01:19We often see this team struggle with braking don't we and uh, especially in cold conditions and outlaps for example
01:26And this hulkenberg again just struggling to slow the car down and stopping the front from locking up
01:32Lifts his hand and a bit of confusion then from him as well. It doesn't look normal. Yeah
01:36the inside wheel to be breaking more so
01:40Particularly on the rear to help steer the car around the inside rear would break more to turn you into the corner
01:46In the drier conditions if you've got a car balance that's quite nervous twitchy if it's too positive when you turn in
01:51You want the outside brake because it's a loaded wheel and you want the car to stop rotating so much

03:19And that is it's a very valuable relationship, but it is that relationship over the weekend
03:24You know that starts again here on a wednesday and you work quite closely with them
03:27But you work much much more closely with the other engineers in the garage with the mechanics all around you with the team back at bradley
03:35You know bonham's relationship with that side of it with the entire mercedes team
03:40He probably spends a lot more time with those people than he does directly with lewis
03:44And that is one of the deciding factors
03:46We often don't see reese engineers move with drivers because they have more of a commitment to the team
03:52And obviously, you know from a family side of point point of view the move to italy is quite a big one
03:56It's not just like moving down the road to milton kings

06:00I looked a little bit worse actually off board than it was on board, but he still didn't like what gasly did as the hand goes up
06:08And they did say to us sitting there a few races ago we understand this car now we've got it
06:13We know what we've done to turn this corner
06:15So now it's just trying to continually improve on that as max goes quickest in the final sector
06:19And then lando norris pips into the line again by two tenths
06:23This is going to be a fascinating qualifying session. Whatever you have planned for your saturday afternoon

06:32Lando topping the times then from max verstappen who was two tenths behind him two tenths slower in that session
06:38But times improving all the way through lewis hamilton, uh, six tenths behind them then came carlos sites and george russell
06:44Alex albon quick in lee williams just eight tenths off
06:47Norris nico hulkenberg and kevin magnusson both halves in the top 10 there in that session joke
06:52I knew that 10th quickest but uh over a second and a half

06:57And then we come to p11. Lance stroll was leading the rest of the 20 drivers
07:02He was 1.8 seconds behind lando norris and sergio pérez in the other red bull had a bit of traffic out there as well
07:08Though charles eclair both ferraris on the mediums. He was back 13th quickest ahead of yuki
07:13Sunoda fernando alonso good effort from robert schwarzman in the other salva in for valtteri potas in that session
07:19Then logan sergeant esteban ocon daniel ricardo and pierre gasly rounding out the 20 drivers will be back for second practice later
