Dog Groomer Opens Up New Salon in Shrewsbury

00:00So I'm Ellie and I am the owner of the Canine Coven. I've been grooming for over 10 years now

00:07and the past three years I've been teaching dog grooming. So I offer everything, so nail cutting,

00:13bathing, de-shedding, hand stripping, styling, the full works. So since I was 18 I've wanted

00:20to open up my own salon but I've always wanted to do it a little bit different and have a little bit

00:25of me in it and I'm very into tattoos and I like the whole tattoo theme and that's what I was kind

00:32of going for with my salon. So something a bit different and a bit quirky. I just love being

00:38around dogs. Dogs are my life, yeah. They're just everything about them. They make me feel happy and

00:45calm and that's what I want to bring to my salon as well is a nice calm environment for me and the

00:50dogs. I would say the biggest trend is dogs cross with poodles. Yeah, so they are your bread and

01:00butter in the dog industry, in the dog grooming world. But I actually really enjoy grooming

01:07cockapoos. I think they're lovely. They're just fun loving dogs I think. Today is my opening day

01:14but I'll officially be taking bookings from the 27th of this month. Thank you.
