00:00On the occasion of the war, Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed gave some money to a good poet who was reciting Rizziya Ashar.
00:09When Hazrat Umar Farooq was informed of this, he wrote to him,
00:13that if you have given this money from the treasury of the state, then this is treachery and you are being deprived of it.
00:19Arshad Nadeem Sahib brought a gold medal for Pakistan, which is a very good thing.
00:23And the Pakistani rulers, Maryam Nawaz announced 10 crores and Murtaza Wahab announced 5 crores.
00:29And there have been other announcements as well.
00:31The question is, are you giving this money from your pocket or from the treasury of the government?
00:36If you are giving it from the treasury of the government, then have you taken permission from the public?
00:41I am raising this question because 65% of Pakistan's total tax is collected from indirect taxes.
00:48And indirect taxes are those that are taken by the rich and poor without distinction.
00:52Even if someone is eligible for Zakat and is a Sharia Fakir, he is paying these taxes regularly.
00:59Whenever he buys something, he is paying taxes.
01:02So have you taken permission from all these poor people?
