00:00If we talk about the internal politics of Tehreek-e-Insaf, this week has not been so good as the issue of resignations has arisen.
00:07On 16th August, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Minister of Construction and Communications, Shakeel Khan,
00:12filed for resignation on charges of corruption and misrepresentation of the government.
00:16He wrote in his resignation that the reason for which the public voted for PTI, the government has moved away from it.
00:21Bad governance, extreme corruption at every level, is the cause of the general impact of Tehreek-e-Insaf on the public.
00:26The ex-Minister of Construction and Communications said,
00:28I present myself to every forum on account of my ministry and I will talk about the reasons for my resignation in detail in the Assembly.
00:34Shakeel Khan claimed that the PTI's government has moved away from the vision of Bani PTI.
00:39The public voted for Bani PTI, but this government is following someone else's lead.
00:44The letter written by the Investigation Committee on Shakeel Khan's corruption in construction and communications,
00:49has come to the fore today, in which a shocking revelation has emerged.
00:52According to Shakeel Khan's letter, 6.87 billion funds were issued in May and June,
00:57but in the release of the funds, 10-20% of the commission received information.
01:01Upon receiving the information of the commission in the funds, he called the Secretary,
01:03and he said that the funds were issued on the orders of the Prime Minister, and Rs 20 crores have been given to the Prime Minister.
01:08When the government asked Shakeel Khan about his position on corruption,
01:15Barrister Saif had to say this.
01:17There are complaints of corruption in the courts.
01:20This matter was also reported in the media.
01:22There were complaints from the employees and from the party officials.
01:26These complaints also reached Mr. Imran Khan.
01:29On his instructions, this committee was formed, and the committee approved this matter.
01:33On the basis of that report, the Prime Minister made a summary of Shakeel Khan's denotification and sent it to the Governor for approval.
01:41Before the Governor's approval, Shakeel Khan resigned.
01:45In the light of that report, this order was issued.
01:48If there is corruption in that report, then there will be a legal action for corruption.
01:51If there is no corruption, then he resigned.
01:53Barrister Saif is saying one thing,
01:55but within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Tehreek-e-Insaf,
01:58different people are saying something else.
02:00They are giving witnesses of Mr. Shakeel Khan's honesty.
02:03Who all are included in this?
02:05Junaid Akbar, who is the MNA, is saying that
02:08he is a very honest person.
02:14He has never made any personal money.
02:17He is giving witnesses of his character.
02:19Atif Khan, who is a senior MNA, is saying that he was with Kameena for 10 years.
02:24But he has never seen a more honest minister than him.
02:28He is putting his support in the hands of Mr. Shakeel Khan.
02:35When Bani PTI came to know about these allegations,
02:38they said that Atif Khan and Junaid Khan have a message
02:43that they should meet the committee on anti-corruption.
02:46They should not take this matter to the public for no reason.
02:48First, let's see why the anti-corruption committee has taken this step.
02:51Former Chairman NAB, Brigadier-in-Chief Musadeq Abbasi,
02:54Senior Lawyer Qazi Anwar and Shah Farman are included in the committee.
02:57All three committee members are non-partisans.
02:59They will decide better.
03:01This is a political challenge in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
03:03In Punjab, we saw that Hamad Asar resigned.
03:08He tweeted that since he has no access to Mr. Imran Khan,
03:12he is not doing any press conference, he is not doing any deal,
03:15he cannot go to Diyala.
03:17And that is why he has no consent in many decisions,
03:19and no opinion is taken from him.
03:21This is because he wants to work as an employee
03:25and not run a party.
03:29He wants to resign as an employee.
03:33When the matter reached Mr. Umar Ayub Khan through a tweet,
03:37he replied on the tweet.
03:39I think they have each other's telephone numbers.
03:41Maybe they talk to each other.
03:42But since this matter has come to the public,
03:44it has become a discussion and a news.
03:46He said that you have worked very hard for the party
03:49and we cannot accept your resignation.
03:53So, regarding Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,
03:56we saw these challenges in Tariq-e-Insaaf this week.
03:59We saw these political fights.
04:02Mr. Marwat, we have met Mr. Imran Khan today.
04:05He has come out very happily.
04:07Till last week, he was on leave due to cancer,
04:09he had to take back his seat,
04:10he was on show-cause notice,
04:11the situation was like this up to this point.
04:12When he came out in today's meeting,
04:14he spoke about something else.
04:15Listen.
04:17I met Mr. Khan after three months.
04:20When Mr. Khan saw me and I extended my hand,
04:22he hugged me.
04:24I complained to Mr. Khan.
04:26I told him some good things.
04:29Mr. Khan complained to him.
04:31Congratulations to Pakistan Tariq-e-Insaaf.
04:33All misconceptions have been cleared.
04:35All leadership was present.
04:37So, Mr. Khan has given me all the responsibilities
04:40of the 22nd of August meeting.
04:43And at the same time,
04:44he has given me the responsibility of the international trade.
04:48We will talk about the whole situation.
04:49Mr. Shoaib Shaheen is present with us.
04:50He is the permanent secretary of Tariq-e-Insaaf.
04:52Thank you very much for joining us, Mr. Shoaib.
04:54There has been a lot of commotion this week.
04:56We will also talk about General Faiz's arrest.
04:59But before that,
05:00we have seen your own internal disagreements
05:04to the extent that it has become a matter of resignation.
05:06There is a charge sheet against Mr. Gandapur
05:08because there is corruption in his government.
05:10And you have a former minister.
05:12About whom,
05:13about his character,
05:14Atif Khan and the people of other parties
05:16are giving their own testimonies.
05:18What is happening?
05:19Look, indifference of opinion
05:21is common in the biggest political parties.
05:24So, to say that there have been a lot of disagreements,
05:27that is not the thing.
05:28Yes, we have a KP government.
05:31There, a minister has raised objections
05:34and a minister has also resigned.
05:36So, if there are any allegations against him,
05:39look, I know one thing,
05:40that the committee that has been formed
05:43for overseas or transparency issues,
05:48is headed by Brigadier Musaddiq.
05:50Very honourable,
05:51very decent,
05:52and very highly,
05:54I can say about him,
05:56integrity,
05:57best,
05:58you can imagine,
05:59he is an honest man.
06:01If there has been a mistake somewhere,
06:04at any place,
06:05at the lower level,
06:06at the higher level,
06:07he is overseeing,
06:09he is watching,
06:10at any place,
06:11if there has been a mistake,
06:12everything is accessed to Mr. Khan.
06:14The point is,
06:15these things are in the governments,
06:16in the parties,
06:17these are side discussions behind the door.
06:19These are side discussions,
06:20they are coming to Manzar-e-Aam,
06:21such a big charge sheet,
06:22against your government,
06:23they are telling in full detail,
06:24who is making money,
06:25how much money is being made,
06:26I have told,
06:27no one has listened.
06:28This has come in the public domain,
06:30so that is why we are addressing this.
06:32That is why we are also discussing this,
06:34otherwise if it was an internal matter,
06:35maybe we would not have done it.
06:36Yes, he took it public.
06:37But I am saying that,
06:38if he has put allegations,
06:39a committee has been formed about him,
06:41the committee is investigating this,
06:43and if any allegation is proven,
06:45against anyone,
06:46it will be proceeded against him.
06:47Sir, against the CM.
06:48We are talking against the CM.
06:49No, we are not talking against the CM.
06:50He is the head of all these corruptions,
06:54he is the CM,
06:55this is his charge sheet.
06:56Look,
06:57there can be an objection of one of the members,
06:59there can be any disagreement,
07:01what he has said cannot be 100% true,
07:04there can be a misunderstanding,
07:06look,
07:07what direct action can the CM take?
07:09If he is the minister there,
07:11if something is going wrong in his ministry,
07:14then the CM has no action to take.
07:16The CM has no action to take?
07:18No, no,
07:19the CM has no action to take.
07:20All in all,
07:21he is the CM.
07:22No, he is not the CM.
07:23If something is going wrong in his ministry,
07:28then the CM has not said anything directly to him,
07:31nor to anyone else.
07:32So,
07:33he can have a personal opinion,
07:35that opinion can also be wrong.
07:36Sir,
07:37how did you establish that,
07:38the CM has not said anything,
07:39nor to anyone else,
07:40there has been no inquiry.
07:41I am doing an assessment,
07:42I have an opinion,
07:43he can have an assessment,
07:45he can have a personal opinion,
07:46the inquiry about which is being done,
07:48that inquiry will be brought forward,
07:49and as a result of that inquiry,
07:51whoever is found guilty,
07:52will be sued,
07:53whether he is an employee,
07:54whether he is an official,
07:55whether he is an officer,
07:56whether he is a party member.
07:57So,
07:58for this,
07:59Mr. Khan has zero tolerance,
08:00regarding corruption.
08:01He himself has sent Brigadier Musaddaq,
08:04there,
08:05that you have to oversee all these issues,
08:08a committee has been formed under his leadership,
08:10that if at any place,
08:11any complaint comes,
08:12it will go directly to Mr. Khan,
08:14whoever is found guilty,
08:16will be sued,
08:17even in that case.
08:19What is your assessment,
08:20why is the situation like this,
08:21is there any political motive behind this,
08:23or is this really an issue of corruption,
08:24this,
08:25from Mr. Shakil Khan,
08:26because,
08:27he has said that,
08:28the matter has gone so far,
08:29that I will have to bring it to the public domain.
08:30What is your assessment?
08:31Look,
08:32I cannot understand,
08:33if there is any political motive behind this,
08:35because,
08:36we do not have any mistrust on Mr. Shakil,
08:38we do not have any mistrust on the CM.
08:40So,
08:41this can be the result of misunderstanding,
08:43according to me.
08:44And,
08:45as you know,
08:46officials are masters of creating misunderstandings,
08:48in our bureaucracy.
08:49So,
08:50probably,
08:51this can happen,
08:52and I think,
08:53we will be able to resolve it.
08:54We will.
