It's been a great time for double features, what with 2023's Barbie-meets-Oppenheimer phenomenon and the recent cinematic coupling of Wicked Part 1 and Moana 2 (a.k.a. "Theater Kid Barbenheimer"). Sydney Sweeney wants to keep the multi-title movie events going with a pair of her theatrical releases.

While sitting down for a recent interview with CinemaBlend Managing Editor Sean O'Connell alongside her Madame Web castmates Isabela Merced and Celeste O'Connor, Sweeney—who plays Julia Cornwall/Spider-Woman in the Spider-Verse superhero thriller—was asked which of her movies she'd recommend couples go see on Valentine's Day: Madame Web or her recent rom-com with Glen Powell, Anyone but You.

00:00Hi! We like your shirt.
00:02Thank you very much.
00:04I'm very on brand.
00:06Yes. Posters in the back and everything.
00:08I'm like a huge Spider-Man geek.
00:12It's embarrassing.
00:14Is that Doc Ock poster in the back?
00:16It is. That's a No Way Home
00:18poster that I took from my
00:20local multiplex without them knowing it.
00:22Now you just told them.
00:24I love that. I'm obsessed with that.
00:26I'm gonna get a Madame Web one for right here.
00:28Maybe Sony
00:30will send me one so I don't have to put myself
00:32in danger.
00:34Sydney, if a couple is going out
00:36for Valentine's Day and they are arguing
00:38over Madame Web or anyone
00:40but you, how are you breaking that tie?
00:42I think you should have a double feature.
00:44Which one do they see first?
00:46Ooh.
00:48Madame Web
00:50first. Have a good ground
00:52experience, watch some people bond,
00:54figure out who they are and unlock their
00:56potential powers, then go
00:58laugh, cry, and dance
01:00on your way out.
