00:39According to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the departure of Guo's country was only announced as a small corruption of the justice system due to the lack of public trust in the system.

01:12Before this, the Office of the President ordered the Department of Justice and Department of Foreign Affairs to cancel the Philippine passports of Alice Guo, her family, and a woman named Philippine Online Gaming Operator, or POGO.
01:27Based on a memorandum dated Aug. 20, which was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin for Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulia and DFA Secretary Enrique Manalo,
01:37the Office of the President ordered the cancellation of Guo's passport, along with the children named Wesley Leal Guo, Sheila Leal Guo, and POGO representative Catherine Cassandra Leong.
01:51Executive Secretary Bersamin referred to the Republic Act No. 11983, or the Philippine Passport Act,
01:58which states that it is up to the Philippine passport cancellation if the holder or owner is a fugitive or hiding from justice.
02:07Bersamin mentioned the arrest warrants against Guo and his family,
02:11followed by the refusal to participate amid repeated invitations to listen to the illegal activities of POGO in the country.
02:19The Executive Secretary also added that there were criminal complaints against Guo due to trafficking.
02:24Other cases were also filed against the former mayor due to his refusal to participate in POGO operations.
02:31Ong, who helped Guo in Singapore, was the first to be sighted in contempt of the camera due to his frequent visits to the hearings.
