00:02:02Now I just want to start off by thanking everyone for coming out, it's a great time here for Revolution Pro Wrestling, we're two weeks away from the biggest show we've ever produced
00:02:15And tonight I think it's safe to say we've got the entire wrestling world talking
00:02:26And by being here tonight, every single one of you are going to be a part of history, there's nothing like independent professional wrestling live, in person, right here in the UK
00:02:48Now one of the most beautiful things about professional wrestling is not just the moments which are created in the ring, moments that we go away with and we think about for months and months and years to come
00:03:02And we tell our friends about and we say do you remember when, it's not just about that, it's also about the bonds which are formed
00:03:12And I think it's very safe to say that there's many people out there sitting in the audience who wouldn't be friends if it wasn't for this crazy wonderful thing called professional wrestling
00:03:26Now pro wrestling does a wonderful job, it does a wonderful job of creating moments, it does a wonderful job of bringing people together and bringing people closer and creating bonds that will last forever
00:03:48And unfortunately at times we lose those who are closest to us and many of you will know that recently we lost our great friend, the former Undisputed British Tag Team Champion, one of the best people I've ever met in my entire life, The Anarchist James Carson
00:04:18Now I think I was going to talk about Jamie, James, I would honestly be here all night long because he was one of a kind
00:04:47And the next match you're going to witness is going to be in memory of James Carson but not just that, the entire evening is going to be dedicated to his memory, I promise you Jamie we will not let anyone forget you, one of a kind, one of the very best
00:05:06Now listen guys, you can take my word for it but right now I'm going to divert your attention to the screen and I'd like you to listen to some of the words of some of these colleagues and friends
00:05:19Jamie was very much a one of a kind individual
00:05:25He was sort of the man at the school when I started
00:05:28He was someone who helped me grow and mature from a young early 20 year old lad when I first started to who I am today and without him I wouldn't be who I am
00:05:47Had this brilliant raw intensity and dynamic that he brought to performance
00:05:53I don't think we met anyone or had anyone through the doors who was as committed as Jamie
00:06:00All the qualities that made him a great professional wrestler and also made him a great friend
00:06:05From the very first time he stepped into a ring, James Carson was aggressive, violent, disorderly, everything that he was in real life and more, apart from violent, never violent
00:06:18He was the first person to make it, the first person to become a real wrestler, someone that everyone within the school looked up to but someone who we were all so proud of
00:06:28Jamie was the guy, out of everyone at the Portsmouth School of Wrestling he was the first real wrestler that it had produced and he'd been to York Hall, he'd won all the championships
00:06:43I always really looked up to Jamie, he helped me so much, he taught me so much, I took a lot of inspiration from him, I idolised him
00:06:56He wasn't so much a locker room leader than he was just one who sets an example
00:07:03Always had a can-do attitude, always gave everything 110%, the guy to look up to, the guy you wanted to be like
00:07:11James Castle, Jamie Stacey, was passionate, he was incredibly, incredibly focused on his morals, his beliefs and he upheld them no matter what the situation
00:07:26You got someone who was honest, was principled, so intelligent and fiercely loyal
00:07:34Never afraid to say what he felt or what he believed in or say what he thought was right even if it wasn't popular
00:07:42He would fight for you from the bottom of his heart and he would always be the last one standing with you if he agreed with what you did and if he didn't agree he would call you out for it
00:07:55He was such a genuine person, proper genuine person and they're hard to find in wrestling
00:08:01Just deserved infinitely more, not just from this industry but from life in general than what he got
00:08:11One of the bravest people I've ever met in my life, a fighter, a warrior
00:08:17The toughest man I've ever known
00:08:20Just a true great human being
00:08:23I don't actually think he knew how much I valued his friendship
00:08:29The best friend I could have asked for, for over a decade
00:08:33I remember, I think it was the first time he was in remission, he was able to get back in the gym
00:08:39He started doing private training sessions with Zoe at the school and he had a shirt designed for his comeback and it said
00:08:51James Castle will not die and he never got to make that comeback and that's devastating

00:16:05because we know neither man has competed regularly
00:16:07for quite some time now
00:16:10no I mean I'd say especially Dan
00:16:14but don't be shocked if
00:16:16if they break out some bits and bobs
00:16:18you've never seen before
00:16:22it's Gideon Gray with a side headlock applied
00:16:25McGee looking for an escape
00:16:27moving it into his man but
00:16:29Gideon's doing a great job and Gideon's one of the most
00:16:31underrated technicians in the ring isn't he
00:16:33yeah but I'd say the same about Dan Andy
00:16:40yeah I mean I think it's very clear that Dan's
00:16:42a great technician
00:16:44but I think one thing that's underrated about Dan
00:16:46is his ability to scrap and if this one goes down
00:16:48that route then perhaps it could favour McGee
00:16:50yeah well we know Dan McGee
00:16:52one of the best in terms of that
00:16:54brawling style when he was a regular
00:17:00I vividly remember one of my favourite matches of Dan's
00:17:02was at one of the old venues
00:17:04against another
00:17:06good friend of Jamie's
00:17:08Charles Samuels
00:17:11lovely trick there by Gideon
00:17:16yeah he's still got it in his mouth today
00:17:20and he's going to reckon in this because he can
00:17:22literally do whatever he wants
00:17:32I can tell you now the fact he's wrestling without
00:17:34a top on
00:17:36is something he never thought he'd be doing
00:17:42Jamie would be proud of him wouldn't he
00:17:44well I think more so to
00:17:46be able to hide the
00:17:48the wonderful piece of art

00:17:54test of strength here
00:17:56Dan is clearly the bigger guy

00:20:09the most dedicated trainee that we've ever had

00:20:21to Jamie and I'm happy to admit the same

00:20:31realise what an impact he had upon anyone
00:20:33the impact of a friendship
00:20:35someone to look up to
00:20:37and look Gideon Gray he looks like he's
00:20:39he's having to think

00:20:43it's been a while as we said since he's been in the ring

00:21:21that was smart tactics from Gideon
00:21:23but my goodness
00:21:25I hate to say it
00:21:27but I think he asked for that one
00:21:29he absolutely backfired
00:21:31he had me going
00:21:33he landed
00:21:35hard on the stage
00:21:37and at this point
00:21:39he is going to be wondering isn't he
00:21:41why did I sign back up
00:21:43on this one because you can have
00:21:45all the goodwill in the world
00:21:47and obviously he wants
00:21:49so dearly to pay tribute to his late
00:21:51great friend
00:21:53but getting punched in the face is still getting punched
00:21:55in the face isn't it
00:21:57absolutely
00:21:59steel deck staging
00:22:01and Gideon's in some trouble now
00:22:05I can tell you
00:22:07it's hot in this building it's hot outside

00:22:27it's a rivalry it's a competitive rivalry
00:22:29but there's respect between everyone involved

00:22:33watch out because Gideon

00:22:41the way he went from the inside out
00:22:43and there was something about James Castle's
00:22:45innovative smash mouth offence
00:22:47it was so unique it was one of a kind

00:22:51page out of his playbook right there
00:22:53from the inside out quite literally
00:22:55well maybe metaphorically

00:23:09but you can't help but hurt yourself

00:23:49that neither man has competed regularly

00:23:53so cardiovascular conditioning is certainly going to come into play

00:23:59of this whole night, this whole situation as well

00:24:05well these two top fellas have had
00:24:07since the moment this match was announced
00:24:09to think about exactly what this moment was going to be like
00:24:11they've probably been at the venue
00:24:13for the vast majority of the day having to think
00:24:15taking the atmosphere without anyone in the venue
00:24:17and it's the emotions and also it's the memories
00:24:19because we all share so many memories
00:24:21of James Castle in this very venue
00:24:23and it's very real isn't it
00:24:25it's so real, it's so raw
00:24:27and there's an adrenaline dump involved
00:24:29just so many emotions
00:24:31as well as the physicality
00:24:33and the heat and the hot lights

00:25:40we don't mind other people using them
00:25:42but when you see them, remember where they came from
00:25:44remember where they started
00:25:46and this could be another one

00:25:52brilliant, absolutely beautiful

00:34:15the biggest show in Revolution Pro Wrestling history
00:34:19and you're going to be taking a keen interest in this one because the winner of this contest
00:34:23will go in to that Cruiserweight Scramble match alongside champion Neon,

01:26:33got to hook that leg yeah you got to cover the whole entire body don't you got such big leg

01:28:02everything to win this match I have no doubt that he's been studying Ricky Knight jr's tapes as well
01:28:07and I can't do anything but emphasize how hot he is here tonight one more time they call it the
01:28:12summer sizzler for a reason they also call it the road to a 12-year anniversary show coming your way
01:28:17in two weeks time live from the copper box arena Zazire from the top springboard drop kick and RKJ
01:28:24rolls himself out the ring was that ring awareness was that the force of a drop kick
