Wigan Athletic manager Shaun Maloney said his side deserved their win over Crawley.

00:00It's tough, I'd love you to ask me that question every game. We played amazingly well in our first game against Charlton and we lost the game and the performance was so good.
00:12Sometimes in football you win games that maybe you don't deserve, in some games it's the opposite. I think today was a bit strange, we didn't have a lot of the ball.
00:21I never felt under massive threat in terms of lots and lots of chances from them. They were a good side, so for level of effort and desire, I can't really say my players didn't deserve what they got today.
00:35But I understand Cawley played well, they had a lot of position.
