00:00:00Hi, I'm Tiffany. I'm juror number one, and this is my Ponderosa.
00:00:14The dumbest, stupidest survivor move ever is to leave all those people sitting in there with idols.
00:00:20And they take me out. Is that, like, the most stupidest thing you've ever heard in your life?
00:00:25To leave three people sitting at Emerge with ten people left now,
00:00:30with three of them holding idols or advantages, not even flushing them and getting me out.
00:00:35It's one thing to get me out, but flush an idol. Make it look good.
00:00:39They flushed nothing tonight. Tiffany was the biggest threat.
00:00:43I'm embarrassed for them. Honestly, I'm embarrassed for them.
00:00:45I hope they see this, and I hope they cringe.
00:00:47If I didn't lose at least 15 pounds, put me on the Yasa beach and leave me there for another ten days.
00:00:53Starve me.
00:00:55That damn breadfruit.
00:00:57Hello!
00:01:00Don't be shocked. I wasn't.
00:01:02I can't wait to see who's next, and I'm going to laugh in their face.
00:01:04Ha ha, stupid fool. You should have played it smarter.
00:01:07Dumb fools. Oh my God.
00:01:10I might feel a little high.
00:01:16I think you come out here to play a game and not be fearful.
00:01:19And I just feel like they were super, super fearful of being voted out.
00:01:23I've been voted out a million times in my life. This is just another one.
00:01:26I usually normally get nude completely to get on the scale.
00:01:29Let's maybe not do that today.
00:01:31I was going to do it, though. Back on?
00:01:33Yeah, starting weight 166, and now you're 115.
00:01:36So I'm like 16 pounds down.
00:01:38I played hard. I kept it light. I enjoyed myself.
00:01:41I don't have a million dollars, but I feel like a million bucks.
00:01:45Can't wait to see who's going to join me. Thank you.
00:01:48It's such a pleasure always seeing you.
00:01:50You make me happy every day.
00:01:52So I'm on the boat, and I'm going to get handed something.
00:01:55What is that?
00:01:57What are you giving me?
00:01:59My first thought, maybe Sia loved me so much that she already sent me the money.
00:02:03And then I was like, wait, nobody's seen this yet.
00:02:06Can't be that.
00:02:08Oh my God.
00:02:10The ponderosa menu.
00:02:12And I don't have my glasses.
00:02:13I needed to put that menu on the floor and walk eight feet back,
00:02:16and then I could have told you what I wanted to order.
00:02:18Hold on.
00:02:19Calamari. Never.
00:02:21I don't want to look at any kind of fish.
00:02:23Ever, ever, ever.
00:02:24Smoked cheese, grilled cheese.
00:02:26Chili flakes.
00:02:28This is, like, really nice.
00:02:30What am I going to have?
00:02:31Does anybody want to tell me what I should have?
00:02:33The fact that I got to choose was even, like, overwhelming.
00:02:36I have to be honest.
00:02:37It was, like, too much.
00:02:38There's so much here, you guys.
00:02:39I don't know. Is that drinks?
00:02:43So, actually, when I arrived, I felt like, would I be embarrassed?
00:02:46Would I feel bad?
00:02:47Would I feel stupid?
00:02:48I felt none of those things.
00:02:50I felt like a freak.
00:02:51I really felt like a queen.
00:02:52I'm the queen of ponderosa.
00:02:55You can have all this by getting voted off by a bunch of fools that are holding idols.
00:03:01Isn't this fabulous?
00:03:03Okay.
00:03:04Oh, I like it so much better now.
00:03:07If that's a fun house mirror and I look fat in it and short,
00:03:09I'm really going to kill you all.
00:03:11This is not a fun house mirror.
00:03:13No way.
00:03:15I'm pretty thin.
00:03:16Oh, my gosh.
00:03:17I'm so thin I want to go home now and show all my friends and be jealous.
00:03:20Because we worked so hard to do this.
00:03:22Pretty freaking cute.
00:03:24I'm actually kind of hot for a 47-year-old mom.
00:03:27I feel damn good.
00:03:28I think I should do this every year.
00:03:30This should be, like, the survivor cleanse.
00:03:32This season, who would you come out to play if you knew there was no rice?
00:03:37That was a big one.
00:03:38Half a cup of rice.
00:03:39Okay, I can do that.
00:03:40Can I get rice?
00:03:42What does that mean?
00:03:43Like, no, you really are not eating.
00:03:46That's a whole different game.
00:03:50Oh, thank you so much.
00:03:52Oh, I love her.
00:03:53I love anybody who brings me food after 17 days of not eating.
00:03:57Appreciation of food, the taste.
00:04:01It was a new experience.
00:04:06Oh, that's delicious.
00:04:07Oh, I'm not pissed anymore.
00:04:09I didn't eat as much as I thought I would, but I was talking so much.
00:04:13If it wasn't for me, there would be no laughter on that show whatsoever.
00:04:16I cried once because I made myself look like a fool on that balance beam.
00:04:20I looked like Free Willy on the show.
00:04:22I think it was just, like, nervous, anxious energy.
00:04:25And plus, it's just me.
00:04:27You know, I can't stop myself.
00:04:28It's so annoying.
00:04:29I even annoy myself.
00:04:31And now I'm going to shower maybe if I don't just collapse into bed like this,
00:04:35which is gross.
00:04:37Oh, look how nice.
00:04:39Welcome to my you lost survivor room, where you get to go when the jerks put you off.
00:04:48Yes, this is the room.
00:04:50Lovely.
00:04:51Look, there's a little bag on my bed.
00:04:53Oh, it's a goodie bag of smelling good stuff.
00:04:57You just lost, please shower.
00:04:59Okay, before we do anything else, please take a shower, you know.
00:05:02And they give you all these things to clean up.
00:05:04This is something you think about when you're on the island, like a bar of soap.
00:05:07Is that a toilet?
00:05:09Yeah, I don't use toilets anymore.
00:05:11I only go by rocks and oceans, so that's not going to work for me.
00:05:21Tonight, we're going to meet with the resort manager, Jim,
00:05:25who's going to teach us about some Fijian culture of torch lighting.
00:05:29Tell me a little bit about what you're wearing.
00:05:31I want to know all about this.
00:05:32What you're representing here.
00:05:34Let me explain to you, first of all, about our suit.
00:05:36Tell me.
00:05:37This is called a liku.
00:05:39It's called a grass skirt.
00:05:40A grass skirt.
00:05:41Yes.
00:05:42A liku.
00:05:43Yes.
00:05:44A liku.
00:05:45That's the traditional Fijian name.
00:05:46Men and women back in the days, they wear grass skirts.
00:05:48Everybody.
00:05:49Everyone.
00:05:50And only during torch lighting ceremony or all the time?
00:05:53All the time.
00:05:54Lighting the torch in the traditional Fijian culture is like, you know, bringing the place life back again.
00:06:00Like you're lighting a fire.
00:06:01Ah, so fire represents your life.
00:06:03Exactly.
00:06:04Sounds like survivor.
00:06:12That's how to light a torch.
00:06:13That was amazing.
00:06:14All right, let's go.
00:06:15Let's go.
00:06:16We're going to light the torches.
00:06:21And this is every night?
00:06:22Every night.
00:06:23Every night we light the torches.
00:06:25So we bring back the traditional lifestyle in the village.
00:06:30To this beautiful resort.
00:06:31Exactly.
00:06:32I love it.
00:06:33You're welcome.
00:06:34You're welcome.
00:06:35We say totoka in Fijian.
00:06:36Totoka.
00:06:37Totoka.
00:06:38Totoka.
00:06:39Awesome.
00:06:40Awesome.
00:06:41I say awesome.
00:06:42Say it with me.
00:06:43Awesome.
00:06:44Awesome.
00:06:45Or.
00:06:46Or.
00:06:47Some.
00:06:48Some.
00:06:49Right.
00:06:50Now you say it like me from New York.
00:06:51Awesome.
00:06:52Awesome.
00:06:53Right.
00:06:54Awesome.
00:06:55Awesome.
00:06:56Yeah.
00:06:57You play this game completely different once you've played it.
00:06:59You just get a whole different perspective on the game and how freaking difficult this
00:07:03game is.
00:07:04I love the whole idea of being able to like be out there and just run around and feel
00:07:10free and meet people that you wouldn't ordinarily spend time with.
00:07:15I thrived in that environment.
00:07:17I'm really proud of myself because I think I did a damn good job.
00:07:20I was a 47-year-old badass out there.
00:07:22I made a few, you know, little mishaps that were a little embarrassing.
00:07:26People are going to see me on that balance beam.
00:07:27It's going to be so embarrassing.
00:07:28It's kind of freaking funny too.
00:07:30And I'll be able to laugh at it.
00:07:32I'm very much happy with being seen as a happy person through the whole game, keeping everybody's
00:07:37spirits alive even when it was really bad, and also like just enjoying myself playing
00:07:42the game.
00:07:44My takeaway is like I am who I am.
00:07:46And I thought that it was who I am, but now I'm positive it is who I am.
00:07:50Nobody's going to ever take this experience away from me.
00:07:52And the queen is still awesome.
00:07:55Probably more awesome.
00:07:57And they're all going to wish they worked with me, those stupid Survivor players.
00:08:01What do they know?
00:08:16This is Nasir.
00:08:17And I'm Evy.
00:08:18And this is our Ponderosa.
00:08:21This is our Ponderosa.
00:08:23Do you want to try one right now?
00:08:25This is our...
00:08:26Yeah, wait, wait.
00:08:27I'm Evy.
00:08:28I'm Nasir.
00:08:29And this is our Ponderosa.
00:08:31We're stars.
00:08:42It was a huge blindside.
00:08:44I should have used my item, but at the same time, the way I played, I'm really proud.
00:08:49And I think I give 110%, or could be 150%.
00:08:53I really want to know what happened.
00:08:55I hate that twist.
00:08:56I've always hated that twist.
00:08:58When Jeff asked me the last question, that made...
00:09:01I was like, uh-oh, that's bad.
00:09:03Because if Jeff asks you the last question and gives you a lot of time to talk,
00:09:06you're probably the one going out.
00:09:10At least I'm part of the jury.
00:09:12So I am able to see on a daily basis what's going on, part of the game.
00:09:17I can enjoy every night again.
00:09:19Damn it.
00:09:20I was like, I hope I don't see you, and here you are.
00:09:22But it's not your fault.
00:09:24I could never really get my legs under me at the Merge,
00:09:26and if they had let me get one more, I think I would have gotten there.
00:09:30So they were right to get me out.
00:09:33I know.
00:09:34The thing is, I'm not good at puzzles.
00:09:36I just learned how to do that one.
00:09:37Yeah.
00:09:38Here's a secret.
00:09:39I'm doing a PhD at Harvard.
00:09:40I kept that a secret the whole game.
00:09:41And if there's one thing I can do, it's my freaking homework.
00:09:43How much do you think you've lost?
00:09:45I would say at least 10 pounds.
00:09:51117.
00:09:52So 194 down to 178.
00:09:54I'm sexy now.
00:09:58130.8.
00:10:00So like 14.
00:10:04Yeah, so.
00:10:0714 pounds, yeah, that's a lot.
00:10:09I don't like this.
00:10:10Everyone's like, oh, you look so skinny.
00:10:11That's so messed up.
00:10:12Body positivity.
00:10:13Like, starvation diet is not good.
00:10:15I looked great before.
00:10:16I do look good now, I'm not going to lie.
00:10:18I do look good now.
00:10:19But like, that's not a good message, you know?
00:10:22Dr. Lee, thank you so much for everything.
00:10:24Thank you for everything.
00:10:25Yeah, thank you.
00:10:27Yo, Nasir, what happened?
00:10:30What happened?
00:10:32Blindside.
00:10:33Me too, dude.
00:10:34Come on, these two.
00:10:35You voted out these two on the same episode?
00:10:37People are going to be so mad.
00:10:39Did Shan play her idol?
00:10:40No, Shan and that was my job.
00:10:42That was my job.
00:10:43I trusted Shan.
00:10:44She said she's from Boston.
00:10:45Oh, don't trust.
00:10:46Yeah, you can't trust her.
00:10:47Listen, Shan is Boston rock and a preacher body.
00:10:50I'm not even kidding.
00:10:51And we made the jury, man.
00:10:52We did.
00:10:53Yeah, come on.
00:10:54We did it.
00:10:55And we're proud of ourselves.
00:10:56And the reality is, we know we got taken out because we were playing the game.
00:10:58And when you come out here, all you want to do is get a chance to play.
00:11:01And we did.
00:11:02I'm happy to see you, buddy.
00:11:03I mean, I'm not happy that we're both here, but you know.
00:11:06It's all right.
00:11:07This is falling.
00:11:08Nice to see you too.
00:11:09Okay.
00:11:11The last challenge.
00:11:12Did you drink something?
00:11:13Not yet, but let's do it, right?
00:11:18Hello, guys.
00:11:19What up?
00:11:20What up?
00:11:21What up?
00:11:22Oh, we made it.
00:11:24We made it.
00:11:25We get off the boat.
00:11:26We walk into beautiful Ponderosa.
00:11:28There's a sign greeting us.
00:11:29There's tiki torches, and we're just like, you know what?
00:11:32Life is fine.
00:11:33Yeah, VVIP.
00:11:34Yes.
00:11:35VVIP.
00:11:36VVIP.
00:11:37Literally, the thing I wrote down in my list, what do I want to do in Survivor?
00:11:41Number one, have fun.
00:11:43Enjoy every single minute and appreciate.
00:11:45Then I did that.
00:11:46All I heard was my co-queen Evie scream, Tiff.
00:11:51Tiff!
00:11:52Tiffany, we are home.
00:11:54We are back home.
00:11:55And I just like, it was home.
00:11:56Like, we're back.
00:11:57We're back.
00:11:58The mayor, the queen of Ponderosa.
00:12:01Hi, baby.
00:12:02Idle in your pocket?
00:12:04Yes, I am.
00:12:05It's in my bag, though.
00:12:07Oh, man.
00:12:08You knew that was happening.
00:12:09I know.
00:12:10Yeah, yeah.
00:12:11All right, guys.
00:12:12Nobody can board me off.
00:12:13Yours is way prettier than Zinner's.
00:12:15What's wrong with you?
00:12:16Why didn't you use it tonight?
00:12:17That's what I have on my number.
00:12:18You really thought?
00:12:20That's why they call it blindside, mama.
00:12:22Oh, God.
00:12:23I would say when we came and looked at the mirror, I'm like, wow.
00:12:27Is that Nazir?
00:12:28Yeah.
00:12:29I legitimately did not quite recognize myself.
00:12:32I literally almost forgot what my face looked like.
00:12:34I don't have six-pack.
00:12:35I have that spot, but it's one pack.
00:12:37My hair looks crazy.
00:12:38I'm very tan, though.
00:12:39I promised my girlfriend that I would not lose my butt.
00:12:42And we're a borderline right here.
00:12:43So I've got a few days to get back in business, or I'm not sure I'm going to be allowed home.
00:12:47Eat, eat, eat.
00:12:48A lot of food.
00:12:49Oh, take a minute and appreciate this food, guys.
00:12:52We can eat for two days, even, that food.
00:12:55Yeah, yeah.
00:12:56It would have been a lot of food.
00:12:57There's the physical element of food, and there's the emotional element of food.
00:13:01And to just know, ah, it's not scarce anymore.
00:13:04Like, it's a relief.
00:13:06I feel like we got our money's worth.
00:13:08We played Survivor.
00:13:09We had 17 days of some of the hardest Survivor that's ever been played.
00:13:12There was never a season ever where they didn't have rice.
00:13:15And you know what?
00:13:16We did it.
00:13:17And we're freaking proud.
00:13:19Right, man?
00:13:22You couldn't have picked a happier three people to be stuck together in this Ponderosa.
00:13:26We had a blast for the first night here.
00:13:28First night, and it's still, and will be forever.
00:13:30Yes.
00:13:37All right, here's the thing.
00:13:38My hair is very important to me.
00:13:39I only let people that I love cut my hair.
00:13:41The last haircut I got was from my girlfriend, who's, like, my most important person in my whole world.
00:13:46And now, the person I love second most in the whole world, Nasir.
00:13:49I'm going to let him do my new cut today, because I want to go out to the jury looking fresh as hell.
00:13:54And Nasir back here is going to help me out.
00:13:57I am not worried for even one second that he is not also an amazing barber.
00:14:01And he knows that if I'm wrong, I will look terrible on national television.
00:14:05So, no pressure.
00:14:06Promise, I will do my best.
00:14:08No, whatever happens, I love you.
00:14:10And I will never write your name down.
00:14:11We're doing it.
00:14:12No turning back now.
00:14:14I think I cut my hair only two years ago, two summers ago.
00:14:18When I look in the mirror and I see myself, I'm, like, giddy.
00:14:21I'm, like, damn.
00:14:22Look how cute that person is.
00:14:24It feels just so much more like me than I ever felt in my whole life, you know?
00:14:28For the vast majority of my life, I never thought I looked good.
00:14:31And I'm, like, at a place with myself, with, like, my physical appearance, with my, like, inner understanding and, like, self-love that is just, like, on a level that I never had before.
00:14:42And then to go from a place of, like, really not living as my full self and then going to get to live as my full self, like, gave me so much more confidence and so much more self-love.
00:14:53The fact that this experience, even though I lost, could just make me love myself even more.
00:14:58Like, I just wish that for everybody out there.
00:15:03Come on, who's more trustworthy than you?
00:15:05You ever write my name down?
00:15:06No.
00:15:07Well, there you go.
00:15:08Whatever makes you feel more valued, more worthy, chase that.
00:15:12You know what I mean?
00:15:13Because you won't regret it.
00:15:14I promise you, you won't regret it.
00:15:15Oh, yeah.
00:15:16It's literally perfect.
00:15:18It's literally perfect.
00:15:19Oh, man, it looks awesome.
00:15:21Thank you, man.
00:15:22I love you.
00:15:23You're welcome.
00:15:26Today, I'm joining our Panrosa chef to learn how he prepares some food and to provide lunch for my tribe mates here, too.
00:15:35It's going to be fun.
00:15:36I'm Nasir.
00:15:37I'm the second jury member.
00:15:38And chef's name?
00:15:40My name is Chef Dao.
00:15:42What am I going to learn today?
00:15:44We have a Spanish mackerel.
00:15:46They're just from the ocean.
00:15:48We just want to make something healthier and easy.
00:15:51That sounds awesome plus delicious.
00:15:56That is olive oil?
00:15:57Yeah.
00:16:02When I was in the game, I was the main provider for the tribe.
00:16:06They called me chef.
00:16:07Oh, so you're a chef.
00:16:08So you are feeding everyone?
00:16:10Yes.
00:16:11Oh, that's cool.
00:16:12This is something really special.
00:16:14Learning from professionals, you know?
00:16:19I'm going to make this one for my family when I get home.
00:16:23Thank you, Chef Dao.
00:16:24You're welcome.
00:16:28Wow.
00:16:29Chef, thank you for your help today.
00:16:33Thank you, Chef.
00:16:34Service pickup, please.
00:16:42One of the nice things about being here at Panrosa, especially with Tip,
00:16:45who's someone that I spent almost my entire time in the game with,
00:16:48is that now that we're free from the game,
00:16:50we can actually get deeper into some of the things
00:16:52that we were talking about in the game,
00:16:54but were a little afraid to maybe ask in the context of the game.
00:16:57You are probably my closest friend who identifies as queer.
00:17:00Love it.
00:17:01I'm going to ask you questions that everybody wants to ask and know about
00:17:03that is too afraid because I'm not afraid.
00:17:05It's good to ask.
00:17:06Why was gay versus queer versus what makes the difference with that
00:17:09and why you identify as queer versus a lesbian or gay.
00:17:13Especially if you're talking to a person,
00:17:15like whatever word they use to describe themselves
00:17:17should be the word that you use, you know what I mean?
00:17:19Like if someone says to you, like, I'm gay,
00:17:21that's the word they want you to use.
00:17:23I have no fear in asking people questions
00:17:25because you get the honest answers.
00:17:27And not being afraid to ask it is the steps in how we move forward in this world.
00:17:30For me, I say I'm queer
00:17:32because a lot of people, especially like around my age,
00:17:35queer for us is kind of like an umbrella term.
00:17:38So queer to me includes gay, lesbian, bi, pan.
00:17:42Queer feels like a good word for me
00:17:44and that's going to be my word.
00:17:46She made herself vulnerable in asking questions
00:17:49that are maybe hard questions to ask
00:17:51and that makes it so easy for me to be able to like be honest with her
00:17:54and be vulnerable myself and like share my story with her.
00:17:57For a long time, the word queer was more of like a derogatory term.
00:18:00And like you see season one,
00:18:02Rudy is calling Richard queer as like an insult.
00:18:06It's been reclaimed.
00:18:07We use it for ourselves, you know.
00:18:08And that's kind of the cool thing about as the show has gone over time,
00:18:11you're seeing kind of like some of those changes, you know.
00:18:13Right. And when you say that, I know you say it proudly
00:18:16and you own it and it's not a bad thing.
00:18:18It's not anything. It's just who you are.
00:18:20Right. I'm just so grateful to this game
00:18:22to have given me a friend like Tiff,
00:18:24someone who is a different generation from me
00:18:26but genuinely like wants to like know more
00:18:28and learn more and be better.
00:18:30You have taught me more than, you know, I could have ever known
00:18:32or felt comfortable asking anybody.
00:18:34And I think that comes from a place of like, you know,
00:18:36shared experience and real love for each other on a different level.
00:18:39I love you.
00:18:40I love you.
00:18:41And I love everything about you.
00:18:43Yeah.
00:18:44That was really super funny.
00:18:45It's a really special relationship that we have.
00:18:47And it's really nice to be able to have that conversation today
00:18:49and know that she is like literally going to directly
00:18:52bring what I'm saying to students like that need it.
00:18:55That's everything.
00:19:04I love you.
00:19:11As I reflect on my game, it's like so many of the relationships
00:19:13that I did build in the game were real.
00:19:16Even when people thought I was a threat,
00:19:18it let me stay one more day.
00:19:20Yeah, I didn't win, but I did such awesome things.
00:19:23I literally retired a puzzle because I did it so damn fast.
00:19:27My story got to be a part of this cornucopia
00:19:30of like fantastic stories that make up this season
00:19:33that's 41, drop the four, keep the one.
00:19:35You know, like I'm so proud and honored to be a part of it.
00:19:41Apart from my family, there is nothing like Survivor experience
00:19:45to me in my life.
00:19:47Every single minute I had in this experience, unforgettable.
00:19:52Watching Survivor, my life changed.
00:19:55I learned English.
00:19:57When I was able to play Survivor
00:20:00and do all these interviews in English,
00:20:03one-on-one conversation with Jeff Probst,
00:20:08what else I need?
00:20:11Really this game, it's about the human connection.
00:20:13The reason why Nasir and I got voted out is because we have that.
00:20:16We were like, we are open people.
00:20:19And we were giving, yeah.
00:20:20And we have that charisma.
00:20:22We know that we are people first over there.
00:20:24Yeah.
00:20:25People, people.
00:20:26We were people first, game second.
00:20:28We didn't win because of it, but I think we came out winners.
00:20:30And I'm sure there are many people who love us who are watching, you know?
00:20:35America, listen.
00:20:36I'm sure you watched this episode and you're like,
00:20:38the two favorite players of all of America got voted out.
00:20:41Like, the two happiest people, the nicest people,
00:20:43the ones we wanted to win.
00:20:44Tiffany, Tiffany.
00:20:45And Tiffany went for it.
00:20:46It's like, why even keep watching this season?
00:20:50That's right, that's good.
00:20:52Listen guys, Jeff worked really hard on this show.
00:20:54You know, there's gonna be more good episodes.
00:20:56I'm sure there'll be things going on.
00:20:57Yeah, she's amazing.
00:20:58Your favorite players couldn't win,
00:20:59but we'll still be there smiling our butts off in the jury.
00:21:02Give this season another chance.
00:21:03You know, keep watching.
00:21:04Let's go.
00:21:23Hi, I'm Shan.
00:21:24I'm jury number four, and this is my Ponderosa.
00:21:37I think I was playing a really strong game.
00:21:39Maybe I hit the gas too hard.
00:21:42I do believe that they perceived me as a strong player.
00:21:45And because of that, I think they just, they wanted me to go.
00:21:49They voted me out.
00:21:51It's a compliment.
00:21:52It's a backhanded compliment.
00:21:53I have to take it like that.
00:21:54That's how I have to take it.
00:21:55I came out here and I did it.
00:21:56I didn't have any flare-ups.
00:21:57My body did much more than I ever thought it could.
00:22:00You know, and I pushed myself.
00:22:02And I think I could have lasted seven more days.
00:22:06I feel good.
00:22:07Honestly, I feel really good.
00:22:08I don't feel sad.
00:22:09I just feel like, dang it.
00:22:10You know, like, I had an idol in my freaking pocket.
00:22:13I left with an idol in my pocket.
00:22:15My spidey senses were going tonight,
00:22:17but I kept saying, Shan, just hold on to the idol one more.
00:22:20You can guarantee yourself final six or final five.
00:22:22Just hold on.
00:22:23And I knew it.
00:22:24The moment the second Erica was read, I'm like, this is it.
00:22:27I know it's me.
00:22:28And then I saw my name.
00:22:29Shan, Shan, Shan Chantel.
00:22:31And I was like, oh my goodness.
00:22:36Okay.
00:22:39135.
00:22:4311 pounds.
00:22:44That's great.
00:22:45I wasn't voted out first.
00:22:47I'm 11, you know.
00:22:48I was born on the 11th day, so it's fine.
00:22:51It kind of comes together in my heart.
00:22:53It's fine.
00:22:54It's fine.
00:22:55I'm fine.
00:22:56It's fine.
00:22:57I hate losing, but, you know.
00:22:59But I'm healthy, and I'm alive, and I played survivor.
00:23:02Thank you for everything.
00:23:03I made it to the jury, and I'm still in some way in the game.
00:23:07So I get to watch how this all unfolds,
00:23:10and I'm looking forward to see how this unfolds.
00:23:13I drove the Tiffany vote.
00:23:15I drove the Evy vote.
00:23:18I blindsided Nasir, used my advantage to get him out.
00:23:20I put these people where they are, so I'm kind of nervous.
00:23:23So there's a lot of blood on my hand, you know.
00:23:28Are you okay, Shan?
00:23:29I'm actually okay.
00:23:30You did so great.
00:23:31Okay, first of all.
00:23:32You played a great game.
00:23:33Shan and I, we were like star-crossed lovers in the game.
00:23:36Like, we kept wanting to work together,
00:23:37and it kept not happening from one way or another.
00:23:39And the reality is, we both ended up in the same place here in Ponderosa,
00:23:43and I'm excited to have fun with her here.
00:23:45I'm scared to look at the freaking mirror.
00:23:48Because now I know what I look like on national television.
00:23:51Oh, my goodness.
00:23:55Who is that person?
00:23:56I look so bony.
00:23:57I know it's me because I'm in this body, but I felt like a shell.
00:24:00And yet I looked at myself, and I was like, you're such a badass.
00:24:04Like, you didn't flare up.
00:24:05Like, look at you.
00:24:06You're here.
00:24:07You're still alive.
00:24:08You feel strong.
00:24:10You know what?
00:24:11The tan looks great.
00:24:12I need to put weight back on, definitely.
00:24:14But, like, also, hey, girl.
00:24:16Like, how you doing?
00:24:18So here's my big secret that I didn't tell anybody.
00:24:21What did you have?
00:24:22I had multiple sclerosis.
00:24:23So I was playing the game with MS.
00:24:25So my whole thing was that I wanted to get to the end, like,
00:24:27as an MS warrior to represent for, like,
00:24:29people with multiple sclerosis that they could kick ass in this game.
00:24:32So I'm just hoping that they feel proud watching the game play.
00:24:36But that was my thing that I just didn't tell anyone.
00:24:38How serious is it?
00:24:40No, I'm good.
00:24:41I did, like, eight rounds of chemo.
00:24:42So I'm, like, pretty, like, right before I came.
00:24:44So I got really healthy before I came out here.
00:24:46So that was my whole thing.
00:24:47That's why I came out to play.
00:24:48And I'm sure you made them proud.
00:24:50I hope so.
00:24:51Really good game.
00:24:52You guys, too.
00:24:53I respect her that even with that, she came out here with no fear.
00:24:58She came out as a badass, and she really was a badass in that game.
00:25:01You can go through something like this and walk away from it
00:25:03and forget every single thing that you've learned
00:25:06or, you know, the things that you've experienced.
00:25:08They can just leave you.
00:25:10During this time, I really want to just absorb everything.
00:25:12Every lesson, every person was a teacher to me in this game in some way.
00:25:16How I process it here ultimately will be what I take back to the home.
00:25:20And so I want to make sure that I just download all of that
00:25:22and never go back from this experience.
00:25:25In life, always go upward and forward.
00:25:27You know, that's what I want to do at Panorosa.
00:25:41I think I started playing a game where I was like, I am playing for myself,
00:25:44but then there were these bigger things on my shoulder
00:25:46that I felt like I was carrying.
00:25:47So I felt like, as a black woman,
00:25:49I wanted to represent for the African-American community
00:25:53and specifically, you know, the culture.
00:25:56Ultimately, you know, when I saw Danny and Deshawn and Liana,
00:25:59myself and JD, I saw, like, potentially, you know, this is my heart.
00:26:05You know, I saw potentially, like, the dream team,
00:26:07and I was like, it would be so beautiful to see us all, like,
00:26:10on the cover of Essence magazine or, like, you know, Oprah or something like that
00:26:15where we could bring home a win for the African-American community
00:26:19because there are so many systems in America that oppress
00:26:23that, like, to see, you know, four black players coming together,
00:26:26potentially to work together to create a win, you know,
00:26:30as a moment of hope for the community outside the game,
00:26:33I think that, you know, that's not fair. That's justice.
00:26:38It might be stupid. People might be like,
00:26:39but you're playing a game, and it's a million dollars,
00:26:41and how could you think, and I just, but I just thought, you know,
00:26:44the context in which we played Survivor, the stakes were so huge,
00:26:48and I think this was, like, a moment in history that we just missed.
00:26:56I can't just leave everything behind because I, wherever I go, there I am,
00:27:00you know, and that's the skin I'm in and the person that I am,
00:27:03and I can't be divorced from my struggle.
00:27:05I can't be divorced from my experience as a person of color,
00:27:08and so it was going to follow me into this game.
00:27:11I feel like I played a valiant game.
00:27:13It's honorable to resist and to be an activist
00:27:16and to recognize the times that you're living in, even in a game show.
00:27:20You know, I think that's valiant.
00:27:22I wanted what I did out here in Survivor to mean more
00:27:24than me just winning a million dollars.
00:27:26I wanted to lift up a culture. I wanted to lift up my community.
00:27:29That's what I wanted, and so that's why I feel at peace, I think,
00:27:33with how I play the game.
00:27:40I've been thinking about writing a little song,
00:27:43getting some of my casualties to join in.
00:27:47We were not allowed to sing in the game because then you'd have to buy rights.
00:27:50Then I guess CBS wasn't going to pay for Beyonce.
00:27:53But now we are, and we have a song,
00:27:55and it's called the Survivor Shanty.
00:27:58Survivor Shanty.
00:28:01Even the song is named after you.
00:28:27I was there for 70 days,
00:28:29fed my tribe and got to play.
00:28:31Find an idol in a tree.
00:28:33Dang, it left with me.
00:28:35Soon may the Jephros come.
00:28:37Step towards our game is done.
00:28:40Now on the jury, we're the ones who'll cast that final vote.
00:28:44I came in loud. I came in proud.
00:28:46Solved a puzzle so fast, even Jeff's doubt.
00:28:49May not have won, but that merge I don't play
00:28:51made them all scramble, so I'll just say yay.
00:28:53Soon may the Jephros come.
00:28:55Step towards our game is done.
00:28:57Now on the jury, we're the ones who'll cast that final vote.
00:29:02Ooh, I went one by one.
00:29:04I rose the chance, so she's not done.
00:29:06She had a plan and hatched a plan.
00:29:09Better get on board or you'll get banned.
00:29:11Da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da.
00:29:15Da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da.
00:29:19Soon may the Jephros come.
00:29:22Step towards our game is done.
00:29:24Drop the four, but keep the one.
00:29:26We're here to have some fun.
00:29:28Gula!
00:29:38I went into the game feeling so fearful
00:29:41and worried about every single thing,
00:29:43and I'm just three years in a row,
00:29:45like I just had disappointment after disappointment
00:29:46after disappointment.
00:29:48But playing this game forced me out of my head.
00:29:52That person is gone from me.
00:29:54That shell has fallen off of me.
00:29:57I can't feel anything but gratitude
00:29:59because I never thought I'd come this far.
00:30:04I'm freaking proud of the way that I played this game.
00:30:06Every freaking day that I was out there
00:30:08and I did a challenge and I went as hard as I could
00:30:10or I maneuvered socially as best as I could,
00:30:13I thanked my body, like I thanked my mind.
00:30:17I want to take that mentality back into the real world with me
00:30:20when I get back.
00:30:21Don't worry about the future.
00:30:22The future's going to come.
00:30:23It's imminent.
00:30:24You have today.
00:30:25Life is an adventure,
00:30:26and every day should be received with so much gratitude
00:30:28and treated like an adventure.
00:30:30And just not be afraid of things.
00:30:32Not be so fearful.
00:30:50Hi, I'm Liana.
00:30:51I'm juror number five,
00:30:52and this is my Ponderosa.
00:31:04I don't even know how I feel right now.
00:31:05I'm like delirious with a tad bit of energy
00:31:08because like not everyone gets voted out as a survivor.
00:31:10Oh my god, the do or die was just like the craziest thing.
00:31:15The fact that out of the third chance
00:31:17that Deshawn chose correct,
00:31:18like that was just wild.
00:31:20Oh my god, I wonder how much I weigh.
00:31:22Hi, Dr. Ray.
00:31:30Do I smell bad or do I smell better than the other players?
00:31:36I at least was a part of a trial
00:31:38where like we birthed a new entity and thing.
00:31:40At least I can say I did that,
00:31:41so I feel like that's pretty cool,
00:31:43but it still sucks.
00:31:47152?
00:31:50Okay.
00:31:55125?
00:31:57I thought I could scrape by,
00:31:59and so it just sucks that it ended sooner than I expected.
00:32:02I guess it's a huge compliment
00:32:03because it means I'm a threat,
00:32:04more so than even Ricard,
00:32:05which I guess I was just being super hard on myself
00:32:07and didn't see myself that way.
00:32:09Oh, I'm doing better than I thought.
00:32:13That's not too bad.
00:32:14I can work with that.
00:32:16I can gain it back.
00:32:20Just eating my face off.
00:32:22I can't wait to talk to Tip.
00:32:23I feel like she's going to make me laugh so much,
00:32:25and Evie, and just everyone to see her and Shan.
00:32:29Nice to meet you two.
00:32:31I'm excited. It's going to be a party.
00:32:33Sucks that they get to miss out on that
00:32:34because it's going to be so fun.
00:32:38I've just arrived at Civilization,
00:32:42and I'm so excited
00:32:45to eat and see Evie and Tip,
00:32:48and hopefully they hug me and aren't mad.
00:32:51So we'll see.
00:32:53Evie!
00:32:55Oh my gosh!
00:32:57Hi!
00:32:59Hi!
00:33:01Are you okay?
00:33:03Are you okay?
00:33:04Evie was kind of the first person
00:33:06that I authentically trusted in the game,
00:33:08and she's right there to give me a hug,
00:33:10and so that just speaks to kind of Evie's character.
00:33:13Are you okay?
00:33:14I'm really happy to have her here
00:33:16and to be able to make sure she knows that we're good
00:33:18and that I'm proud of her as just a person.
00:33:22Liana and I had a lot of conversations.
00:33:24We had a lot of good one-on-ones,
00:33:26and she was the kind of girl
00:33:28I would be proud to go to the end with,
00:33:30and still to this moment can say
00:33:31I would be proud to go to the end with her.
00:33:33Are you hungry?
00:33:34Thank you!
00:33:35Thank you so much.
00:33:36Wow.
00:33:37Oh my gosh.
00:33:38That was fire right there.
00:33:39Fire!
00:33:40She ate like an animal, that girl.
00:33:42She ate more than anybody
00:33:43that walked into this Ponderosa has eaten
00:33:45since they walked in.
00:33:46She ate like a whole plate of wings.
00:33:48The whole pizza.
00:33:49French fries.
00:33:50The whole burger.
00:33:51Chicken.
00:33:52Some chocolates from the fridge.
00:33:54Almost everything from the menu.
00:33:57I would say.
00:33:58Let's check this person out.
00:34:00Wow.
00:34:01I came back and I eventually looked in the mirror
00:34:03and it's like my face is so skinny
00:34:06and my legs aren't even legs.
00:34:08Yo, I'm looking busted.
00:34:10Oh my God, my legs are really tiny.
00:34:12This is weird.
00:34:14Little booty.
00:34:15It shows how much this 26 day game
00:34:18really just tore through my body.
00:34:21You're only running on adrenaline.
00:34:22There's literally nothing in your body, you know?
00:34:26Because you know Xander ate all the coconuts.
00:34:28So that's another story.
00:34:29I'm kidding.
00:34:30It was just so, it was so much.
00:34:32I need to know because I'm so confused.
00:34:34She's been dying.
00:34:35Oh yeah, ask me.
00:34:36What, what, what?
00:34:37We thought you were in on the blind side.
00:34:38Tonight?
00:34:39Yeah.
00:34:40No, the night that I got sent out.
00:34:42You thought I was in on that?
00:34:43Because I didn't know.
00:34:45It's like a friendly interrogation.
00:34:47Like we'll give you food and hospitality
00:34:49while we interrogate the s*** out of you.
00:34:51And I was like.
00:34:53But it was all good because you know
00:34:54it needed to be smoothed over.
00:34:56No, Ricard, Ricard knew it was time to strike.
00:34:58And so he came for you
00:35:00and then he got Deshawn on board.
00:35:02And then Deshawn thought
00:35:03because we had our moment
00:35:04that he couldn't trust me to tell you
00:35:06even though we had talked about it
00:35:07the night before in the shelter.
00:35:08That's what's interesting
00:35:09about being here at Ponderosa
00:35:10is like everyone's going through
00:35:11their grieving process
00:35:12but in a different way.
00:35:13You know, Tiff makes jokes about it
00:35:14and laughs and you know
00:35:16Shan's more, you know, reflective
00:35:18and, and just really upset
00:35:19genuinely and angry.
00:35:20And Abby, you know, also is like upset
00:35:22and will poke like fun
00:35:23and like little things that happen too.
00:35:25We all have our ways of coping
00:35:27with the grief of like
00:35:28this is my dream
00:35:29and it kind of fell flat
00:35:30in front of my face unnecessarily.
00:35:32All the hindsight bias that comes with that
00:35:34but we just all have to go through it.
00:35:38♪
00:35:43Mentally, I gave him so much energy.
00:35:45Now you won't do that in real life.
00:35:46Better lesson.
00:35:47That's worth a million dollars.
00:35:49You will never, ever do that again.
00:35:51When you feel that coming on
00:35:52you're going to say,
00:35:53Liana, stop being emotional.
00:35:54Don't say that to yourself.
00:35:55Don't do it again.
00:35:56Don't say that to yourself.
00:35:57It'll be a thing.
00:35:58So it's where Amy and the YASA ladies
00:36:00are just having breakfast.
00:36:01There's mad steam from the game
00:36:03that we just have not been able to release.
00:36:05And when you need a little self-check
00:36:08I hate that.
00:36:14What the heck?
00:36:15Like we have all this, you know,
00:36:16stuff that we got to get out.
00:36:17Like let's get out here
00:36:18and release some steam at least.
00:36:19Can we do a boxing match?
00:36:21Can we throw some steam?
00:36:22Hello?
00:36:23Yeah.
00:36:24What do you want to throw?
00:36:25A coconut or two.
00:36:27Oh my, oh my, oh my, oh my, oh my, oh my.
00:36:31All right.
00:36:32Twist my leg.
00:36:57In conclusion,
00:36:59this was a healthy release
00:37:01of just, you know,
00:37:02all the steam
00:37:03pent up from the game
00:37:04and it came out of coconuts.
00:37:06We were coco nuts.
00:37:07Coco nuts.
00:37:08And we showed them.
00:37:09And we did.
00:37:10No, we showed them.
00:37:11They don't even know.
00:37:12But what they really don't know
00:37:13is that we're YASA strong
00:37:14and we're still playing the game.
00:37:16See you at Final Tribal.
00:37:18See you at Final Tribal, boo!
00:37:20See you at Final Tribal.
00:37:21See you at Final Tribal, boo!
00:37:22See you at Final Tribal.
00:37:23See you at Final Tribal, boo!
00:37:24See you at Final Tribal.
00:37:25See you at Final Tribal.
00:37:29In middle school,
00:37:30there's this Chicago-wide
00:37:31slam poetry competition
00:37:32called Louder Than a Bomb.
00:37:33All these kids,
00:37:34they're just being so real
00:37:35and vulnerable on stage.
00:37:37And as a kid,
00:37:38learning who you are and stuff,
00:37:40they were just right there
00:37:42and just talking about
00:37:43things that we were
00:37:44all going through
00:37:45but being really open about it.
00:37:46And I was like,
00:37:47I don't want to do that.
00:37:48Through being vulnerable
00:37:49and performing spoken word,
00:37:50you disarm people
00:37:51because you are
00:37:52how vulnerable you are.
00:37:55Thick thighs,
00:37:56robust with strength and power.
00:37:59What I see on TV
00:38:01does only but devour
00:38:02the strength in me.
00:38:04Flipping my mind
00:38:05into a false reality
00:38:07to strive to be
00:38:08anything but me.
00:38:11Straight hair,
00:38:12fair skin,
00:38:13and colorful eyes.
00:38:14Like the greatest emperor
00:38:15in the land,
00:38:16hand in hand
00:38:17with a monolithic society,
00:38:19think one way,
00:38:20be one way.
00:38:22To be who I am
00:38:23and not feel regret
00:38:24when I straighten my hair,
00:38:25all the compliments I get
00:38:26makes me want to forget
00:38:28the deep brown curls
00:38:29I brushed with a crack
00:38:31and a snap.
00:38:32Society told us
00:38:33it's too bad we're black
00:38:35to want our money back.
00:38:37This is for the black girls.
00:38:54There's this thing called
00:38:55radical acceptance
00:38:56and I chose
00:38:57to play this game
00:38:58and that means
00:38:59I have to accept
00:39:00all the things
00:39:01that come with that,
00:39:02even potentially looking like
00:39:03an idiot on national TV.
00:39:05I had one of the biggest
00:39:06advantages in the game
00:39:07and I misplayed it,
00:39:09but I didn't let that
00:39:10completely murder me
00:39:12in the game.
00:39:13I found a way
00:39:14to make it work
00:39:15and to stay in
00:39:16until seven,
00:39:17which is huge.
00:39:18And so, yeah,
00:39:19I'm proud of my game.
00:39:21And I genuinely did
00:39:22enjoy my time out there.
00:39:28I never gave up
00:39:29and I had a positive mentality.
00:39:31I was just kind of
00:39:32surprised by myself.
00:39:33I made the most
00:39:34of what I had
00:39:35and I was able to keep
00:39:36just very grounded.
00:39:37I still felt like me
00:39:38out there.
00:39:40I made it to final seven.
00:39:41Like, that's pretty sick.
00:39:43I have a lot to be proud of.
00:39:53Hi, I'm Danny
00:39:55and I'm juror number six.
00:39:57And this is my Ponderosa.
00:40:07I think making top six
00:40:08has me, like, a little excited
00:40:09to go tell the wife.
00:40:10Like, we didn't make
00:40:11another million dollars,
00:40:12but we did pretty damn good.
00:40:13So all day it was rough
00:40:14knowing that me and Deshaun
00:40:15were going to make
00:40:16another million dollars.
00:40:17I was like,
00:40:18I'm going to make
00:40:19another million dollars.
00:40:20I was like,
00:40:21this is the one that me
00:40:22and Deshaun would possibly
00:40:23be going home
00:40:24if we didn't pull up
00:40:25and win.
00:40:26Unfortunately,
00:40:27I saw a puzzle
00:40:28at the challenge
00:40:29and I kind of knew
00:40:30that I would be
00:40:31a little bit behind.
00:40:32Hey, Doc.
00:40:33I'm excited to see
00:40:34how much weight I lost,
00:40:35really.
00:40:36Is it usually
00:40:37lower or higher?
00:40:38Do you mean
00:40:39after the game?
00:40:40Yeah.
00:40:41I am kind of excited
00:40:42to see Shan,
00:40:43just to have that
00:40:44conversation with her
00:40:45to see kind of
00:40:46where she stands
00:40:47and if she understands
00:40:48my point of view
00:40:49and if not,
00:40:50I'll check it out
00:40:51and see if we can
00:40:52come to an understanding.
00:40:53Alright,
00:40:54so do you remember
00:40:55how much you weighed?
00:40:56211 or 214?
00:40:57210.
00:40:58I think we've got
00:40:59a record.
00:41:00Holy.
00:41:01190.
00:41:02And I haven't seen
00:41:03190 since 10th grade.
00:41:04Does it feel like that?
00:41:05It felt like
00:41:06when I was out there
00:41:07as far as like
00:41:08not having
00:41:09the usual strength
00:41:10or endurance
00:41:11to do certain stuff,
00:41:12but I didn't think
00:41:13it was going to be 20.
00:41:14I just want to stay
00:41:15and I don't want
00:41:16to lose weight.
00:41:17I just want to
00:41:18I just want a steak
00:41:19and some good sides.
00:41:20I don't even care
00:41:21about the sides
00:41:22as long as it's
00:41:23a good meaty steak
00:41:24and possibly a beer.
00:41:25I'll see you
00:41:26on the jury.
00:41:27Thank you for everything.
00:41:28Thank you for everything.
00:41:29Xander laughed
00:41:30like crazy
00:41:31as I walked out
00:41:32of tribal
00:41:33because I gave him
00:41:34the Go Cowboys thing
00:41:35so he figured that one out
00:41:36and Deshaun was
00:41:37mind blown.
00:41:38It was actually cool.
00:41:39I think he's going
00:41:40to take the things
00:41:41that I was telling him
00:41:42more serious now
00:41:43because he kind of knows
00:41:44that I've been through
00:41:45some of those things
00:41:46in my life experience
00:41:47and if it helps him
00:41:48it does.
00:41:49If not, I think me
00:41:50and Deshaun
00:41:51would still be cool.
00:41:52Oh.
00:41:53So I'm on the boat
00:41:54and you guys
00:41:55hand me this menu
00:41:56that has anything
00:41:57you can think of on it.
00:41:58Ponderosa Starless.
00:41:59I asked this question
00:42:00like what can I get?
00:42:01And the answer is
00:42:02anything you want.
00:42:03Can I get
00:42:04the Caesar salad?
00:42:05The swing vote
00:42:06Caesar salad?
00:42:07The outlast lobster?
00:42:08I want the
00:42:09ponderosa pasta.
00:42:10Oh, all the fixes
00:42:11that Jeff didn't give us.
00:42:12Can I get all the fixes
00:42:13that Jeff didn't give us
00:42:14this season?
00:42:15Please.
00:42:16I don't know where else
00:42:17I'm gonna be able to go
00:42:18and not pay for
00:42:19any damn thing.
00:42:20So I'm gonna enjoy this
00:42:21until it's time to go home.
00:42:22And when I get home
00:42:23I'm gonna be asking
00:42:24the people at the restaurant
00:42:25why y'all not like
00:42:26the people at Ponderosa?
00:42:27Why?
00:42:30I'm excited to meet
00:42:31the real people
00:42:32not the survivor people.
00:42:34I'm excited to hear
00:42:35what they have to say.
00:42:36If anybody's mad.
00:42:38Anybody needs me
00:42:39to explain something.
00:42:40And tell them
00:42:41about the real me.
00:42:42So this should be fun.
00:42:45Hopefully it doesn't
00:42:46get too crazy.
00:42:47My man!
00:42:48What's going on, bro?
00:42:50Good job, man.
00:42:51What's going on, man?
00:42:52Good job.
00:42:53What's going on?
00:42:54After I told you
00:42:55my kids were crazy cowboy fans.
00:42:57You didn't find me out,
00:42:58did you?
00:42:59I knew it was you.
00:43:00You didn't know that.
00:43:01There may be some
00:43:02conversations to be had
00:43:03between me, Chan, and Liana
00:43:04just because how
00:43:05the vote out went.
00:43:06I understood that I was
00:43:07gonna be walking
00:43:08into some fire.
00:43:09And it may have been
00:43:10a little hotter
00:43:11than expected.
00:43:12You and Deshaun
00:43:13making a decision
00:43:14at the end of
00:43:15all four of us.
00:43:16I mean, you see,
00:43:17it's been Chan, me, you.
00:43:18I mean, Deshaun
00:43:19might not be next,
00:43:20but what's happened
00:43:21has happened
00:43:22because of that.
00:43:23Absolutely.
00:43:24I have to ask Chan.
00:43:25Did you tell Ricard
00:43:26that we were
00:43:27trying to vote him out?
00:43:28I gave Ricard
00:43:29a heads up.
00:43:30That was my common
00:43:31courtesy to my number one.
00:43:32I was still locked
00:43:33in when we're number four.
00:43:34It was difficult
00:43:35to deal with
00:43:36because the emotion
00:43:37was high and then low
00:43:38and you just got voted out
00:43:39and you're trying
00:43:40to figure out
00:43:41how to process all that.
00:43:42You had five guns
00:43:43and you were going
00:43:44home already
00:43:45and they were looking
00:43:46to split it with Liana.
00:43:47So it was either
00:43:48tell you to play your idol
00:43:49or let Liana go home.
00:43:50I just tried my hardest
00:43:51to stay calm
00:43:52and try to understand
00:43:53where she was coming from.
00:43:54I'm still trying
00:43:55to figure out
00:43:56why you voted me out.
00:43:57I just told you.
00:43:58Because I told Ricard.
00:43:59Absolutely.
00:44:00I think we were able
00:44:01to let cooler hairs prevail
00:44:02after a while
00:44:03and we were able
00:44:04to talk it out.
00:44:05I'm willing to do
00:44:06whatever I need to do
00:44:07for all four of us
00:44:08to get together
00:44:09and show that no matter
00:44:10what happened
00:44:11on that TV show,
00:44:12we were sticking together
00:44:13and we were able
00:44:14to discuss it
00:44:15and move past it
00:44:16and then grow
00:44:17some type of relationship
00:44:18and maybe cause
00:44:19some change somewhere else.
00:44:20I think by the end
00:44:21of the night,
00:44:22Shan and Liana
00:44:23were able to see
00:44:24my side of it
00:44:25and they understood
00:44:26my point of view.
00:44:27I think we've talked
00:44:28all that out
00:44:29and I think we're
00:44:30going to move forward
00:44:31with only positivity
00:44:32from that instance.
00:44:38Yeah, so tell me
00:44:39about rugby.
00:44:40I've never played.
00:44:41You've never played rugby
00:44:42in your life.
00:44:43Well, rugby,
00:44:44let me start off,
00:44:45when we were young,
00:44:46we don't have ball.
00:44:47We use coconut.
00:44:48Of course.
00:44:49So we pass coconut
00:44:50around with each other.
00:44:51You tackle?
00:44:52I like to tackle.
00:44:53Yes.
00:44:54No pads.
00:44:55Just like this.
00:44:56Do y'all have
00:44:57a lot of concussions?
00:44:58Oh yeah.
00:44:59Oh yeah.
00:45:00Rugby players,
00:45:01they have lots of...
00:45:02Can you throw it forward?
00:45:03No, you can't.
00:45:04Can't throw it forward.
00:45:05It'll collapse.
00:45:06Forward pass.
00:45:07Gotcha.
00:45:08You only pass backwards.
00:45:09Gotcha.
00:45:10Try.
00:45:11A try?
00:45:12Yeah.
00:45:13So after a try,
00:45:14do y'all dance or something
00:45:15or celebrate it?
00:45:16Oh yeah.
00:45:17It's okay.
00:45:18So will you want
00:45:19to play rugby?
00:45:20I would give it a shot.
00:45:21I would give it a shot.
00:45:22Especially if it's a survivor.
00:45:23I think I'm back in shape now.
00:45:24So I would give it a shot
00:45:25to see what I could do.
00:45:26I would probably get killed
00:45:27now I'm getting old.
00:45:28My knee's bad
00:45:29and my back is bad.
00:45:30So maybe one game.
00:45:31Right hand at the back
00:45:32and left hand in front.
00:45:33If I spin it the other way,
00:45:34you catch it,
00:45:35the ball is going to go forward.
00:45:38Hold on,
00:45:39I'll show you how you spin it.
00:45:40Yeah.
00:45:41There you go.
00:45:42Awesome.
00:45:45Nice one.
00:45:48What is that called?
00:45:49Is it a scissor?
00:45:50That's like a cone.
00:45:51Gotcha.
00:45:56Go Danny!
00:45:57Go Danny!
00:45:58Come on Danny!
00:46:00We're just scoring on everybody.
00:46:01It's too easy.
00:46:02It's like nobody's out here.
00:46:04American footy and
00:46:05pigeon rugby.
00:46:06Easy.
00:46:07Easy.
00:46:08The connection is easy.
00:46:10You did great man.
00:46:11You did great.
00:46:12I'm the new
00:46:13Fijian rugby star.
00:46:15Taught at Malolo
00:46:17and I'm going to go
00:46:18turn this into something
00:46:19super crazy in the States.
00:46:20Just watch out for me.
00:46:22And Danny,
00:46:23if you get a chance,
00:46:24Malolo is here.
00:46:25We have a rugby team.
00:46:26Come and play with us buddy.
00:46:27I'm signing a contract today.
00:46:29I'm signing a contract today.
00:46:30Sign me up.
00:46:39What I thought
00:46:40I was coming out here
00:46:41for my purpose
00:46:42was to come out here
00:46:43and compete.
00:46:44Push myself.
00:46:45Push my body to the limits
00:46:46and see if I could succeed
00:46:47in something that I
00:46:48watched on TV
00:46:49and dreamed about doing.
00:46:52I thought that was it.
00:46:53But I really came out here
00:46:54to learn a little bit more
00:46:56about myself.
00:46:57And it's very, very crazy
00:46:58that it happened.
00:46:59I never expected it.
00:47:00It really happens
00:47:01when you come out here.
00:47:04I came up short
00:47:05but I gave it everything I had.
00:47:06I put my body on the line.
00:47:07I didn't care about
00:47:08getting hurt.
00:47:09I was doing
00:47:10everything I could
00:47:11to get the win.
00:47:12And I was doing
00:47:13everything I could socially
00:47:14to move myself forward
00:47:15in the game.
00:47:16So, I have no regrets.
00:47:18I met new people
00:47:19that I'll probably have
00:47:20lifelong bonds with.
00:47:22I really came out here
00:47:23shed tears and cried
00:47:24and found out
00:47:25stuff about myself
00:47:26that I never thought I would.
00:47:28You never really know
00:47:29when you're going to learn
00:47:30something about yourself
00:47:31and you always have time
00:47:32to continue learning.
00:47:38JUROR NUMBER SEVEN
00:47:52Hi, I'm Ricard.
00:47:53I'm Juror Number Seven.
00:47:54And this is my Ponderosa.
00:47:57I'm exhausted.
00:47:58I almost passed out
00:47:59throughout the entire day.
00:48:01This was rough.
00:48:02I broke down in tears.
00:48:04I shared all my secrets
00:48:05and luckily,
00:48:06I was not blindsided.
00:48:07I was just voted out
00:48:08for being the biggest threat
00:48:09in the game,
00:48:10which is accurate.
00:48:11Being the biggest threat to win
00:48:12and that being the reason
00:48:13I'm voted out,
00:48:14I wouldn't want it
00:48:15any other way
00:48:16other than to be
00:48:17the biggest threat
00:48:18in the game.
00:48:19So, I'm going to be
00:48:20the biggest threat
00:48:21in the game.
00:48:22I'm going to be
00:48:23the biggest threat
00:48:24in the game.
00:48:25I wouldn't want it
00:48:26any other way
00:48:27other than winning.
00:48:28Hey, Dr. Ray.
00:48:36Okay.
00:48:37I personally came up
00:48:38with the plan
00:48:39for eight blindsides
00:48:40this season.
00:48:42So, knowing it was
00:48:43the only non-blindside
00:48:45of the entire season,
00:48:46it was cool
00:48:47always being in the know
00:48:48and never being confused
00:48:49at Tribal.
00:48:52No.
00:48:55Okay.
00:48:56It's kind of weird
00:48:57thinking about being on the jury
00:48:58because I truly
00:48:59had not considered it
00:49:00like at all.
00:49:02So, 22?
00:49:04It's weird to think
00:49:05that one of the four
00:49:06remaining people
00:49:07will be receiving my vote,
00:49:09but luckily two of them
00:49:10I think deserve it.
00:49:11I really want a margarita
00:49:12on the rocks.
00:49:13That's like all I want.
00:49:14And I want to give
00:49:15Shan a hug.
00:49:16I'm really excited
00:49:17to see Shan.
00:49:18I'm really excited.
00:49:19So, I get on the boat
00:49:20after walking down the beach
00:49:21and then I'm given a menu.
00:49:23Okay, menu, food,
00:49:24ooh, and drinks.
00:49:25Oh, I'm so excited.
00:49:26It's kind of funny
00:49:27that I chose to order
00:49:28so much food
00:49:29when actually food
00:49:30did not sound good at all.
00:49:32I would like
00:49:33the Outlast Lobster
00:49:35and the Outwit Wings.
00:49:37Oh, and a Merge Mojito.
00:49:40I really had adapted
00:49:41to not eating,
00:49:42but I knew I was going
00:49:43to force myself to
00:49:44and I wanted it to be good.
00:49:45I was trying to like
00:49:46not think about food
00:49:48in case I did
00:49:49somehow stay in the game.
00:49:51Whatever.
00:49:52I don't care about
00:49:53the game now.
00:50:00I'm excited for them
00:50:01to tell me how great I did.
00:50:03What up?
00:50:04Hey!
00:50:05Hi.
00:50:06What's good, my man?
00:50:07What's good?
00:50:09Congrats.
00:50:10Congrats.
00:50:11You did a really good job.
00:50:12Good job.
00:50:13Riccardo and I
00:50:14had a very quiet,
00:50:15personal relationship
00:50:16that I don't think
00:50:17many people knew
00:50:18that we had bonded
00:50:19the way we did.
00:50:20I'm not happy
00:50:21to see you here,
00:50:23I was sad to see him here,
00:50:24but I was also like,
00:50:25oh, you know,
00:50:26I'm happy he's here.
00:50:27So I walk over
00:50:28to the mirror.
00:50:29I look nothing
00:50:30like what I thought.
00:50:31I look crazy.
00:50:32Whoa!
00:50:33I did not realize
00:50:34my beard grew
00:50:35the way it did.
00:50:36My cheeks
00:50:37are just like harder.
00:50:38Oh my goodness.
00:50:39I look so different.
00:50:42I kind of like it.
00:50:44Oh, thank you, Ace.
00:50:46I missed you.
00:50:48Come here, babe.
00:50:49Everyone is just drinking
00:50:51and saying hi,
00:50:53and most people
00:50:55were very welcoming,
00:50:56not all.
00:50:58I anticipated a little bit
00:50:59of hesitation from Shan.
00:51:01I still don't fully get it.
00:51:03I don't understand
00:51:04why we have such tension
00:51:06and that why even
00:51:07this first greeting
00:51:08of me coming in
00:51:09couldn't be more cordial,
00:51:11but it is what it is.
00:51:14I was trying to get
00:51:15Heather out
00:51:16for a long ass time.
00:51:18I think Riccardo,
00:51:20I think he's still
00:51:21very much in the game, though,
00:51:23outside the game,
00:51:24which can be tough.
00:51:25He's still very,
00:51:26it seems, in his head
00:51:27about both the game
00:51:29and what's going on at home.
00:51:30This season was hard
00:51:31as hell, man.
00:51:32Two twists,
00:51:33that blew up my game.
00:51:34I did not feel
00:51:36like myself at all.
00:51:37Do I focus my emotion
00:51:38on being out of the game?
00:51:40Do I focus on
00:51:41feeling betrayed?
00:51:43Do I focus on playing
00:51:44such an awesome game?
00:51:46I feel cocky,
00:51:47but I'm so serious
00:51:49I did not anticipate
00:51:50being here at all.
00:51:51I thought I would say,
00:51:53hey, thanks for voting for me,
00:51:55and we would get
00:51:56on the plane home.
00:51:5724 out of 26 days,
00:52:00a day and a half short.
00:52:09Today is my first full day
00:52:12out of the game.
00:52:14I just sat by myself
00:52:16for maybe an hour and a half
00:52:17waiting for anybody else
00:52:19to wake up,
00:52:20and the first person
00:52:21that comes out is Shannon.
00:52:23And she refuses
00:52:24to make eye contact with me.
00:52:26We had a real friendship.
00:52:29We even had a moment
00:52:30of us acknowledging
00:52:31the first time we said
00:52:32love you to each other.
00:52:34Like, we're a real thing.
00:52:37We were a real thing.
00:52:39And it's weird that
00:52:40it may just be that,
00:52:42a story in this show
00:52:44that doesn't translate
00:52:45to real life.
00:52:46It makes me very sad.
00:52:48It makes me feel like,
00:52:49who was the person
00:52:50I was playing with?
00:52:51I thought the game would end,
00:52:53and we would continue.
00:52:55I literally have an
00:52:56olive branch tattoo
00:52:58right here on my chest.
00:53:00Like, I'm always willing
00:53:01to extend an olive branch.
00:53:03I would like to,
00:53:04but I don't think
00:53:05it would actually be helpful.
00:53:06I think she kind of has
00:53:07to make the first move.
00:53:08The bond that we created,
00:53:10maybe it'll restart
00:53:11in the future,
00:53:12but right now,
00:53:13it is nothing.
00:53:17So we're going to be creating
00:53:19the Mount Rushmore
00:53:20of Survivor players.
00:53:21I'm going to draw out
00:53:22four names first,
00:53:23put them up,
00:53:24give a little description
00:53:25of each one,
00:53:26and as I continue
00:53:27to draw out cards,
00:53:28I will possibly
00:53:29replace some friends.
00:53:31Let's start.
00:53:33Chrissy.
00:53:34I think she was
00:53:35a phenomenal game player.
00:53:36I love the fact that
00:53:37she was an older woman
00:53:38and made it really far
00:53:39in the game,
00:53:40which statistically
00:53:41does not happen.
00:53:42Sarah Lucina,
00:53:43I think she definitely
00:53:44deserved to win
00:53:45Tyson.
00:53:46Tyson.
00:53:47I love Tyson.
00:53:48I think he's a great player,
00:53:49but not phenomenal.
00:53:50Hot take.
00:53:51Natalie Anderson,
00:53:52one of my absolute
00:53:53favorite players
00:53:54of all time
00:53:55in Survivor.
00:53:56Jeremy Collins.
00:53:57This is actually
00:53:58the perfect person
00:53:59to pull out after Natalie
00:54:00because their relationship
00:54:01in San Juan del Sur
00:54:02was perfection.
00:54:03Yes, he is going to
00:54:04take the place of,
00:54:06I will say Chrissy first.
00:54:08Russell Hance.
00:54:09He can just go
00:54:10right back in the box.
00:54:11I do not like his game play,
00:54:12and I do not like
00:54:13saboteur-type behavior.
00:54:15You know, I feel like
00:54:16a lot of people
00:54:17compare Malcolm with Joe,
00:54:19and it's just because
00:54:20they both have long hair.
00:54:21I feel like Malcolm
00:54:22is the superior choice
00:54:23to Joe.
00:54:24Malcolm will take
00:54:25Tyson's place.
00:54:27Michelle Fitzgerald.
00:54:29Hot take.
00:54:30One of my favorite
00:54:31winners of all time.
00:54:33And she will be taking
00:54:35Malcolm's place.
00:54:36Kelly Wentworth.
00:54:38I love her.
00:54:39I think she's a
00:54:40phenomenal player.
00:54:41I think you're going to
00:54:42take Lucina's place.
00:54:44Saree.
00:54:46Some phenomenal game players
00:54:48just never get
00:54:49the opportunity to win.
00:54:50Season 41 should have
00:54:52been Ricard.
00:54:53Ricardzi should have
00:54:54got the million dollars,
00:54:55just like Saree should have.
00:54:56You are going to take
00:54:58Wentworth's place.
00:54:59Sorry, Kelly.
00:55:00It took you a lot of times
00:55:02to win Boston Robb.
00:55:04A lot of times.
00:55:05I do not think you are
00:55:06going to make
00:55:07my Mount Rushmore.
00:55:08You already have an idle,
00:55:09massive face on an island.
00:55:11You don't need
00:55:12this one as well.
00:55:13Sandra.
00:55:14You are going to get
00:55:16Michelle's spot.
00:55:17Tony.
00:55:18You kind of dethroned
00:55:20the queen,
00:55:21so Queen Tony,
00:55:22here you are.
00:55:23You are going to take
00:55:25Natalie's spot.
00:55:28Centimeter.
00:55:29I think I have to make
00:55:31one edit to the
00:55:32Mount Rushmore.
00:55:36One of the most
00:55:37iconic players.
00:55:38Drop the four,
00:55:39keep the one.
00:55:40Survivor 41,
00:55:41Ricard.
00:55:42He is probably going to
00:55:43be back within the
00:55:44next five seasons,
00:55:45and he is probably
00:55:46going to win
00:55:47Mount Rushmore Survivor.
00:55:55This journey has been
00:55:57solidifying everything
00:55:59I felt I was capable of.
00:56:02Every single thing
00:56:03I thought I could
00:56:04bring to the game,
00:56:05I did and then some.
00:56:07I feel so good
00:56:09about my game,
00:56:10even if it was a little
00:56:11ruthless and heartless
00:56:12at times,
00:56:13because I was focused
00:56:14on myself.
00:56:16I think it was worth it
00:56:17because I played
00:56:18one of the best games.
00:56:21I have a huge fear
00:56:22of water.
00:56:23I have a fear of heights.
00:56:24Fear of diving.
00:56:26These challenges
00:56:27were very scary for me,
00:56:28and I thrived in
00:56:30every single challenge.
00:56:32Literally zero regrets.
00:56:34There is not one thing
00:56:35that is going through
00:56:36my head where it is like,
00:56:37dang, if I had done that,
00:56:38if I had done that.
00:56:39Nothing.
00:56:40At all.
00:56:42I had fun.
00:56:43Genuine fun
00:56:45throughout the days,
00:56:47and it was just
00:56:49a great, great experience.
00:57:09Hi, I'm Heather.
00:57:10I'm juror number eight,
00:57:11and this is my PUNdiverse.
00:57:23I gave it my best
00:57:25to win that challenge,
00:57:26and I lost by three seconds
00:57:28to one of my best friends
00:57:30in this game.
00:57:31I think I'm still
00:57:32wound up because of
00:57:33everything that just happened.
00:57:34The string was over here
00:57:35and it was pulling backwards.
00:57:36If I had to do it again,
00:57:37I would have pushed it
00:57:38in a little bit more,
00:57:39and maybe I would have
00:57:40taken home the victory,
00:57:41but oh well.
00:57:42The people that I was with
00:57:43on this journey
00:57:44was everything.
00:57:45I had the best time with them.
00:57:47I did make some
00:57:48really good friendships
00:57:49out here,
00:57:50and I look forward to
00:57:51keeping up with them
00:57:52long after the show's aired,
00:57:53so I'm grateful for that.
00:57:55Hi!
00:57:56I did give it my all.
00:58:00But I gave it my best shot,
00:58:01and I had fun,
00:58:02and I lost to one
00:58:03of my good friends,
00:58:04so it doesn't hurt.
00:58:05Oh my gosh,
00:58:06you voted me out!
00:58:07That feels great!
00:58:09I made this promise
00:58:10to my husband and to myself
00:58:11that I was going to
00:58:12give it my all
00:58:13without totally overdoing it
00:58:16to hurt me permanently.
00:58:18I think I did a good job
00:58:19of managing what I could do
00:58:21and kind of knowing
00:58:22when to stop.
00:58:23I hope other people
00:58:24see this,
00:58:25and they think to themselves,
00:58:27you know what,
00:58:28I'm not too old.
00:58:29So 141.
00:58:31Do you remember
00:58:32what you were at the start with?
00:58:33I think it was 157.
00:58:36Okay, 155.
00:58:39Um, like 145, 148
00:58:43is what I would think.
00:58:44Thanks for everything.
00:58:45Thanks for keeping me healthy.
00:58:47Yeah, I'm feeling hungry.
00:58:48I've been feeling hungry
00:58:49for 25 days.
00:58:51So I get on the boat,
00:58:52and being a super fan,
00:58:53and a huge super fan
00:58:54of the whole Ponderosa,
00:58:55like I even love,
00:58:56that needs to be
00:58:57a whole show in itself.
00:58:58There's always this menu,
00:58:59you know,
00:59:00because I'm really hungry.
00:59:01Poof, a menu appeared.
00:59:03Woo, I got the menu!
00:59:05Oh, snap!
00:59:08I'm so excited.
00:59:09I was having to hold
00:59:10the menu like this,
00:59:11because I didn't have
00:59:12my old lady reader glasses.
00:59:14Look, it says all the fixins.
00:59:15You know there wasn't
00:59:16a single fixin this season?
00:59:18I can get a margarita.
00:59:20I want the pasta.
00:59:21I want pasta with meatballs
00:59:23and the marinara sauce.
00:59:25Oh my gosh,
00:59:26I got the menu!
00:59:27I placed a very large order,
00:59:29and it was on the table
00:59:30when I arrived at Ponderosa.
00:59:34Woo!
00:59:36I'm excited to actually
00:59:38have real conversations
00:59:39with people,
00:59:40because this game
00:59:42really divided us,
00:59:44and with all of the twists,
00:59:46there's some people
00:59:47that I haven't even had
00:59:48a five-minute conversation with,
00:59:50so I'm excited to do that.
00:59:52Hi, guys.
00:59:53Heather!
00:59:54You did so good tonight.
00:59:55Oh my God.
00:59:57If I'm 52,
00:59:58and I can come out here
00:59:59and play Survivor
01:00:00half as hard as Heather did,
01:00:01I'll be proud of myself.
01:00:02So, hats off to her.
01:00:03That was a hell of an ending.
01:00:05She fought to the very end.
01:00:07She brought her game.
01:00:08She outlasted.
01:00:09She has children like I do,
01:00:10and they're gonna be
01:00:11super proud of her.
01:00:12Hell yeah.
01:00:13You were badass out there.
01:00:15I wish I'd done
01:00:16three seconds earlier
01:00:17or five seconds earlier,
01:00:18whatever.
01:00:19I'm glad that we went out that way,
01:00:20and it wasn't a matter
01:00:21of voting out or whatnot.
01:00:22It was probably
01:00:23one of the most epic
01:00:24fire-making challenges
01:00:25that we've ever seen.
01:00:26Coming from a competitor,
01:00:27I love seeing people compete,
01:00:28and it was really amazing
01:00:29to watch her fight
01:00:30for her life out there.
01:00:32This is not cute.
01:00:34I look so worn out.
01:00:37I look so raggedy,
01:00:38you know,
01:00:39and I'm looking at myself
01:00:40and it's like, wow.
01:00:42I'm looking just dirty
01:00:44and saggy
01:00:45and just pitiful.
01:00:48Physically seeing yourself
01:00:49in the mirror is kind of nutty.
01:00:50I felt like I needed to prove
01:00:52to people that didn't know
01:00:53how I played
01:00:54that I wasn't just sitting there.
01:00:56But I don't know why he picked her.
01:00:58I don't understand his rationale.
01:01:00He's going to go through
01:01:01a more similar experience
01:01:03to what I went through
01:01:04than anybody before us.
01:01:06We were so close to the end.
01:01:07It wasn't just,
01:01:08we made it to the merge
01:01:09and I'm pre-planning my speech.
01:01:11It's, we were there.
01:01:13He said something like
01:01:14he had a perfect challenge.
01:01:16He had a perfect challenge.
01:01:19Okay, say that again.
01:01:21Just even simple conversation
01:01:22around the table last night
01:01:23with so many voices
01:01:24going at once.
01:01:25All this food brought to me,
01:01:26conversation, the questions.
01:01:28Knowing people are sitting
01:01:29across from me
01:01:30that don't like me still
01:01:31because I had a part
01:01:32in voting them out.
01:01:33The whole experience
01:01:34was overwhelming.
01:01:35It was really overwhelming.
01:01:46I woke up when the sun rose
01:01:48and just went out on the pier
01:01:50and was just taking it in
01:01:52and I turned around
01:01:53and I saw Ricard walking up.
01:01:55And I just, I just teared up.
01:01:58I'll be okay.
01:01:59I just, just waking up
01:02:01somewhere different.
01:02:03All I wanted was to be back
01:02:05on the beach.
01:02:06Even like, not even necessarily
01:02:07playing the game.
01:02:08I just didn't want to be away
01:02:09from it.
01:02:10I think Heather is emotionally
01:02:12and mentally exhausted.
01:02:14I think we both just wanted
01:02:15to be back on the beach
01:02:16because that felt more
01:02:17like home than this.
01:02:19I think we're both
01:02:20going to be struggling
01:02:21with that in a way
01:02:22that nobody else will understand.
01:02:23That's the one regret.
01:02:24I didn't pay attention
01:02:25to him snapping my torch.
01:02:26I was too focused
01:02:27on the jury and you all.
01:02:28Ricard is a part of my
01:02:30happy story in Survivor.
01:02:33Him walking up to me,
01:02:35just, it felt good.
01:02:38I love my relationship
01:02:39with Ricard.
01:02:40He was in my alliance
01:02:42for half this game.
01:02:44I hated to see him go
01:02:46and I'm thankful that he's here.
01:02:49As a super fan
01:02:50of this Ponderosa,
01:02:51I've got to make it all
01:02:52happen really fast.
01:02:53I only have one day.
01:02:54So, let's go.
01:02:56To the pool.
01:02:59Inflatable pool toys.
01:03:01Oh, yes.
01:03:02Wait, wait.
01:03:05Okay, enough of that.
01:03:07Time for a quick set.
01:03:10Oh, no.
01:03:11Oh, no.
01:03:12Oh, no.
01:03:13Oh, no.
01:03:14Oh, no.
01:03:15Oh, no.
01:03:17Oh.
01:03:33Bam.
01:03:38Volleyball.
01:03:39Rugby.
01:03:40Whatever these are.
01:03:47The final stop
01:03:48on the Ponderosa Express,
01:03:50the spa.
01:03:55It's closed.
01:03:59The spa might be closed,
01:04:00but that's not going to keep me
01:04:02from enjoying my full
01:04:03Ponderosa experience.
01:04:17Going in at 52,
01:04:19I felt like I had
01:04:20a little bit more wisdom,
01:04:21of course,
01:04:22than some of these
01:04:2320-year-olds,
01:04:24but I surprised myself
01:04:25a lot more than I thought.
01:04:27I came into it knowing
01:04:28I was going to have to
01:04:29just buckle up
01:04:30and put that smile on
01:04:31when things are really hard
01:04:32and, of course,
01:04:33I had to do that sometimes,
01:04:34but I didn't expect myself
01:04:36to enjoy it
01:04:38as much as I enjoyed it.
01:04:42I'm going to go in
01:04:43and I'm going to go in
01:04:44and I'm going to go in
01:04:46and I'm going to go in.
01:04:47Everything that people told me
01:04:48that was going to hold me back,
01:04:50it didn't.
01:04:51As Jeff always says,
01:04:52she's last as usual,
01:04:54but she's not giving up,
01:04:55you know,
01:04:56and I didn't give up.
01:04:57I am not the most
01:04:58athletic thing in the world
01:05:00and I was able to make it
01:05:01to the Final Four.
01:05:03Every day I just grew
01:05:04a little taller.
01:05:05I'm stronger than I thought
01:05:07and I'm proud of the game
01:05:08that I've played.
01:05:10I know my kids will be proud
01:05:11and that's important to me.
01:05:13I've had a great,
01:05:14great journey.
01:05:16It doesn't make sense
01:05:17until you do it,
01:05:18but I didn't think
01:05:19it would be this much fun.
