00:00Computer Science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to
00:04insert or create a table within Microsoft Excel on a Mac computer.
00:09Without further ado, let us start the video. So in this tutorial, you need to
00:14have access to a Mac computer, the application Microsoft Excel for Mac. So
00:19we can now start the tutorial. Let's now go all the way down to the dock, go to
00:22Launchpad, go to Mac Office, open up Microsoft Excel, blank workbook. Let's now
00:31increase the size of the application plus a couple of times. Let's just
00:37increase what we are viewing. So to now create a table, let's create a table from
00:45scratch. So A1 fruit, go to the next line, this could be apple, banana, pineapple,
01:01mango, and then go to B, quantity, go to the next line, 10 apples, 10 bananas, 1
01:20pineapple, 10 mangoes, and now the next column would be the price. In pounds, go
01:34to the next line, apple, 10 apples will cost us 2 pounds, 10 bananas will cost us
01:412 pounds, 1 pineapple will cost us 1 pound, and 10 mangoes will cost us 5
01:48pounds. So the table is starting to take shape. Let's now auto-sum the price, and
01:59that will all cost us 10 pounds. So now to create the table itself, format, click
02:06on the table itself, everything that we have inserted, now go to format as table,
02:17and let's just use the first one, and then we are given with format as table,
02:25and we have all the sum inside this pop-up screen that we have on screen.
02:32Click on OK, and there we go. The table has now been created and inserted into
02:40Microsoft Excel. Let's now CMD-S to save. Table, desktop, save. So quit Excel, and so
02:53that's it for this video. I'll see you guys on the next tutorial. Thanks for now.
