00:00Thank you so much. Now, you know, in the beginning of our show, I said that the Las Vegas Hilton is my new home away from home, but as I've been saying during the whole show, I actually come from Brooklyn, New York.
00:13I love... Oh, right. I love you guys doing this. I get to be stripped by my favorite girls.
00:24Anyway, so... So, anyway, I come from Brooklyn, New York, and I loved... I loved... Am I okay? All right. I love my family. I love growing up there. Thanks.
00:33I love growing up in Brooklyn. I love my family. I love my friends. But I couldn't... When I was a kid, I couldn't wait to get out of Brooklyn because I wanted to start my life, you know?
00:41And as soon as I got out, I got homesick. I wanted to get back. Isn't that always the way? Like, you know, the grass is always greener on the other side of the orchestra pit.
00:50So we wrote this song about that feeling, and let's do it for you. Okay. I'll kick it off. I'll kick it off.
01:00Okay, here's my story. See, I flew in from the West Coast just the other day. Yes, I flew in from the West Coast and we circled JFK.
01:25The movie ended and I pulled up the shade, looked out the window while the music played. But in my head I'm singing, singing the Brooklyn blues. Oh, yeah.
01:45Oh, George. George Shelby playing sax. When you're growing up in Brooklyn, the bridge is like a friend. And when you're growing up in Brooklyn, that bridge is sure your friend.
02:07Because that river looks a hundred miles wide when all your dreams are on the other side. And that can start you singing, singing those Brooklyn blues. Oh, yeah.
