00:00It's been a month again and soon new anime will be released on DVD and Blu-ray.

00:14September is here and of course there are a lot of new anime series, but also movies to buy.
00:19And even so many that I can't even imagine all of them.
00:22That's why I want to do it a little differently today.
00:25Because in this video I will introduce you to three rather unknown series that start this month.
00:30Everyone knows that the third season of Sword Art Online will be released in September.
00:35Or the publication of Tanya the Evil begins.
00:37That's why today it should be more about unknown series.
00:41At the end of the video, however, I will briefly go through them all again.

02:17And that's Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card.
02:20And this is, you can hardly believe it, the second season of Cardcaptor Sakura.
02:25A Magical Girl anime that came out in 1998.
02:29Yes, exactly. 20 years ago.
02:31And this series is really not a spin-off or remake or something.
02:35As you currently do with Fools Basket.
02:37No, it's really a sequel.
02:39A second season.
02:41But before I exclude everyone from Magical Girl,
02:44I should maybe mention one thing.
02:46The original series, but also the new season from 2018,
02:49was produced by Studio Madhouse.
02:52Yes, exactly the people who are responsible for Death Note, Overlord, but also Black Lagoon.

03:08It's pretty mature.
03:09Oh no, this is not Cardcaptor Sakura.
03:12It's not a dark Magical Girl series either.
03:15It's more classic there.
03:17But still, the animations are on a high level.
03:20Cardcaptor Sakura is about the famous Sakura Akinomoto.
03:24Of course, she's just a normal student at first.
03:27But one day, she finds a very special book in her own library.
03:32It glows for some reason.
03:34Curiously, she opens it.
03:35In the book, however, there is no story written, but it contains cards.
03:39And real magic cards.
03:41Unfortunately, she finds out a little too late.
03:43Because before that, she says the name of a card.
03:46A strong wind arises and blows everyone away.
03:49Shortly afterwards, the guardian of the cards wakes up from his winter sleep.
03:52He is of course shocked when he realizes that everyone but one card is gone.
03:57And that's why he now gives Sakura the task of getting the cards back.
04:01And to do this, she just becomes a Magical Girl.
04:04But despite her newly gained powers, it's not that easy to get the cards.
04:09Because they have turned into their most animal form.
04:12So one is, for example, a huge bird that brings all the discs to a boil.
04:16Will Sakura manage to collect all the cards again?

04:41The anime thus reminds a little bit of Detective Conan.

04:46So in every episode, Conan solves a case.
04:48And then it goes to the next one.
04:50And there too, it's precisely the lovable characters that motivate you to continue watching.
04:55So if you want to take a detour into the 90s, you can do that with Cardcaptor Sakura.

05:11This one is about the traveling Kino.

05:15She's on the road with her talking motorcycle Hermes.
05:18Yep, that thing can talk.
05:19And so she travels from country to country, from city to city, from village to village.
05:24But she only stays at every place for three days.
05:26That should be enough to at least get a feeling for it.
05:30Because of that, the series offers variety again and again.
05:33Because not only the scenery changes, but also the people behave completely differently.
05:38And so Kino not only gets to know new villages and new people,
05:41but also their very different lifestyles.
05:45You quickly ask yourself profound questions.
05:48What would happen if the winner of a tournament could pass any law?
05:52Or what do you want to do if your own city threatens to be swallowed by a volcanic eruption?
05:57Do you flee or stay there, because you can't imagine life anywhere else?
