00:00I'm Joan and I'm your first Golden Bachelorette. I'm gonna make so many new

00:04memories on this journey, but I want to talk about some of my old ones. Oh my

00:08gosh, I love this picture. It's of my four kids when they were pretty small. Nick

00:12is probably at the oldest 10 and it's when they got their first dog. You can

00:15see that they love each other and they're still best friends today. Oh God,

00:19this is a great picture. This is of my late husband and my father-in-law. It was

00:23one of the first football games we ever took the kids to. I love that this

00:27tradition carried on even through the memory of both of them. They are both no

00:30longer with us, but we are all still huge Commander fans. My brother and I at our

00:34childhood home. I think we must have been in like high school. Wow, we look like

00:38huge nerds and look at those haircuts. They're really bad. My mom and dad

00:41holding me and they look so incredibly young. My mom is 92 now and she's still

00:46with me. My father just passed away a few years ago, so I was lucky to have them

00:49through most of my adulthood. My mom and my grandmother and myself, they have

00:55these iconic old outfits on, so I love looking at these. My family, we used to

00:59go skiing every winter in Bale. It was a big chore, but it was something that was

01:04really valuable to our family. You can see we had a great time. It's very funny

01:07looking at these old photos now and thinking about the future, but I had a

01:12wonderful past and I'm looking forward to this next part of my life.
