00:00but just with him then obviously he's went away he's came back he's sort of held his hands up a
00:05bit i think you'd probably need to say fair play to him and Stuart Kelwell mentioned this as well
00:10and i kind of thought the same before speaking to him like Tony Walt from my perspective as somebody
00:14in the media is brilliant like he speaks his mind and any circumstance you always get a good chat
00:20with him but i think he had other options he could have went elsewhere that would have maybe been a
00:25bit more lucrative maybe not so much lucrative if it's a lone move but certainly been a lot more
00:30comfortable for him then going back to somewhere where he probably knows that maybe it maybe didn't
00:36show on sunday but he probably knows there's a section of the fan base that are going to want
00:41proper like you know 15 20 goals a season tight numbers to win them back round i think it shows
00:47a level of ball and a level of character but that's the environment he chose to put himself
00:51other than maybe more comfortable options it shows a measure of the man as well Ben
00:56the type of person he is character massive but i think if you if you roll back to when Tony initially
01:02signed for Motherwell first time round where was he at in his career in that moment and how much
01:06does he owe to Motherwell for helping rebuild his career and i think he's an honest enough man to
01:12i think he has an emotional connection with the club after the situation he was in with regards
01:16to his his career at that moment when Robbo signed him to where his career has gone from then
01:22till now i think Tony as a doesn't owe the club i don't want to say he owes the club anything because
01:29ultimately he's done it himself through hard work but i do think he has a soft spot for the club
01:34he sees an opportunity where he can be the main man and i think he'll take it
