00:53Yes, Jam is in charge of Jamazing Apparel, which is an online selling platform.
00:59Jam, what can you tell us about online selling?
01:02Because I caught you in the middle of online selling earlier, right?
01:04So how is it as a business, as a whole?
01:06Well, as a business, online selling is good because you can cater any buyers around the Philippines while just being at home.
01:14When it comes to profit, it's really good and less expensive when it comes to online selling.
01:20Yes, it's like the store is coming to you.
01:22So when did you start online selling?
01:24I started online selling in 2021 during the pandemic.
01:28Because everyone is at home and as a work-from-home girly who misses shopping,
01:36what I did was reselling items from Taytay.
01:41Then we sold all of it to our friends, families, and our hometown.
01:47And after many months, it's good because we were able to manufacture our own items.
01:54So how do you make sure that your products are better than others?
01:58Well, number one, since we're manufacturing, we make sure that our items are affordable.
02:04Secondly, our items are high quality.
02:07And thirdly, our target market is very specific, which are dresses for churchgoers in the Philippines.
02:15So that's the target audience, the churchgoers.
02:18That's why you're selling Sunday dresses.
02:22Yes, it is actually inspired vintage church dresses.
02:27It looks a bit timeless.
02:28So I'm curious, there are a lot of online platforms where you can sell online, right?
02:34So what's the best for you?
02:37I've tried Facebook, Instagram, Shopee, and TikTok.
02:40But of them all, we earn more from TikTok.
02:45Let's say, from live selling, 80% of our total live selling or online revenue is from TikTok.
02:53But how about you? Do you have gimmicks when you sell online?
02:56Maybe the most I've done is viral memes.
02:59But for gimmicks, when we do live selling, we give freebies.
03:05We have discounts.
03:07And even, we have games.
03:09Something like that, to boost and show our consumers the items they're wearing.
03:16I have a question for you.
03:18Because keeping up with memes is a bit of a challenge, right?
03:20So what are the challenges you face as an online seller?
03:24Well, number one, maybe, is the bogus buyers.
03:27Ah, okay.
03:28But do you lose funds because of that?
03:31Or not?
03:32No, we don't.
03:33Just effort and time?
03:34Yes.
03:35How do you avoid bogus buyers?
03:37So what we do when they don't respond is, we really wait.
03:43Just to make sure that they're not bogus buyers.
03:46And if ever, we have bogus buyers, we make sure that we take note and block them right away.
03:53So that it doesn't happen again.

03:57It's a hassle for those who only earn honest living.
04:01I also thought that it might be a challenge for you if someone agrees with your designs.

04:17Yes, actually.
04:19Sometimes, our resellers sell the same item.
04:24But what we do now is, we provide exclusive designs to our resellers.
04:30So you'll make a design just for the reseller.
04:33And you have a design that's exclusive to you.
04:35Yes, exclusive.
04:36That's a good technique.
04:37So I'll just share, in my online skits, I upload 2-3 times a week.
04:42But I'm not that familiar with the technical aspects of live selling.
04:46So how often should you upload?

04:50What time should you upload?
04:52What are the technical aspects that you want to share with our audience?
04:56So we do live selling 3-4 times a week.
04:59And then, we have teasers that we invite our consumers.

05:13So that our buyers will be informed.
05:16Secondly, of course, we do inventory count.
