00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:05All praise is due to Allah, Who has sent down the Book to His servant, and He has not made it crooked
00:18established that He may warn of a severe punishment from Himself and give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward
00:39They will not be harmed therein forever. And He will warn those who say,
00:47Allah has taken a son. They have no knowledge of it, nor do their fathers.
00:58A word has become great that comes out of their mouths. They say nothing but a lie.
01:08So perhaps you will cause yourself to weep over their traces if they do not believe in this hadith, alas.
01:21Indeed, We have made what is on the earth an adornment for it, that We may test them which of them is best in deed.
01:31And indeed, We have made what is on it a steep ascent.
01:40Or do you think that the companions of the cave and the rock were of Our signs in wonder?
01:51When the young men turned to the cave and said,
01:56Our Lord, give us from Yourself mercy, and make easy for us from our affair a right course.
02:07So We struck their ears in the cave for a number of years.
02:15Then We raised them up that We might know which of the two parties was best in what they stayed for a long time.
02:26We relate to you their story in truth. Indeed, they were young men who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.
02:40And We struck their hearts when they stood up and said,
02:46Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. We will not invoke other than Him a deity. We have already said,
03:03These are a people who have taken besides Him gods. Why do they not come to them with a clear solution?
03:24So who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah?
03:31And when you have withdrawn from them and they worship none but Allah, then go to the cave.
03:45Your Lord will spread for you from His mercy and make easy for you from your affair a right course.
03:59And you will see the sun, when it rises, move away from their cave to the right, and when it sets,
04:09you will approach them to the left, and they will be in a gap from you.
04:16That is from the signs of Allah. Whoever Allah guides, he is the guided one.
04:25And whoever He sends astray, you will not find for him a guardian who will guide him.
04:34And you will think of them as wakes while they are sleepers.
04:40And We will turn them to the right and to the left.
04:46And their dog, his arms extended in the middle.
04:53If you had looked at them, you would have turned away from them, fleeing, and you would have been filled with terror from them.
05:04And thus did We resurrect them that they might ask one another.
05:12He said, saying to one of them,
05:17How long have you been there?
05:19They said, We were there a day or a part of a day.
05:24They said, Your Lord knows best how long you were there,
05:29so resurrect one of you with this paper to the city,
05:40and let him see which of them is purer in food,
05:48and let him bring you provision from it, and let him receive a reward, and let him not perceive of you anyone.
06:04Indeed, if they should appear before you, they would stone you or revert you to their religion.
06:15And you would not succeed, then, ever.
06:22And thus did We make it easy for them that they might know that the promise of Allah is true and that the Hour is not to be feared therein.
06:39When they disputed among themselves over their affair, they said,
06:44Build upon them a building.
06:48Their Lord is most knowing of them.
06:52Those who had prevailed over their affair said,
06:57We will surely take upon them a masjid.
07:09They will say, Three, the fourth of them is their dog,
07:14and they will say, Five, the sixth of them is their dog,
07:20a blow to the unseen.
07:23And they will say, Seven, the eighth of them is their dog.
07:29Say, My Lord knows best of them that which He knows of them, except a little.
07:39So do not dispute among them except openly,
07:47and do not question among them any of them.
07:53And do not say of anything, Indeed, I will do that tomorrow,
08:03except that Allah wills.
08:10And remember your Lord when you forget, and say,
08:14It may be that He will guide me to my Lord, that He may bring me nearer to this in right guidance.
08:23And they stayed in their cave three hundred years, and they increased nine.
08:32Say, Allah knows best of what they stayed in.
08:36To Him is the unseen of the heavens and the earth.
08:40Observe Him and listen.
08:43They have no protector besides Him,
08:49and He does not associate anyone with Him in His judgment.
08:54And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord.
09:02There is no substitution for His words,
09:06and you will not find besides Him any refuge.
09:14And be patient with those who call upon their Lord
09:21in the morning and in the evening, desiring His Countenance.
09:27And let not your eyes deviate from them, desiring the adornment of the life of this world.
09:34And do not obey him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance,
09:41and whose desire has been pursued, and his affair has been divided.
09:49And speak the truth from your Lord.
09:53So whoever wills, let him believe, and whoever wills, let him disbelieve.
10:03Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a Fire, encircling therein its surroundings.
10:14And if they seek to escape, they will be drowned in water like molten copper, burning their faces.
10:25Evil is the scorching heat, and evil is the scorching fire.
10:32Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, indeed, We do not waste the reward of one who does a good deed.
10:44Those will have Gardens of Eternity beneath which rivers flow.
10:54They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and they will be wearing green garments of silver and silver,
11:15reclining therein on couches. Excellent is the reward, and excellent is the reward in exaltation.
11:30And set forth for them an example of two men. We made for one of them two gardens of grapevines, and We surrounded them with date-palms, and We made between them a field.
11:53Each of the two gardens brought forth its fruit, and it did not fail in anything of it, and We caused to burst within them two rivers.
12:09And he had a fruit, and he said to his companion while he was talking to him,
12:21I am greater in wealth than you, and more powerful in men.
12:28And he entered his garden while he was wronging himself. He said, I do not think that this will ever perish,
12:44and I do not think that the Hour will ever come. And if I should be returned to my Lord, I would certainly find better than this in return.
13:08He said to his companion while he was talking to him, Did you disbelieve in the One who created you from dust and then from a sperm and then formed you into a man?
13:35But He is Allah, my Lord, and I do not associate anyone with my Lord.
13:46And why did you not, when you entered your garden, say, Allah willed it? There is no power except with Allah. If you see me, I am less than you in wealth and children.
14:14So it is possible that my Lord will give me better than your garden, and He will send upon it a cloud from the sky and it will become a rising cloud.
14:38Or its water will become a deep well, and you will not be able to return to it.
15:08And he said, I wish I did not associate anyone with my Lord. And there would not have been for him a party to help him other than Allah, and he would not have been helped.
15:29There is loyalty to Allah, the Truth. He is the best reward and the best reward.
15:59And Allah is over all things competent.
16:24Wealth and children are the adornment of this worldly life, and good deeds are better with your Lord as a reward and better as a hope.
16:45And the Day We will move the mountains, and you will see the earth standing out, and We will gather them together, and We will not leave any of them.
16:59And they will be presented before your Lord in rows, saying, You have come to us as We created you the first time. But you claimed that We would not make for you an appointment.
17:17And the Book will be placed, and you will see the criminals in awe of what is in it, and they will say, O woe to us! What is this Book? It leaves not a small thing or a great thing except its contents. And they will find that which they did is present.
17:47And your Lord does not wrong anyone.
18:17And they will find that which they did is present. And your Lord does not wrong anyone.
18:47And the Day He will say, Call the partners of Mine whom you claimed, and call them, but they will not respond to them, and We will place a barrier between them.
19:09And the criminals will see the Fire, and they will think that they will fall into it, and they will not find from it any escape.
19:24And We have certainly set forth in this Qur'an for the people every kind of parable. And man is ever, most of all, in dispute.
19:54And We have certainly set forth in this Qur'an for the people every kind of parable. And man is ever, most of all, in dispute.
20:07And We do not send messengers except as bearers of good tidings and warners.
20:15And those who disbelieve dispute by falsehood that they may cover up with it the truth. And they have taken My signs, and they have not been warned in mockery.
20:34And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the signs of his Lord but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have sent forth?
20:45Indeed, We have placed upon their hearts a barrier that they may understand it, and in their ears is deafness.
20:57And if you invite them to guidance, they will not be guided, then, ever.
21:07And your Lord is Forgiving, Possessor of Mercy. If He had held them back because of what they earned, He would have hastened for them the punishment.
21:19Rather, for them is an appointment which they will not find other than it.
21:28And those cities We destroyed because they were wrongdoers, and We made for their destruction an appointment.
21:45And when Musa said to his son, I will not leave until I reach the junction of the two seas or I pass a period of time.
21:58So when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and he took his way in the sea, fleeing.
22:10So when they had passed, he said to his son, Bring us our food. We have certainly met in our journey this person.
22:26He said, Do you see when we turned to the rock, and indeed I forgot the fish?
22:36And I did not forget it except that Satan made me remember it. And he took his way in the sea, wondering.
22:48He said, That is what we were seeking. So he returned to his footprints, narrating.
22:59So he found a servant of Our servants. We gave him mercy from Us, and We taught him from Ourself knowledge.
23:15Musa said to him, Shall I follow you so that you may teach me from what you have been taught, rightly?
23:26He said, Indeed, you will not be able with me to be patient.
23:33And how can you be patient over that in which you have no knowledge?
23:39He said, You will find me, if Allah wills, patient.
23:48And I will not disobey you in any matter.
23:53He said, Then if you follow me, do not ask me for anything until I bring to you from it a reminder.
24:08So they set off, until, when they boarded the ship, he broke it.
24:18He said, Did you break it to drown its people? Indeed, you have done a terrible thing.
24:26He said, Did I not say, Indeed, you will not be able with me to be patient?
24:34He said, Do not hold me to account for what I have forgotten, and do not make difficult for me my affair.
24:43So they set off, until, when they met a boy, he killed him.
24:53He said, Did you kill a pure soul without a soul?
25:00Indeed, you have done a terrible thing.
25:05He said, Did I not say, Indeed, you will not be able with me to be patient?
25:14He said, If I ask you about anything after this, do not accompany me.
25:23You have already reached from me an excuse.
25:28So they set off, until, when they came to the people of a village, they asked for food for their people, but they refused to host them.
25:46So they found therein a wall, which he wanted to break, so he erected it.
25:56He said, If you willed, you would have taken a reward for it.
26:02He said, This is the separation between me and you.
26:07I will inform you of the interpretation of what you were not able to do patiently.
26:15As for the ship, it belonged to poor people who worked in the sea, so I wanted to repair it.
26:27And there was behind them a king who seized every ship by force.
26:37And as for the boy, he was the father of two believers, so we feared that he would oppress them by rebellion and disbelief.
26:54So we wanted that their Lord should replace them with one better than him in purity and closer to mercy.
27:06And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and beneath it was a treasure for them, and their father was righteous.
27:24So your Lord intended that they should reach maturity and extract their treasure as mercy from your Lord.
27:43And I did not do it on my own accord. That is the interpretation of what you were not able to do patiently.
27:56And they ask you about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, I will recite to you from him a reminder.
28:06Indeed, We have established for him in the land, and We have given him of all things a way.
28:19So he followed a way until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a boiling spring, and he found with it a people.
28:36We said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish, or you take in them good.
28:49He said, as for the wrongdoer, we will punish him, then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment.
29:09And as for he who believes and does good, for him is a reward for good, and We will say to him, of Our command, easily. Then he followed a way
29:28until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it rising on a people whom We had not made a cover for them.
29:42Thus it was, and We had already taken from him what he had of knowledge. Then he followed a way
29:53until, when he reached between the two mountains, he found besides them a people who could hardly understand a word.
30:13They said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed, Ya'juj and Ma'juj are corrupters in the land, so shall we make for you an expense
30:29that you make between us and between them a barrier. He said, What my Lord has established in me is better, so help me with strength that I may make between you and between them a barrier.
30:55Give me the pieces of iron.
30:59Until, when he made a balance between the two sides, he said, Blow.
31:09Until, when he made it into a fire, he said, Give me, I will pour over it a drop.
31:23But they were unable to remove it, nor were they able to cover it.
31:33He said, This is a mercy from my Lord.
31:39So when the promise of my Lord came, He made it a sound, and the promise of my Lord was true.
31:54And We left some of them that Day to waver among themselves, and the Horn was blown, and We gathered them together.
32:07And We presented Hell, that Day, to the disbelievers as a present,
32:16those whose eyes were in cover from My remembrance, and they were unable to hear.
32:32Did those who disbelieved think that they would take My servants as allies besides Me?
32:45Indeed, We have prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a place of descent.
32:56Say, Shall We inform you of the greatest losers in deeds?
33:05Those whose effort has been lost in the life of this world, and they think that they are doing good.
33:22Those are the ones who disbelieved in the signs of their Lord and in meeting Him.
33:32So their deeds were in vain, and We will not give them a weight on the Day of Resurrection.
33:41That is their recompense, Hell, because they disbelieved and took My signs and My messengers as a mockery.
34:01Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them will be the gardens of Paradise as a place of descent,
34:19Abiding therein, they will not desire from it any change.
34:26Say, If the sea were an ointment for the words of my Lord, the sea would surely overflow before the words of my Lord would overflow,
34:43even if We brought with it the like of it.
34:51Say, I am only a human being like you. It is revealed to me that your god is only one god.
35:10So whoever hopes to meet his Lord, let him do righteous deeds, and let him not associate anyone with the worship of his Lord.
