00:00Allah says in the Holy Qur'an
00:03هو الله الخالق البارئ المصور
00:07He is Allah, the Khaliq, the Bariq, the Musawwir
00:11These three names of Allah have a close relation with each other
00:16Al-Khaliq is general, Al-Bariq is specific, and Al-Musawwir is more specific
00:23We said Al-Khaliq is the one that determines and measures accurately
00:28and creates without a previous model
00:30Al-Bariq is the one who brings things into existence
00:34and gives all things characteristics which would distinguish them from each other
00:39Al-Musawwir is the one that gives things its unique form, shape and appearance
00:45He gives it the finishing touch and fine-tuning
00:48For example, imagine we are building a house
00:52First we make the plan on paper and determine the measurements
00:55Then we bring it to existence, meaning we make the structure
01:00We add the walls, the frames, roof and etc
01:03Then we add the finishing touch
01:05We select the paint, the tiles, the carpet, the lighting and etc
01:10Allah says in the Holy Qur'an
01:13It is We who curated you and gave you a form
01:17Whether it is the whiskers on a cat, the amazing pattern on a tiger,
01:22the sharp teeth of a shark, the beautiful colours on a peacock
01:26Whether it's your body, it all has been curated and shaped in a unique,
01:31beautiful and a special finishing touch by Allah Al-Musawwir
01:35Looking at the things in the universe, their different forms, shapes and sizes
01:41a person should come to realise that all of this had not come by chance
01:45It has a unique curator
01:48All of this reflection should increase our humility before Allah and admire His perfection
01:54It should increase our belief in Allah and in His oneness
01:58And we should recognise Allah Al-Musawwir through His curation
02:02Al-Musawwir has curated and formed you with a unique brain, a face, heart and a body
02:09How are we going to use them?
02:11Allah will question us on the Day of Judgment as to how we use our eyes, our ears, our mouth, our hearts and so on
02:20We should be smart and use these blessings to do as many good deeds we can
02:26It is Allah who formed you, giving you the best of forms
