00:05THOSE WHO WAIT WIN THE BATTLE
00:07On the island of Outset, the tale about the Hero of Time was traditionally told as a bedtime
00:12story.
00:14It was a custom that when the boys of the island come of age, becoming the age of the
00:18hero himself, they are to be clothed in green, given swords and encouraged to cast down evil
00:24just like the great hero.
00:27Link was a boy on the island that was soon to be coming of age.
00:31He didn't feel much for the green clothes, but the sword fighting he couldn't wait for.
00:35That's enough, Link, Orca said, lowering his staff.
00:39The boy lowered his sword.
00:41Orca was one of the two old brothers that lived on the island.
00:45Sturgeon was his older brother, who was very smart and a bookworm.
00:50Orca was a swordsmaster, who taught all the boys who come of age how to use the sword.
00:55So since Link was coming of age soon, Orca was now teaching him.
01:00So, how did I do?
01:02Link asked eagerly.
01:03The old man sighed deeply.
01:05Well, Link, I still feel the unsteadiness of your hand.
01:08I'm afraid that you'll have to get more comfortable with the blade before I can give you one.
01:13The blond boy's face fell in disappointment.
01:15Oh, come on, Orca, I'm ready for one, Link complained.
01:20Don't argue, Link, you haven't even come of age yet, the old man scolded softly.
01:25You have plenty of time to get better with the sword.
01:28If I gave you one now, then you could hurt someone, or maybe even yourself.
01:33Orca?
01:34Sturgeon's loud, angry voice came through the floorboards on the ceiling.
01:38A sigh of frustration escaped Orca's lips.
01:42Sometimes his older brother could act like such a baby.
01:44I better go deal with this, go put the sword back in my cupboard, Link.
01:49Link sighed in deep disappointment as he made his way toward the sword cupboard.
01:54Orca doesn't know what he's talking about, I couldn't get any better with the sword if
01:57I practiced for a hundred years.
02:00I'm definitely ready for a sword.
02:02After thinking this all through, Link had a very foolish idea.
02:07He stared at the open sword cupboard.
02:09There were so many different blades.
02:11Orca has so many, he'd never miss one.
02:14The boy foolishly decided to go with his instinct.
02:17He closed the cupboard without putting the sword back.
02:20It worked out perfectly, Orca wasn't even paying attention to him, too busy yelling
02:25at his brother.
02:26So Link easily passed him without being noticed.
02:30When Orca was finished with Sturgeon, he turned back to look for the boy.
02:34Link?
02:35he called looking around.
02:36When he didn't see the blonde anywhere, he figured that he was already gone and went
02:40back into his house.
02:42Link was running through the grass, slicing the blades clean off.
02:47He had never felt so free before, or so powerful.
02:50I am the hero of time, and I will cast down all evil.
02:54Fear me dark creatures, he called, swinging the sword around.
02:58What are you doing, big brother?
03:00a voice asked behind him.
03:02The boy gasped in surprise, thinking that he got caught.
03:06He swung around to see who it was, and a sigh of relief fell from his mouth, as it was only
03:11his little sister Aril.
03:13I'm practicing, to fight evil, he replied with a cocky smile.
03:18Aril gapped at him, looking very impressed.
03:20Orca gave you a sword?
03:22That's so cool, big brother.
03:25Um, yeah, yeah he gave me my first sword.
03:29You wanna see how good I am?
03:31Link asked looking quite smug.
03:33The girl nodded her head vigorously.
03:35Yes please.
03:36She was beaming at him.
03:38Link smirked and swished his sword around in different formations.
03:42Then he chopped at some tree branches, bushes and grass.
03:46Aril clapped and cheered for him.
03:47Yay yay, way to go big brother, great job.
03:51What happened next still gave Link nightmares from time to time.
03:56How much worse it could have been, the gods must have been smiling on him at that time.
04:01He wasn't really watching how close he was getting to his little sister.
04:04He swung it the wrong way and it sliced across the girl's forearm, making a deep cut.
04:10Ouch!
04:11Aril cried out falling onto her backside.
04:13Her hand flew to the wound, and blood immediately flowed from the gash, seeping right through
04:18her fingers.
04:20She looked down at the cut, and after seeing all the blood she got scared and let out a
04:25loud scream and tears burst from her eyes.
04:28Aril?
04:29Oh no, what have I done?
04:32Link looked appalled at himself, dropping the sword and running toward his sister.
04:36The girl held her arm in a death grip and screamed and cried out loudly.
04:41It wasn't long before someone was drawn to the noise.
04:45Subelle dropped her pot she was carrying and ran over to them.
04:48Link, what happened? she asked urgently.
04:51I, I? he stuttered, not sure what to say.
04:56Subelle didn't wait for his response, she quickly picked up Aril and ran over to Link's
05:00house.
05:01Link quickly picked up the sword and followed them.
05:04Grandma heard her granddaughter's cry and was on her way to find out what all the commotion
05:08was, her face was lined with worry.
05:11She gasped when they came up to her.
05:13Oh my grandbaby!
05:15What happened to her?
05:17The bad part about living on a small island is that nothing is kept a secret.
05:22Pretty much everyone on the island came over to find out what the loud wailing was for,
05:26including Orca.
05:27Abe, the pig herder, came up to examine the girl's arm.
05:32It's just a small gash, he announced after a moment.
05:35Can be fixed very easily, he said specifically to Aril to help calm her down.
05:40It seemed to work.
05:42The size of the wound and all the blood scared her more than the pain.
05:46If you let me grandma, I'll take her back to my house and get her fixed up, Abe said
05:49to grandmother.
05:51The old woman nodded her head and Abe gently lifted the blonde girl into his arms and carried
05:55her away.
05:57All right everyone, show's over, Sturgeon called out and shooed everyone away, until
06:02all that was left was Link, Grandma, Subelle, and Orca.
06:06Link, what happened?
06:08Grandma asked, turning toward the boy.
06:11The blonde boy quickly hid the sword behind his back, but it was no use.
06:16He knew Orca had seen it by the way he was glaring at him.
06:19Um, while I was showing Aril the sword.
06:21And where did you get a sword?
06:23Orca asked.
06:25Link hung his head in shame.
06:26Aye, I stole it from your cupboard.
06:29So you deliberately took a sword, after I told you that you weren't ready for one,
06:33and now look what happened.
06:36You're lucky that's all that happened, you could have killed her.
06:38Orca scolded harshly.
06:40Link looked about ready to cry.
06:42It didn't help when he heard his grandmother's disappointed voice.
06:45Oh Link, how could you, what am I to do with you?
06:49Oh don't worry Grandma, I'll deal with him myself, Orca said, grabbing Link by the arm
06:55and talking him back to his house.
06:57Oh my poor grandbabies, Grandma said tearfully.
07:01Come on Grandmother, you should go sit down, Subelle suggested and helped the woman back
07:06into the house.
07:07Don't worry, they'll both be okay.
07:09The most you need to worry about Link is making sure that he sleeps on his stomach tonight.
07:15Orca dragged Link by the arm into his house, closed and locked the door.
07:20Link looked as miserable as one would expect.
07:22Orca please don't, I'm sorry.
07:24He pleaded weakly, but knew that he deserved this, so he didn't struggle any.
07:29The old swordsman brought him over to his bed, sat down on top of it, then pulled the
07:34boy over his lap.
07:36He saw no sense in a lecture since he pretty much already gave it to him, so he went straight
07:41to the punishment.
07:43Orca started by landing hard smacks to the seat of Link's pants with his hand.
07:49Link cried out at the first hit, but then clenched his teeth together to stop other
07:53cries from falling from his lips.
07:56He was way too old to cry over a spanking.
07:59He felt the stinging prickle of tears come to his eyes after a few other spanks.
08:05Orca was hitting really hard.
08:06The boy locked his eyelids together to stop the tears, but after a minute the tears started
08:11to leak out of his closed eyelids.
08:14Orca then took the hem of Link's orange pants and pulled them down to his knees.
08:18This was followed by his underwear also, revealing his pink bottom cheeks.
08:23No Orca please, Link begged while kicking his feet mildly.
08:27The older male landed harsh spanks in a very fast motion.
08:31This caused Link's eyes to fly open and let the suppressed tears fall from his eyes and
08:36slide down his cheeks.
08:39This started the chain reaction.
08:40He was soon wailing, sobbing harshly, and begging for Orca to stop.
08:45No, Link, you and I both know that you deserve this, Orca stated, then pulled a belt down
08:51from where it hung on the ceiling.
08:54Link looked over his holder, wondering why Orca stopped, and could only hope that it
08:59was over.
09:01But he saw the belt, and knew that the worst hadn't even been dealt yet.
09:06This caused him to scream out loudly, and when the belt struck across his rear, the
09:10boy squealed out loudly.
09:13Orca dealt twenty licks with the belt, then pulled the blonde into a hug.
09:18Link cried into the old man's bare chest, while he rubbed soft soothing circles over
09:22his back.
09:25After a few minutes Link calmed down, and Orca stood him on his feet.
09:30He wobbled a little, but managed to stay up.
09:33He brought up his hand to wipe away the stray tears on his cheeks, then bent over to pull
09:37up his clothes.
09:38I'm sorry, Link said.
09:40It's alright my boy, Orca said, patting the boy on his back.
09:44I understand you're eager to get your sword, but you must not go too fast.
09:49The man that waits for his weapon wins the battle.
09:52Thanks Orca, I promise to never do that again.
09:56I'll wait for my sword, Link said humbly.
09:59Orca smiled warmly and patted the boy's head.
10:02Good boy!
10:03Then he pulled him into a hug.
