00:00Hi, I'm Ben Wish, one of the Vice Principals at Wadden School. This is Results Day at Wadden.
00:05We're delighted with a really strong set of results and I'm so pleased to have some of my colleagues here.
00:11So I've got Lucy Harper, Head of Faculty for PE, Susie Drake, Teacher of Drama,
00:16and then my lovely Heads of Faculty for Science, Laura Myles and Sarah Comfort.
00:19If I start with you Lucy, would you like to comment on the results today?
00:23Yeah, we're really, really happy with our PE results. We've had a really strong pass rate,
00:27we're really impressed with a lot of our students and we're hoping that a lot of them will go on to take PEA level now
00:31because they've done so well.
00:33It's very exciting when the kids come back, we know how hard they've worked,
00:37but to be met with a 9-5, 100% pass rate with Drama was just amazing. Well done guys.
00:43Yeah, in Science, you can imagine the students were really nervous about the day,
00:49but we were really nervous about the day, weren't we?
00:52But really, really overwhelmed with how well the students have done. Absolutely fantastic.
00:57Yeah, we're particularly really delighted with our Physics results.
01:00Every student got a Grade 6 or above in Physics, which is a real outstanding achievement. So proud.
01:05And Whole School, we're really delighted for the students. They put in so much effort alongside the staff.
01:10And our outcomes, just two or three stats, 15% of all of our GCSE entries were at Grade 9,
01:17which is a fantastic achievement. 49% of all of our GCSE entries were at Grade 7-9
01:23and 32% of our GCSE entries were at Grade 9-8.
01:27So a really amazing achievement.
01:29But what's so nice this morning is there's a great buzz across the whole of the teaching and student community
01:34and we wish them all the best for the future.
