00:00Come on Laila, let's do some ball juggling.
00:13Not too loud Laith, you'll disturb the neighbours.
00:16Ok, I'll go first.
00:201, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.
00:28Ok, your turn.
00:341, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
00:42Honey, look what you made me do you naughty cat.
00:46It's ok Laila, you can have another turn.
00:58Look Laith, is that Imam Nuruddin?
01:08Hmm, I think it is.
01:10I wonder what he is doing up there.
01:14Let's go see him.
01:16I'll go ask dad if we can go.
01:20Dad, can we go to the apple tree to see Imam Nuruddin?
01:26Please daddy, can we?
01:34Ok, but only for a little while, it's almost bedtime.
01:40We won't be long, promise.
01:42Thanks daddy, you're the best.
01:50Assalamualaikum Imam Nuruddin.
01:54Oh, I didn't even see you coming.
01:56Waalaikumussalam.
01:58What are you both doing up here?
02:00That's what we want to ask you Imam.
02:04I come up here whenever it is a clear night to see the beautiful stars.
02:10Subhanallah, there are so many tiny little stars.
02:14You're right Laith, but what you see in the sky are not tiny stars.
02:20They are in fact huge in size.
02:24I'm not sure what you're talking about.
02:28I'm talking about the stars.
02:32But what you see in the sky are not tiny stars.
02:36They are in fact huge in size.
02:42Did you know that the closest star to us is the sun?
02:46The sun is a star?
02:48Yep, it sure is Laith.
02:50The sun is made up of hot burning gases that give off huge amounts of energy.
02:56That's the energy that keeps everything on earth alive.
03:00But the sun looks so small.
03:02That's because it's far away from earth.
03:06Right Imam?
03:08Correct Layla, the sun is actually much bigger than earth.
03:12You could fit 1.3 million earths inside the sun.
03:16Wow, that's enormous.
03:18It must be the biggest star in the whole universe.
03:22There can't be anything bigger than the sun.
03:26But there is.
03:28There are stars that are billions of times larger than the sun.
03:32So how big is the universe?
03:36Well, it takes around 100 billion stars to make up only one galaxy.
03:42And the universe is made up of billions of galaxies.
03:48The universe must be the biggest thing ever.
03:52It's the biggest thing we can see Layla.
03:54The biggest thing we can see Layla, but Allah has created much more bigger things.
04:00Like what Iman?
04:02Allah created seven heavens and our universe is below the first heaven.
04:14Seven heavens? Mashallah!
04:18That's right Layth, and the distance between each heaven is 500 years of travel.
04:24And at the speed, only Allah knows.
04:28But there's something even bigger than the seven heavens.
04:32And that is the footstool of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
04:36which is called the Kursi of Allah.
04:38This is even larger than all the seven heavens.
04:42Kursi? That sounds familiar.
04:46That's from Ayatul Kursi.
04:48That's right Layth, and Allah's Kursi is so big.
04:52How big Iman?
04:56Well, the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam gave us an example of its size.
05:02He sallallahu alayhi wasallam said that if we take a ring and throw it in a big desert,
05:10then the ring is like the seven heavens, and the Kursi is like the desert.
05:15Meaning there is no comparison to them.
05:18Because the Kursi is so much bigger that you cannot even see the ring in the desert anymore.
05:25Wow! Subhanallah!
05:27I can't even imagine anything that big.
05:31Well, there is one more creation bigger than the Kursi.
05:35Huh? Even bigger than the Kursi? What is that Iman?
05:41Yeah Iman, what is it?
05:44It is the throne of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala called the Arsh of Allah.
05:50This is again so much bigger than the Kursi, just like the ring is to the desert.
05:57Wow! Allahu Akbar! That is amazing!
06:02It sure is amazing.
06:04And now imagine how great Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, the creator is.
06:10Naif, Layla, it's time for bed.
06:15I thought you two were never coming back.
06:42Assalamu alaikum Muhammad.
06:44Wa alaikumussalam Imam Nuruddin. Good to see you.
06:49Dad, dad, did you know that our sun is 1.3 million times bigger than our earth?
06:55Is that so?
06:57And there are billions of stars that are millions of times bigger than the sun.
07:02Mashallah, you have both learnt so much.
07:07And did you know that…
07:08How about we go inside and get ready for bed and then you can tell me all about what you learnt.
07:16Now thank Imam Nuruddin for the wonderful night.
07:20Jazakallahu khayran Imam Nuruddin.
07:23Wa ayaikum kids, it was my pleasure.
07:30We'll see you at Fajr tomorrow morning inshallah.
07:35Sleep well.
07:36Assalamu alaikum.
07:37Wa alaikumussalam.
