## How to Add a Page Border in Google Docs

### Steps to Add a Page Border:
1. *Inserting the Border*
- Go to the "Insert" menu.
- Click on "Drawing" and select "New."
2. *Drawing the Border*
- In the canvas, go to "Shape" and select the rectangle.
- Click and drag to draw the rectangle.
3. *Editing the Border*
- Go to the top menu and click on "Fill color."
- Make it transparent as we don't need it to have any fill color.
- Click on the "Border color" next to the fill color and choose any color you want (e.g., black).
- Adjust the "Border width" to your desired thickness (e.g., 16).
4. *Positioning the Border*
- Save and close the drawing.
- Click on the border in your document.
- Go to the three-dot options menu and select "Image options" then "All image options."
- Under "Text wrapping," select "In front of text."
- Go to "Position" and select "Fix position on page."
5. *Final Adjustments*
- Click and drag the border to position it as needed.
- Use the edge or corner points to resize the border to fit your page perfectly.

00:00welcome back in this video i'm going to show you how to add page border in google docs
00:05a border can make your document look super cool so to add it just simply go to insert from your menu
00:13click on that drawing and the new drawing opening the drawing canvas go to shape
00:22and just select the rectangle one click and drag to make it in any shape it doesn't matter
00:32we can edit this later next go to top click on fill color make it transparent as we don't need
00:41it to have anything then go to top again to the right of fill color click on the border color
00:50and choose any color you want i'm going for black now head over to the right of border color to the
00:56border width here you can choose the thickness i will start with 16 it's fine to me and seven close
01:06now click on it and go to the three dot options image options and all image options
01:14from here text wrapping in front of text
01:22i'll go to position make it fix position on page
01:28or we can start positioning it you can click and drag it and you can then go use the edge point or
01:36the corner point so i will start by using the corner point so click and hold
01:45then you need to do is using the edge point use this bottom edge point and click and drag it
