00:00How many years will you take to make that mobile phone?

00:04We have received almost for free something so precious

00:08and that's the gift of science.

00:10But we don't respect science.

00:12That mobile phone comes from a certain sophistication of mind.

00:16It is a product of intelligence.

00:18But we respect neither sophistication nor intelligence.

00:22So a very sophisticated thing has been given to a rather crude fellow.

00:27And what does he do?

00:28Doomscroll.

00:30A scientist is not going to do that.

00:32The fellow who makes the chip is not going to do that.

00:36Because he is busy with inventing, obviously.

00:40But the fellow who gets it almost for free

00:43will be watching all kinds of rubbish on the phone

00:46and continuously for hours on end.

00:49We live in a peculiar state.

00:52We are beasts within but have been gifted

00:55with greatly sophisticated technology.
