00:00This is a single-cylinder, the second biggest single sold in India right now and it's also
00:08liquid-cooled.
00:09Takes us back to the traditional days of motorcycling, on top of that the only digital that we get
00:17is our fuel gauge and a basic cluster which shows us our information.
00:26All through a single-cylinder, man I can't wait to ride this motorcycle.
00:42Classic legends, a brand that's brought back the Javas and the YesDs to its glory has now
00:48brought back another motorcycle, BSA.
00:51Now this is the all-new BSA Goldstar 650 and I'm going to tell you guys what this bike
00:56has to offer and what makes this so special in the upcoming 600cc segment of motorcycles.
01:06So first up is the design of the motorcycle, well if you just look at this from the side
01:11view, front view or rear view, it screams retro, it screams the classic style of motorcycles.
01:19Now if you look at the front, well we get a very traditional circular headlamp with
01:22two old-fashioned small circular indicators, on top of that we get 18-inch wheels at the
01:27front with the disc brake and 41mm telescopic suspensions.
01:32Now the moment we move on from the front end and look at the side view of the motorcycle,
01:37that at least in my view, is what really brings out the true essence of BSA.
01:42It has the proper 50-50 split that we need for riding comfort.
01:45Now looking at the proper design, as you can see, the fuel tank that we have is in
01:50a gloss, is in a metallic finish and the use of chrome on the motorcycle, all the chrome
01:55elements that we see, just again bring out that whole traditional element of how motorcycles
01:59were really designed back in the day.
02:00Then we get a casing over here in a very nice piano black finish, we hit the Goldstar embossed
02:05right here and a very nice sticker of BSA right on top of that.
02:10We get twin shocks at the rear and we also get a 17-inch wheel at the rear with a disc
02:15brake.
02:16Yes, the Goldstar 650 comes with dual discs and dual-channel ABS.
02:21Now apart from that, the seat that we get is in a sort of teardrop finish, a makeshift
02:26grab handle right here, on top of that we have another grab handle at the rear, enhanced
02:30convenience.
02:31So now apart from that, let's really come to the engine and what makes this stand out.
02:35Well, at the heart of the motorcycle, we get a 652cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine.
02:41Yes, this is a single-cylinder, the second biggest single sold in India right now and
02:46it's also liquid-cooled.
02:48On top of that, this engine produces 45hp and 55Nm of torque.
02:53All through a single-cylinder, man, I can't wait to ride this motorcycle.
02:57So now on top of that, let's look at the convenience and the features that we get on this.
03:01Well, we get a twin-port cluster, analogue cluster, thank God.
03:05Now this again, takes us back to the traditional days of motorcycling.
03:09On top of that, the only digital that we get is our fuel gauge and a basic cluster which
03:14shows us our information, which is our side stand, whether ABS is working or not, fuel
03:18levels, indicator, our neutral light.
03:21Now on top of that, this cluster that we get is super unique, not only because it's in
03:25analogue, but because it's in the reverse setting.
03:27Normally, we see stuff go anti-clockwise, but here, it's all clockwise.
03:31So that is something really cool that we get on this.
03:34Now, now coming to your charging and the sockets that we get on this.
03:38Well, first off, for convenience, we get a type A USB socket and a type C socket and
03:43we don't only get a socket here, we also get a socket located near the engine, yeah.
03:47Now, on my side of the bike, we have a 12-volt socket right here.
03:51Again, if you need it to inflate your tyre, if you have a tyre inflator with you, you
03:56can use it or if you just need to charge anything with a 12-volt socket, it's all
04:00possible on this.
04:01So now looking at the seat height, well, I'm 6'1", the seat height is 780mm and I am extremely
04:07comfortable on this motorcycle.
04:08I don't feel cramped, nor do I feel the bike is too big for me.
04:12I can place my legs comfortably flat on the ground.
04:15The whole rider's triangle that we have, as you can see, it's relaxed.
04:19However, it's not too relaxed that you feel bored on the bike, nor is it aggressive.
04:24In fact, it's not at all aggressive, the seating position.
04:26It's a very, very comfortable seating position.
04:28Now, if you're looking to go for your highway rides or your regular city rides, you will
04:33not feel uncomfortable on this motorcycle.
04:35You will 100% feel comfortable and you will feel one with this.
04:38Now, in terms of how the whole ride experience is, well, we haven't got this motorcycle to
04:43ride, however, from what I've heard is that the ride experience is truly remarkable.
04:48I can't wait to give you guys my own opinion when I get this motorcycle.
04:51So now coming to the price point of the BSA Goldstar 650, well, they've priced this motorcycle
04:56extremely aggressively and for, at the base variant, for the starting price, we get it
05:01at Rs 2.99 lakhs ex-showroom.
05:04Now, for the top-end variant, the Legacy Edition, that goes up to Rs 3.35 lakhs ex-showroom.
05:10That is also pretty affordable for what you get on this motorcycle.
05:14Now, coming to colours, well, it's available in six colour options, so whatever you need,
05:19I'm pretty sure BSA has the colour for you guys.
05:22So let us know what you think of this all-new big single in the Indian market and I hope
05:28you guys enjoyed the video.
