00:00A DAP MP has lodged a report against Perikatan Nasional Chairman Muhyiddin Yassin for allegedly

00:07questioning the authority of the previous Yang di-Pertuan Agong after the youth and

00:12putri wings of Pekan Amno filed a similar report yesterday.

00:16Jelutong MP RSN Ryer, who lodged the report at the Jalan Petani police station, called

00:22for Muhyiddin to be investigated under the Sedition Act, similar to Kedah Menteri Besar

00:26Sanusi Noor.

00:28Ryer said the Menteri Besar has already been charged at the Shah Alam Court over making

00:32a three-hour remark, so the same action should be taken against Muhyiddin.

00:37He added that what Muhyiddin uttered was slander and denigrated the authority and dignity of

00:41the Agong and that DAP upholds the sanctity of the royal institution.

00:47Yesterday Amno Vice President Wanros Diwan Ismail called on the authorities to take action

00:52against Muhyiddin for his allegedly disrespectful remarks about Al-Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad

00:57Shah.

00:58It is believed that the reports are about an election campaign speech in which Muhyiddin

01:02claimed to have the support of 115 MPs after the 2022 general election and should have

01:08been called by the king to be appointed as the 10th prime minister.
