00:00Alright, I'm here to do another unboxing for you guys today of One Piece Movie 8, The Desert
00:10Princess and the Pirates Adventures in Alabasta.
00:14So yeah, this was the very first thing that Funimation put out all the way back in 2008
00:19when they got the One Piece license and they started dubbing the show and everything.
00:24But before they released DVDs of the show, they put this out, I'm pretty sure it was
00:27more of a test pilot kind of thing for their eventual dub of the show and the later movies
00:35that they licensed and everything and all the specials.
00:38I'm hoping, since Crunchyroll has basically fast-tracked the dubbing process of the show,
00:44I'm very much hoping that they'll license the rest of the movies from Toei that they
00:51haven't licensed and dubbed yet.
00:56And yeah, it just makes sense, Funimation was basically focusing on licensing and dubbing
01:02the movies that were not just, like, retellings of previous anime and manga, or TV show and
01:11manga arcs, but were instead, like, new adventures that were not based on anything previous,
01:19so yeah.
01:22Which is good, but now that they've basically caught up to the Japanese, hopefully they're
01:31gonna license more of the stuff that they haven't gotten yet.
01:35So yeah.
01:37So here we go, that's One Piece logo, logo for the movie, I'm assuming this was from
01:47the original theatrical poster.
01:49Full-length feature film, Toei and Funimation and everything, and the spine.
01:55This packaging goes along with the early Voyage sets for the first, I think, three seasons.
02:03I've been getting the Collection sets ever since I started buying One Piece, so yeah.
02:09So it's a bit inconsistent with the ones that I have, but yeah.
02:15So you have the back, with all of this, and then this was interesting for them to license
02:21because this was just a retelling of the Alabasta arc in a movie form.
02:25So yeah, you got a description of the movie, screenshots, and all that.
02:32Main feature, 1080p, HD, 60x9, audio, Adobe TrueHD, English 5.1, Japanese 5.1, Dolby
02:38Digital, English 2.0, and Japanese 2.0, subtitles in English, so yeah.
02:43Or maybe this was released in 2007, but either way, 90 minutes, color, region A, and all
02:48of that.
02:49Oh my god, it's just the disc in there.
02:54No inside artwork.
02:55But yeah.
02:57So not much else to say, so links in the description, like, share, subscribe if you want, and I'll
03:01see you guys in the next one.
