhamdulillah.
42:49You have been greeted with the recitation in Jiharkah.
42:54I hope you will follow the recitation.
42:57So that it does not lead to Jiharkah.
43:01Afraid of Jiharkah.
43:02Jiharkah is also a problem.
43:04So, let the Jiharkah comma finish.
43:07Alhamdulillah.
43:09BismillahirRahmanirRahim.
43:10Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
43:11Before the session when we have explained the 26th verse,
43:16there is something that I have not touched yet.
43:19That is the last part of the 26th verse.
43:23If we look at the 26th verse,
43:25Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says,
43:28And remember when you, O you who have emigrated,
43:31were still a few,
43:32oppressed in the land of Mecca,
43:34and you feared that the people of Mecca would kidnap you,
43:37then He gave you a place in Madinah,
43:39and made you strong with His help,
43:42and gave you a good provision,
43:45that you may be grateful.
43:47So, we see,
43:48Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has given a lot of reminders.
43:50What is it for, ladies and gentlemen?
43:52It is for the people to show their gratitude to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
43:58So, what does it mean to be grateful?
44:00First of all, it is for us to acknowledge
44:02that the victory that we are experiencing now,
44:07our security in the land of Madinah,
44:09the provision that we have been given,
44:11the soul that is in our hands,
44:13all of it is a gift from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
44:17We mention it in our hearts,
44:19we acknowledge it in our hearts,
44:20we mention it in our tongues,
44:22Alhamdulillah,
44:23and we also use our provision,
44:26our strength,
44:27our food,
44:28our children,
44:30all of it on the path of obedience to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
44:35This is what is meant by being grateful.
44:37It is not just being grateful,
44:39we say Alhamdulillah,
44:40but we use that provision in our actions.
44:43That is not the real gratitude,
44:45but the real gratitude,
44:47when we use the provision that we have today,
44:51like how you are using the provision of time now,
44:54the time that is given to you,
44:55sometimes we forget that it is a provision,
44:57but actually you are using that provision for what?
45:00To deepen the words of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
45:04This is one way to show a very good act of gratitude,
45:07and remember the words of Allah,
45:09وَقَلِلُمْ مِنْ عِبَادِيَ الْشَّكُورِ
45:11and very few of my servants are truly grateful.
45:16So, ladies and gentlemen,
45:17let us be among these few groups,
45:19so that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala grants us the highest heaven.
45:24Ladies and gentlemen,
45:25may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala have mercy on us,
45:26immediately after that,
45:28after Allah reminds us,
45:30so that we show gratitude to Him,
45:32Allah reminds us of one very important thing.
45:39But before that,
45:40I would like to ask Al-Fadhil Ustaz
45:42to read this verse first.
45:44Please go ahead, Ustaz.
45:45Insha'Allah.
45:46We will read a bit more,
45:47the 20th verse,
45:487th verse.
45:55What is this verse about?
45:56It is about treason.
45:58Yes, treason.
46:09O you who have believed,
46:17do not betray Allah and His Messenger.
46:31O you who have believed,
46:41do not betray Allah and His Messenger.
46:50Do not betray Allah and His Messenger.
47:17Ladies and gentlemen,
47:18may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala have mercy on us,
47:19Allah's message in this verse is
47:21so that we do not betray Allah and His Messenger.
47:25Some of the interpreters say
47:28the story where they interpret this verse,
47:31they refer to the story of Abu Lubabah.
47:34Where Abu Lubabah,
47:35at one time,
47:37during the time of Bani Quraizah,
47:39had lost.
47:41Meaning,
47:42the Muslim army had besieged and controlled them.
47:45At that time,
47:46Abu Lubabah submitted to a judge,
47:49a companion,
47:50Sa'ad ibn Mu'adh.
47:51But before they agreed to submit to the judge,
47:55Sa'ad ibn Mu'adh,
47:56they asked Abu Lubabah,
47:58Abu Lubabah,
47:59how will the judge,
48:00or the punishment,
48:01be dealt with by Sa'ad ibn Mu'adh?
48:03At that time,
48:04Abu Lubabah only showed this sign.
48:08What does it mean?
48:09It means,
48:10Sa'ad ibn Mu'adh will impose death penalty.
48:13Then,
48:14Abu Lubabah realized his mistake.
48:16He felt,
48:17O Allah,
48:18I have betrayed Allah and His Messenger.
48:20Abu Lubabah should not have shown that sign
48:24to the Jews of Bani Quraizah.
48:27So, what did Abu Lubabah do?
48:29He tied himself to a pole at Masjid Nabawi
48:33and he said that
48:35he did not want to be released,
48:37but only to be forgiven
48:39by Allah and His Messenger.
48:41After a few days,
48:43the Prophet s.a.w. ordered
48:46to untie Abu Lubabah.
48:49However, Abu Lubabah refused to be untied
48:51by anyone other than
48:53the noble hand of the Prophet s.a.w.
48:56Then, the Prophet s.a.w.
48:58untied Abu Lubabah.
49:00This story,
49:01even though it was narrated by the interpreters,
49:03however,
49:04there is a little discussion
49:06among the scholars.
49:07It just explains to us
49:09how the companions
49:11of the Prophet s.a.w.
49:13were very sensitive
49:15to the treachery
49:17of Allah and His Messenger.
49:19Similarly, the story of Hatib ibn Abi Baltah
49:21which is narrated in As-Sahihain,
49:23how he tried
49:25to reveal the secret
49:27of the Prophet s.a.w.'s strategy
49:29to open the city of Mecca.
49:31However,
49:33Allah s.w.t.
49:35forgave him
49:37because he was among
49:39the people of Badr.
49:41This story is quite long
49:43and because of the time constraint,
49:45I cannot share it with you.
49:47However, the important point
49:49that we need to take here is
49:51if this verse refers to the treachery
49:53of Allah and His Messenger,
49:55we can understand
49:57if it happened during the time
49:59of the Prophet s.a.w.
50:01However, how did the treachery
50:03of Allah and His Messenger
50:05happen today?
50:07In other words,
50:09we leave the obligation
50:11of Allah s.w.t.
50:13and we break the prohibitions
50:15of Allah s.w.t.
50:17Because, remember,
50:19when we say the shahadah,
50:21it is like a promise
50:23that we will carry out Allah's command
50:25and leave the prohibitions.
50:27However, when we carry out
50:29and leave Allah's command,
50:31we do not pay the prayer,
50:33we do not pay the zakat,
50:35we do not pay the zakat.
50:37All of these are treachery.
50:39We are treacherous of Allah.
50:41How can we be treacherous of His Messenger?
50:43When we do not follow the sunnah
50:45of the Prophet s.a.w.,
50:47we leave the sunnah of the Prophet s.a.w.
50:49He has taught us
50:51a lot of guidance in our lives,
50:53from the individual life
50:55to the community life,
50:57how we are as workers,
50:59how we are as children,
51:01how we are as fathers.
51:03This is the guidance given by the Prophet s.a.w.
51:05However, when we leave all of these sunnahs,
51:07it is considered as a treachery
51:09to the Messenger of Allah s.a.w.
51:13And lastly,
51:15do not betray
51:17the trusts that have been
51:19entrusted to you.
51:21Trusts in the sense of trust
51:23between us.
51:25Sometimes we have a trust,
51:27we entrust it to be protected,
51:29so let us protect that trust.
51:31We entrust our trust to people,
51:33people tell us stories,
51:35we tell stories to others,
51:37our trust when we work,
51:39our trust as a child,
51:41our trust as a mother,
51:43our trust in paying debts,
51:45that is the biggest problem,
51:47paying debts.
51:49So, we need to protect all of these.
51:51وَأَن تُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
51:53In your situation, know that
51:55the sins, the scholars say,
51:57that one sin will be affected,
51:59when there are two things.
52:01The first is al-qasdu,
52:03where we intend to commit that sin,
52:05not on purpose,
52:07the second is al-ilmu,
52:09where we know,
52:11we know that it is a sin,
52:13and we commit it.
52:15Here Allah s.w.t says,
52:17وَأَن تُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
