00:00Brad on the contract, just to focus on the game tonight, what were your overall thoughts on the game?
00:06We showed good composure, probably early in the game we were a little bit side to side and a bit frantic about trying to score points instead of just building our game.
00:20We were able to come out in the second half settled and just got back to our work and learned the right to get ourselves in position to score and we did.
00:30We felt like we managed the game pretty well. We're getting better at it, we're learning how to build a game.
00:37We've just got to be patient that first 10 or 15 minutes, if you get a run of possession it doesn't mean you need to score.
00:42Just need to get their tackles up and wear them down because they're still moving quite quickly and fast in their defensive line because they're fresh.
00:50Quite a contrast in terms of performance between first and second half, what did you see as the key differences in that second period?
00:58It was only the attack that we were talking about because our defence in the first half was really good too.
01:02Our red zone defence, our line speed was really good, our systems.
01:08I was disappointed on the try from the scrum because we got some detail wrong there.
01:12We only had five on the long side and we needed to have six.
01:15That's something that we'll talk about because we've practised that.
01:20But outside of that, defensively, our detail is very good tonight.
01:25It was just attack, we were more patient in the second half and played more power through the middle and challenged our line which we talked about during the week.
01:34Whereas in the first half it felt like we challenged the line sideways.
01:37Quite a lot of success down the middle, how much of an impact did Jarrod O'Connor have do you think on the second half?
01:44He did but it was the way that we played, we played straighter, we played more direct which allowed him to do that.
01:50In the first half we went from side to sideline.
01:53Great support play for some of the tries as well.
01:57Like I said, that was our plan was to challenge the line and really get into the line hard and aggressive.
02:03But in the first half it felt like we were ambled into the line at half pace and tried to get some long passes on.
02:13We didn't really challenge the line until we got out a bit wider in the second or third phase of it.
