The begining that marked the end of ICL

The video was taken when the new Joint venture from ICL international and the companies representing ICL in Greece ADA and COMNET joint to improve the image of ICL in Greece. Moving to a new building was a great effort as it can be seen but the real success was the relocation of all assets of the two companies ADA and COMNET owners of significant assets in terms of Computer equipment , spare parts needed to mentain a significant customer base with maintenace contracts as well as software products and expert personail capable to service the customer base. Unfortunatelly , ICL was negotiating to sell the total group to the Japonise company Fujitsu and gave away the joint venture company almost at no cost. This had a consequence of all Greek partners to loose their shares instead of maitaining the company for Greece as it happened with ICL India. this was due to a mistake that Greek shareholders made in evaluating the situation. A great mistake on the part of the majority of the Greek shareholders. I was a major contributor in establishing ICL in Greece investing my shares having been deceived by one of the initial ICL dealers the company Pan SOLOMOS as well as investing cash from personal property. I devote this video to all my colleages and friends from ICL HELLAS and ICL International who may still remember this great British company
