00:00You've had so many iconic roles in so many iconic films.
00:04Now in your career, what is your vetting process like when you're choosing roles, and what
00:08about this role that intrigued you specifically?
00:11Ah, vetting.
00:14Well, sometimes you have to work, because now you're raising your family.
00:20But usually I'm just looking to do something different, something that challenges me in
00:24a new way, whether it be with a new character that I've never played, whether it be with
00:28a new kind of action that I've never done, or a director, or a co-star.
00:33There's usually something that makes me go, hmm, never done that before.
00:37Let me give that a try.
00:39And with this one, I just love the idea of a Jersey James Bond having been in a real
00:45James Bond movie.
00:46I liked the play on ... This is a working man's, a blue collar version of a James Bond
00:52movie.
00:53I loved those great movies of the past, like Lethal Weapon, where you have these buddies
00:59getting together, and there's comedy, but there's also a caper, and there's espionage.
01:04You know what I mean?
01:05So I loved that aspect of it.
01:06I was a big fan of moonlighting growing up, and so I loved to see couples, men and women,
01:11going at it.
01:12There's history there, and you're fighting it.
01:15And because I knew Mark since over 30 years, I've known Mark, so it was nice to be working
01:21with someone you know, someone you call a friend, and to explore a life on camera together
01:27with someone you know so well, I thought would be something I'd never done before.
