00:13Here is the breaking news for tonight.
00:22In September 2019, Darwin Dormitorio, a fourth-class cadet in the Philippine Military Academy,
00:29suffered an acute peritonitis secondary to blunt traumatic injury to the abdomen,
00:34the cause of death.
00:35As a result, he was repeatedly attacked by fellow cadets.
00:39After almost five years,
00:41and are hereby sentenced to the Reclusion Perpetua,
00:46the three main accused of the death of Darwin Dormitorio,
00:52guilty of violating the Anti-Hating Act,
00:55were Felix Lumbag Jr., Shalimar Imperial Jr. and Julius Carlo Tadena.
01:00Lumbag and Imperial were found guilty of murder.
01:03The three were sentenced to 40 years in the Reclusion Perpetua or prison.
01:08The court also fined Lumbag and Imperial three million pesos in damages,
