00:00The river has crossed the boundary to release the fish of Chipura.
00:18The current situation is very dangerous.
00:20The current situation is very dangerous.
00:23The current situation is very dangerous.
00:27The reason for releasing the fish is not known.
00:32The current situation is very dangerous.
00:36Some of the netizens have pointed towards India, claiming that the situation in Bangladesh has worsened due to the opening of the Swiss Gate at the Gomati River in Tripura.
00:47Six lakhs of such posts are being posted on social media.
00:51If the Foreign Minister of India, Brihaspati Bhai, has made such claims on social media with an excuse,
00:59it is not correct to say that the youth movement spread in Bangladesh is not correct.
01:04The Foreign Minister of India, Bihaspati Bhai, has said that there has been heavy rainfall in the Gomati River area in India and Bangladesh for the past few days.
01:15The reason for the heavy rainfall in the low-lying area is the lack of water in the river.
01:21In this situation, the Prime Minister of the Government of Bangladesh, Bhamat Yunus,
01:29has said that there are many rivers and low-lying areas between Bangladesh and Tripura.
01:35He said that the situation in Bangladesh has worsened due to the opening of the Swiss Gate at the Gomati River in Tripura.
01:42But Bangladesh has not yet received support from India.
01:46Dr. Sreeradha Dutta, a resident of that country, started with the incident.
01:59People fall out of that rhetoric that Bangladesh is so prone to do.
02:03And as I said, water has been always an emotive issue.
02:06So every time there's a flood in a lower riparian state, we've seen the upper riparian state gets faltered and all kinds of allegations come in.
02:14See, look at that.
02:16I mean, I'm not saying that Bangladesh hasn't been deeply affected, but look at what has happened in Tripura.
02:21I mean, last I checked early in the day was that about 40,000 have been moved into relief camps.
02:28Many have died in this particular.
02:30And of course, the dam they're talking about is, I think, about more than 120 kilometers away.
02:36And, you know, if Tripura itself is so affected and the entire state government and central machinery is trying to address that,
02:44it is again a natural flow of water that has happened, right?
02:47And why would, I mean, I can't understand this reason that why would India deliberately do something like this?
02:52How is it in India's case to cause pain and, you know, anguish to Bangladesh, especially in a time when they're facing so many challenges?
03:01So this is again, there's a popular need to kind of ramp up these feelings.
03:07And I don't know why I really thought 5th August would mean that Bangladesh would break out of that.
03:12That every time there's a kind of a distraction that you require, you would use India.
03:17Every time, you know, you want to not look at your own internal problems.
03:21So while there is, of course, a system where India is constantly sharing information about weather changes and all of that,
03:29I'm also sure that Bangladesh also has a med department, right?
03:32And they would have been given the fact that two of us are such friendly partners.
03:37I'm sure there has been exchange of information and, you know, flow of whatever data and everything that is part of the protocol in place.
03:46So why hasn't that been considered ever?
03:49I don't know.
03:50But this is, and I'm sure, again, people who are knowledgeable are probably not doing that.
03:54But this is, you know, as you're saying, the social media and others are rife with some kind of allegations again and again.
04:00But I can't understand that.
04:01Why would India do this?
04:02How does it benefit India, especially when India itself is struggling?
04:06I would actually, and I did see a statement by one of the interim cabinet members, you know, on this particular issue.
04:13I would really think that they could have, or maybe India, I'm sure, has seen that how we can actually address it.
04:19You know, in South Asia now, everybody accepts the position of India as a first responder, right?
04:25In many of these humanitarian disaster events, India is the first one to go in there with whatever capacity they have.
04:33And I'm sure if required, India would definitely do that for Bangladesh.
04:37It's a close partner for us.
04:39Will India lend a helping hand to Bangladesh?
04:42Or will India sell its enmity for friendship on this difficult day?
04:48What will be the relationship between the two countries?
04:51Will it be a battle?
04:52Time will tell.
